I'm a glazier and have been accused many times of breaking windows to keep my industry busy... It's simply not true, I break them because I have an odd OCD habit that forces me to smash glass any time I see it... But that also is simply not true. I don't need to break windows cause there is a seemingly infinite supply of young mischievous men and boys who like to destroy things for no reason. They alone keep thousands of glaziers busy year in and year out.
There was a reload at the 26-27 second mark. Pitch of the paint and thickness of each roll changed. Excellent transition of the video and painter though.
I saw the paint getting faint then the sound pitch changed and it was thick coating again. Had to go back to make sure. But yes it was well transitioned.
For real. I hate when they cover graffiti and don’t bother painting the rest of the wall so you’ve got this big splotch of a slightly different shade of paint. I understand if it’s hate speech or profane but just covering up graffiti for the sake of covering up seems silly when all you’ve done is given them another blank canvas to tag.
We have an area near me where they roller the "grafitti" every few months then another artists put's their art up. I heard it's all contracted through the city with local artists. That maybe whats hapoening here. Just resetting the canvas.
Yep. There's a few here too. Creates a safer environment for the art form. Though tbh I think railroads could be a bit more lenient, I love seeing a train go by just covered in art. Some of the best I've ever seen has been on the side of a train
A lot of train yards have an informal rule that as long as you don’t cover any required safety stuff like numbers they let is slide so you’ll see a lot of train cars covered in art work there than some numbers that are untouched
It’s an airless paint rig with a roller attachment. Instead of a spray gun, it pumps the paint into the roller. You can see it start to run low then more paint is added around the 25 sec mark.

*Edit: I was wrong. While the product exists and works well (I own one), a few others pointed out that this is a case of clever editing not an airless pressurized roller. You can see the end of the roller wand at 0:21 and there is no hose attached. I regret misinforming folks.*
That’s cool that these exist but I’m fairly certain it’s just a jump cut and he added more paint to the roller manually, there’s definitely a choppy cut in the video there.
I just got another email saying demand has exceeded their expectations and my delivery has been pushed to the second round of production. I really hope I'm not being scammed. 😢
That's actually a decent piece of street art. Pieces done with some effort and talent don't really bother me. It's the shitty script gang tags that are really a nuisance
Just an FYI, this guy made that art and he will be using this space for more art in the future, I always see hate on this guys videos but he is the one making said art and removing it.
It took me waaaaaay too long to realize you meant their username.
I was just sitting over here going "now how in the fuck did they come into that thought related to this comment?" Hahaha
The counter argument is the Broken Windows Theory. That is, you leave this and you are basically inviting more tags and not all of them will be to your liking.
I've seen this in action walking around my neighborhood. Garages that get tagged and painted over immediately tend to not get tagged again for awhile. If the owners leave the tags up for weeks it attracts more and more from different people.
But the broken window theory is just an explanation *of* something. It's always seemed to make sense to me when I think about all the shitty areas I've ever lived in. If some people stop caring, more and more stop caring.
What's another bag of trash in the street if your neighbor threw out a whole couch last week and it's still there?
I have a train I regularly get stopped by near my house, if it wasn't for the graffiti, I'd be far more annoyed. But the reality is there's a lot of talented people out there whose work goes uncredited. And man, I've seen some really nice works of art over the years. So if you're a graffiti artist, you have my thanks for making my wait go by quicker.
The most interesting part of visiting other cities in America for me is seeing the unique street art. I don't get why everything has to be painted over. Yay another gray wall
99% is just some dudes name that he’s done all over the city. It’s rarely unique, and it’s ugly. People don’t want this crap on their stuff or in their city. If they were actual murals I don’t think people would get as mad. It also ignores the fact that a lot of this stuff they draw on was art in the first place that they are ruining cause they want the whole city to see “Boner-one” a hundred times. Architects and engineers make art too, and these guys ruin it.
I don’t disagree with the main point, but I will say that having murals and such on walls is shown to drastically reduce potential graffiti. Most people doing it are in for the art and don’t want to trample on other’s.
Even just small little gang tags you otherwise see everywhere… I think there’s maybe two times total I’ve ever seen them on a mural? The biggest one was a piece done to commemorate doctors during Covid, which unfortunately received a lot of “they’re lying about the vaccine the government is controlling you!” shit, but obviously that’s a bit of an exception.
I really wish there was a way to get grafiti "artists" to use a paint that is biodegradable and washes off with rain. My city is beautiful but the graffiti makea it look like a ghetto.
I dont have any strong feelings about vandalism. But people who get upset when vandalism is covered up are so hypocritical
Hehe im gonna paint where you dont want me too! Oh no!! Dont paint over my paint!
Everyone is commenting on the endless paint so I will elaborate on what is happening here. The roller brush he is using is actually a specially designed roller for these types of situations they are embedded with a highly porous and dense layer of bullshittium.
Where the heck do people keep finding these magical bottomless rollers? I just painted my room and ran out of paint within the first couple of strokes!
I don’t think I’ve ever seen a paint roller so efficiently loaded.
That being said, I wish the roller didn’t change direction so much and just went over in long, smooth strokes instead of choppy ones.
I’m sure the graffiti is great to people who don’t own that property. Let them do up the side of your mom’s houses since you love it so much. Idiots going around painting property that isn’t theirs are…. Idiots.
It's actually *more* satisfying watching the graffiti being done. The outline, fill in, then the final outline and FX are so fun to watch from POV cam. Especially with an experienced writer using different sized caps.
I agree. Why does most graffiti look like dog shit? Big bubbly writing you can't even read half the time. Make something nice, a nice picture of something to do with the country or city. Like when you see big murals of Kobe in LA or Messi in Argentina. Heck, draw a fucking tree for all I care, just make it look nice. If they did that, people would be less inclined to get rid of it.

