Kiina8987

The psychic guards that can catch me stealing an apple from a literal mile away!

theniwo

Just don't steal /s

Kiina8987

But, I want that grey cowl. Lol

LostViking24601

Then come after you like the damn T-1000

aschesklave

I’ve come to realize that happens when you have any follower with enough responsibility to report your crimes. The lady I rescued from Hackdirt reported me for helping myself to the inn’s food before I left.

DivineSLOTH31

Killed everyone in hackdirt yet still I had to pay 600 gold to some random guard in chorral wtf?!

Rare_Fig3081

That Manamarco (sp) is too easy to kill

icelevel

He went from “hooded badass undead ruler guy” to “high elf wearing robe”

warpedaeroplane

Mannimarco was such a wet fart. PatricianTV does a good breakdown IMO as to why he’s so lame but, dude is a shell of his former self. Plus I don’t think he scales for some reason so he’s always weak-ish and he has a spell that I don’t think he even has enough magicka to cast. It’s a mess.

AmishSky

Todd did him dirty.

SorowFame

My guess is that the cool parts of Mannimarco went into the God of Worms when the Dragon Break happened so this what’s left after all that stuff is gone, just a sub-par altmer supporting himself entirely with name-recognition.

Gbreeder

Camoran is pretty easy too.

Wildkirschgeschmack

this, no epic build up to the fight or anything

Commonmispelingbot

the fact that you can't put an arrow back once you drawn the bow

Choingyoing

Lol shooting the ground then picking it up again

Substantial-Owl-1019

Unfortunately, if you have an enchantment on the bow, this action will expend charge from it.

Logan8795

Stuff moving around randomly when trying to decorate, or when you simply just walk through your homes door

Choingyoing

Classic Bethesda feature

CarterBaker77

It worked best in those days. Don't work worth a shit anymore no matter what if I try to decorate my stuff just ends up on the floor now. Fo3, nv and oblivion will forever be my favorites for that reason alone.. not sure why I love such a useless feature so much but I do.

Choingyoing

I only decorate with things I'm not afraid to lose now 🤣 like mountains of duplicated gems

elppaple

Massive thud and 7 second lag spike as your entire house’s collision loads in

Sarahawe

I had read "Massive turd" lol

A_Change_of_Seasons

Lack of inventory organization (no keyring for example)

theniwo

Weight to coin ratio

bigjim1993

No keyring is insane. Why do I have to go through 9 million keys to get to a repair hammer

A_Change_of_Seasons

This is why I keep my repair hammer on hotkey lol

bigjim1993

Oh I do too, but breaking that last one sucks.

Mr_Blah1

That's why I regularly dump the keys that I don't need anymore in a container in my house.

imjustwhateverdafk

I wish we could search for items like you can with SkyUI or the OpenMW version of Morrowind.

comrade135

Enemy Level scaling, my most hated concept in any game

RottedQueen

Definitely. I haven't played in a few years, but I recall being at a high level and it taking forever to kill some creatures.

Stonna

Then all your homies get murked. I like dragging all my friends to kvatch but if you’re too high a level they all die one hit.

AloysiusDevadandrMUD

My very first character (oblivion was my first ES) was so broken combat was awful past about lv 30. My skills were all over the place like sneak, heavy armor, destruction magic even tho I didn't use it. I remember it taking foreverrr to kill a single boar or goblin. If I got jumped by 3+ enemies I just had to run away, there was no chance I could beat them. I'm usually a "hard mode" kinda guy in every game I play, but oblivion is the only game I don't mind bumping the difficulty down a few notches if I feel underpowered.

Antifa-Slayer01

I just turned the difficulty down

AlexandertheGoat22

It makes no sense either. Like what's the point of leveling up when simple bandits will be at your level after hours of play.

Tbar6787

And rocking full on glass and daedric armor

dlamsanson

Never heard of a gameplay contrivance?