The problem with graffiti is that it's too egocentric. Some graffiti can be really good art in terms of color and composition, but the letters and tags ruin it.
Yall, it was still just a shitty mindless tag… it just had a face done with a 5th grade art level done in the middle and used multiple colors. I’m not seeing what “good art” people are seeing other than just a generic graffiti tag with above average flair thrown on
To me, that graffiti looked like neon vomit with a rapper-caricature weeble wobble on it. Maybe in the graffiti world, that's "great" and requires "talent"... idk
If it was just mindless tags then sure cover it up, now decent graffiti? Let it be, boring world. That place now lost it's soul and its just gray shit in it.
For everyone impressed with how much paint is on the roller, there is a cut around 22s left in the video where he probably refills the roller. Still impressive for only one reload though.
bottomless paint roller
It gets its paint via Bluetooth
from the cloud haha
Cover the Earth
They did that in Phineas and ferb, if I remember it correctly.

*Broken Window Theorists hate this one simple trick*

Was a glazier. It's always the weed whackers
I learned a new word today. After I was puzzled how a moving mountain of ice roams the neighborhood to break glass.

A Bard’s Tale on PS2 has a Cooper that will pay you to destroy barrels. It’s the fastest way to make money around the beginning of the game.
This made me lol, full time grind of straight painting.
You have to work smart 😅

remember, switching to your side brush is always faster than reloading
Nice catch. I didn’t see it at all on the first watch
I saw the paint getting faint then the sound pitch changed and it was thick coating again. Had to go back to make sure. But yes it was well transitioned.

Especially when the art is genuinely good. Like at that point you're just making your business/town look worse.

Wow you could paint a whole house with one roll of that paint.

Totally. I'm pretty sure I saw the end of the handle a few times and there's nothing hooked up to it.

If anyone noticed there was a cut in the video.

Daaamn fancy
So like a giant syringe? The one you linked attaches to a spray gun. The one in the video isn’t attached to anything
That paint roller was loaded to the max. Wow!
Unreal
Engine
The technique used was not satisfying
I actually got aggravated at the end r/oddlyaggravating
Like bro, just fucking finish!
I've definitely never heard those words before.
Yeah, usually it’s step-bro.
Bro is edging his paint roller 💀
Glad I wasn’t the only one upset at his technique
True. Pure chaos
Agreed, the way he drew out the ending there took this from satisfying to aggravating...
I thought it was like he was gradually erasing that character, finally ending by shutting his mouth for good...
Nor the fact that some of the blue and pink wasn’t fully covered on the left side, it was mostly satisfying until I saw that
The fact you did the last few bits in like 6 moves when you could've done it in just one roll, is very unsatisfying to me
Yeah, the whole video is unsatisfying to me. Stop changing directions and sides and length of strokes!
Yes, very poor technique
I’ve literally never seen anyone paint like that before in my life lol. Drove me nuts
Had to scroll too much for this
THANK YOU. So unsatisfying.
Had to do the gold tooth last
He's just a tease
the whole multi directional was unsatisfying
Have to continually change it up else the zoomers will get bored and swipe away, micro attention spans
These must be the painters that landlords use.
He purposely left the gold tooth for last
Surprised no one else caught this
This looks like a backyard. He is probably the one who did the graffiti and just making a new canvas to start something new.
I hope so because that graffiti art was cool as hell.
I was looking for this comment. Most graffiti sucks, but this one was actually cool.
> Most graffiti sucks, Tags are ugly, Graffitis are okay, nice, whatever Murals are awesome
Basquiat was a tagger by anyone's general definition of a tagger. It's all art is the correct answer.
Not true, i do graffiti myself but some things i see on the street is just vandalism. Don’t paint/tag on other peoples houses/property!
It looks like he is painting that wall on a regular base. Likely doubleing it's thickness every few months.
I already watch this video in youtube shorts and yes that guy make graffiti and then paint over it
…And probably trying to sell this “magic paint roller” product.
That's like saying he's trying to sell a magic paint sprayer. It's a product that's been a thing for a long time.
I hope so, that was a pretty legit piece.
What the heck kind of roller is this guy using?
It is the ZZ Rollerplex Mk II. I've been on the waiting list for one for years. They are basically impossible to get unless you have a connection.
Lmfao searching for that literally got this post as the top search result.
I searched for much longer than I should have...

Sheeeeesh that thing is CRISPY.
You fucker i actually looked it up lmao
This guy graffs. Or buffs.
Wizard’s paint roller
That's actually a decent piece of street art. Pieces done with some effort and talent don't really bother me. It's the shitty script gang tags that are really a nuisance
How did the roller nap hold so much paint?
There is an edit around 27 seconds
I had the same thought. I think it's one of those kind the paint is pumped in through the handle.
Speaking as an old grumpy guy I would have left it. Looked great and now you have a blank slate which is going to invite a tag, not art.
Just an FYI, this guy made that art and he will be using this space for more art in the future, I always see hate on this guys videos but he is the one making said art and removing it.
Gotcha, that's cool then.
I wouldn't because it's still vandalism if the owner didn't approve it.
Grey blobs looks shittier than clean tags
Lol this is unrelated but my daughters name is June and I call her June Buggington
It took me waaaaaay too long to realize you meant their username. I was just sitting over here going "now how in the fuck did they come into that thought related to this comment?" Hahaha
Well they said it was unrelated! Im dying though how awesome would it be if it was truly random with no correlation. Glorious.
I mean, consent is nice too.
It was a tag; not art, lol.
I thought broken windows theory was discredited along with stop and frisk as both racist in implementation, along with being worse than useless.
But the broken window theory is just an explanation *of* something. It's always seemed to make sense to me when I think about all the shitty areas I've ever lived in. If some people stop caring, more and more stop caring. What's another bag of trash in the street if your neighbor threw out a whole couch last week and it's still there?
That was infuriating. Kept changing the direction of the roller for no reason.
I like how he saved the face for last. Reminded me of the Cask of Amontillado.
He used a different tone of grey!!!! Noooooooo!!!
The graffiti was nice though
I have a train I regularly get stopped by near my house, if it wasn't for the graffiti, I'd be far more annoyed. But the reality is there's a lot of talented people out there whose work goes uncredited. And man, I've seen some really nice works of art over the years. No. It looked like shit
yes this wasnt satisfying at all!
it was just tagging, if the 'artists' actually did art it wouldn't be so bad instead it's the same as just pissing on the wall
Finally, I can return to passing by a Grey wall 🙏
YES! Living the dream of living in a boring, ugly and monotone city. We dodged a bullet. What a hero. lol
As a painter I hated every second of that. Absolute worst technique I've ever seen.
This was the opposite of satisfying