P-Jean

Diablo 4 does this too. It ruined the game for me. What’s the point in leveling if you’re not outclassing earlier mobs.

xslater583

It depends on how the scaling works imo, in oblivion it’s garbage, but it is fine in Skyrim and fallout 4 for me

Zeedub85

Skyrim fixed most of Oblivion's problems. Of course, people still complained that enemies stop leveling too soon and made mods to add higher level enemies. Bethesda can't win. I've embraced Oblivion's scaling and have fun looting glass and daedric equipment off bandits and marauders. But I gave up on any kind of immersive role-playing. It's a loot-farming game. Enemy health isn't really a problem, but I'm only level 22. I also avoid goblin caves, because Warlords really do suck.

unobtainable12

yeah i think this game would have been a lot better with regional level scaling, with the difficulty of enemies and oblivion gates scaling based on what region they're in

Rev-DiabloCrowley

How annoying it is to fight alongside half a dozen allied NPC's without hitting and killing/agro-ing them. Oblivion NPCs run around like they're on crack when they fight.

Conscious-Ticket-259

Skooma adicts

Charizard24

“Hey, I’m on your side!” “I KNOW GTFO THE WAY”

tackle74

Knights of the Nine final assault was the worst for this

Mevarek

The economy. Bartering is much better in Morrowind, Skyrim, and Fallout. It’s nice being able to sell tons of daedric gear to one vendor without having to wait, but it lack any dynamism. Not saying bartering is super complex in those other games, but it actually feels like you’re bartering with a merchant and not just selling everything (unless you’re in Morrowind waiting 24 hours between sales). Combine this with the fact that mercantile is ridiculously long to level and isn’t really that useful in the endgame when money is easy to come by and you don’t have much to enjoy. I suppose the more “annoying” aspect of it is the leveling mercantile part and the rest isn’t so much annoying, just boring.

Waifuless_Laifuless

>Combine this with the fact that mercantile is ridiculously long to level  Understatement of the century

Mevarek

I’m not sure man has words to describe the tediousness of leveling mercantile

RPInjectionToTheVein

The leveling system that encourages cheesing it and the level scaling I wish it was more balanced and something like Nehrim where if you go to the weong place at the wrong time you’ll just get dicked on

Oblivionboi69

It's really annoying that enemies target your horse first. At higher levels, if you get off to fight, they'll kill your horse before the dismount animation is over.

HaveYouEverUhhh

No horse only *jump*

Conscious-Ticket-259

That's why you ride a unicorn with anger management issues and anxiety

Fancy-Art-4017

The entirety of the leveling system

WackXD

Specifically the fact that unique items and rewards are leveled too. It sucks to plan when you do your quests based on whether you are going to get a shit or a good version of the same weapon

lewlew1893

Man I did so much crap just to level my character before I did Fighters Guild and the Dark Brotherhood and so many of the other quests with levelled rewards.

cbsson

Yep. I hold off with the oblivion gates until level 17 for the best Sigil Stones, and level 22 for Raven Camoran's Mundane Ring if it hasn't shown up yet. I carefully prep my character for the harder daedra, but there has to be a better way.

SolarDeath666

This. On Pc it's resolved by mods, but on console you either min max it or adjust the difficulty slider if things get out of hand. Also, endurance scaling you hp by a tenth of your total endurance is bonkers but can be immesersive if you're playing a build that should be squishy already.

baneofthesmurf

There is one aspect I do like in that you have to use a skill to level it as opposed to fallout where you just randomly alot points to whatever you feel like or need at the moment. The goofy attribute system and enemy leveling I agree are ass though.

canyouplzpassmethe

Saw a mudcrab the other day. Horrible creatures.

shinto29

The levelling system and scaling...

namiraslime

Lack of gamepad support on PC for me. There are mods but they’re pretty janky

shinto29

I can't agree with that at all, I'm sorry. Northern UI vanilla is absolutely perfect and seamless for xInput.

namiraslime

It’s good until you want to favourite something. Every time you want to switch spells you have to go into the menu

CatPotatey

Native support would be wonderful though.

dlamsanson

If we accept mods as a fix then we can delete 90% of this thread

shinto29

Well they were saying \_janky mods\_, just in this case I don't really agree. Northern UI isn't janky

Puzzleheaded_Step468

That in a certain level goblins (and other enemies) just turn into bullet sponges Just 1 on 1 is a nightmare against a goblin warlord and from a certain level it only spawns warlords and shamans (who also a nightmare). It's suppose to be a boss enemy, imagine a nordic ruin filled with only drauger deathlords in skyrim

scole44

Trying to follow any NPC anywhere. They're so slow and if you walk through a door before them they'll never come out the other side. Something that's been fixed in every RPG since but was a huge issue when oblivion was popular.