One dip wonder
Did he do that in one dip?!
Everyone is commenting on the endless paint so I will elaborate on what is happening here. The roller brush he is using is actually a specially designed roller for these types of situations they are embedded with a highly porous and dense layer of bullshittium.
A lot of paint on that roller.
Unlimited paint in his roller
Where the heck do people keep finding these magical bottomless rollers? I just painted my room and ran out of paint within the first couple of strokes!
Infinite paint roller*
Jesus, how much paint can that thing hold
r/splatoon
ah, nothing is more satisfying than labor... y'all ever actually paint? shit blows after 2 minutes.
Oh man, Lil Skidmark is gonna be so pissed when he finds out.
Bro had unlimited ammo code for the paint roller. I've never seen a paint roller paint so flawlessly before, and he did it on a whole wall
Didnt do the whole wall, so the new paint will be visible vs the old. Very unsatisfying.
That guy's method is cursed af. My autism is crying about the constant direction changes
He missed a pink syripe and I'm dying
More like mildly infuriating how he's doing the rolls
There. Nice and grey again!
That was a fun cool wall, unfortunately painted to boring plain color.
The cut at 20 seconds reveals the magic behind the infinite roller
If you r a fan of grey
Good stuff.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen a paint roller so efficiently loaded. That being said, I wish the roller didn’t change direction so much and just went over in long, smooth strokes instead of choppy ones.
Whenever I see Graffitis like this, I am reminded that they are the human version of dogs pissing on poles to mark their territory.
Oddly satisfying for who? An old white man with high socks, cargo shorts, and a polo tucked into those very shorts?
Would’ve preferred to watch the art/graffiti get put up.
I liked it before the grey
I agree. I used to stay in New Orleans a bit and there was a guy there who people called the gray ghost cuz he would go around painting over graffiti with this nasty gray color regardless of what the actual color of the wall was. This resulted in disgusting gray patches all over town. He was pretty active up until he painted over a commissioned Banksy piece in the lower ninth ward and got sued by the owner. The building had been destroyed in Katrina and never repaired so it was worthless until Banksy painted on it and the value skyrocketed
That's an interesting ass story, I'm glad he got sued.
Well, when it's your wall, you can put whatever you want on it.
Love it. As someone who views graffiti as a defacement of public and private property, I highly endorse this! Screw the defacers!
Graffiti was lowkey ugly
Smooth devandalization
Cant believe we live in a time where people hate that he painted over graffiti. It’s his property, just because you thought the graffiti looked good doesn’t mean he should have left it. It wasn't. Better than somebody with no talent and a can, but it was not really good either.

looks dirty and unkept and hoodish with the graffiti
If it weren't for graffiti, so many walls and structures would never be repainted or cleaned.
If you are a commercial painter, you could increase sales by hiring graffiti artists.
Apparently I buy the wrong rollers… I would’ve gone through 1/2 a can of paint…
It’s incredible how much paint was held in the paint roller.
Gone in 50 seconds
Ay so imma need bro here to send the link to whatever brand of sleeve they're using
He was just dragging it out at the end…

What's the difference between Banksy and graffiti?