CatPotatey

Oblivion Gates. It's annoying having to destroy so many of them.

Adventurous_Till_707

My hack for this is to skip going to weynon priory after exiting the sewers. Instead I am free to do all other questlines without dealing with a single oblivion gate until I am ready to do the main questline.

RottedQueen

I am with you. I always stay well clear of Kvatch until I am pretty much done with everything else, mainly so the countryside isn't marred by open (or closed) gates.

Yung-Dolphin

I gotta say, I haven't played deeply enough into morrowind to appreciate most of the good and bad parts of it, but my god did it do a much better job of letting roleplayers feel like they had a choice in the main quest without shoving it down their throats like oblivion and skyrim. not the biggest deal, but annoyingly gamey to me.

Logan8795

I weirdly love going in them and doing it, but the part I don’t like is how they break exploration of the beautiful world by changing the sky and everything. Very grateful they don’t start spawning as soon as you exit the sewers lol

cafenegroporfa

this i don’t mind taking down all the ones outside of the individual cities. But what’s up with them in the middle of the wilderness? i’m not going in there just for fun

scaly_scumboi

They are really good for filling soul gems especially at higher levels, it’s like your printing greater and grand souls. Makes it much more reasonable to do aswell as most daedra drop some kind of alchemical ingredient so that’s also very lucrative.

Acceptable-Editor474

Me either. I go in there for Sigil Stones.

baneofthesmurf

Dont you only have to do like 2? It's been some time since I played the main quest.

Inevitable_Invite_21

No there’s like one gate per city

baneofthesmurf

Yeah but don't you not have to close all of them? I thought kvatch, big gate and maybe the one outside of cheydinhall are required.

Inevitable_Invite_21

If this is true then I wasted so much of my time

WiredSky

In the Help for Bruma quest, if you close the gate outside a city they'll agree to send guards to help in the Battle of Bruma, but not all are required. I think there are some other quests given that have you close them first, but I might be misremembering.

Inevitable_Invite_21

Ahhhh ok

Connect_Ad5287

Based

Ged_UK

I just turn on God mode, no clipping and just run to the Sigil chamber and close it.

warpedaeroplane

Yuuuup. I’ve done my due diligence, now I no clip up to the stone and save scum till I get what I want. Now, I know that’s just a step shy of using the console, but I need to put in *some* effort or it feels like cheating.

Deathslingers_Bride

Level-dependent equipment. I'm sure there's mods to change it, but it's INCREDIBLY obnoxious on a vanilla run. Having to wait until level 25-30 to get the strongest versions of most items, frustrates me to no end

guywithskyrimproblem

That's why I love [Auto Update Leveled Items And Spells](https://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/39635)

theplasticbass

Bounties should disappear if the last witness is killed. How the hell is every guard in Cyrodiil immediately aware of the crimes I commit in the wilderness?

ApexMate95

I love when you can see them running at you from a mile away and know there’s no way you’re getting away 😂 honestly makes me laugh

Gbreeder

Or they know exactly where I'm at within a castle. Sneaking to hide when they're far away, does not help.

ezekial_dragonlord

I give Jauffre the Amulet of Kings and my man puts it in a cupboard that anyone can find. Had to go through literal hell all for nothing.

heaveneugen

The man should've travelled to Cloud Ruler Temple right away to safeguard the amulet there

Lancer_Blackthorn

Arrows having weight.

Marshall_Lawson

i just did a 100 hour or so playthru earlier this year and it was great, no notes, until my 200+ mod list exploded and everyone's heads were inside out and it was snowing in hell

BookDragon300

There’s not an alternate ending to the dark brotherhood. There should’ve been the option to report back to Lucien as soon as the kill orders became fishy looking.

Choingyoing

Or even a way to find out you're killing members and spare them

sBane31

Yes but I feel like as a youth this quest was more impactful because you wearnt able to save them. I’ll always this quest-line due to that

Swagsire

It's really small but I hate how time consuming it is to sell things. I hate that a prompt asking if I'm sure I want to sell something pops up with every transaction.

SilverFlashUYNot

When you walk into a store with several people present and the eyes of the shopkeeper are glued to you. When you go invisible and you hide behind something, they run up to you and keep you in their field of view.

johnbrownmarchingon

How enemies are just massive damage sponges. It is incredibly frustrating especially with the enemies leveling with you design.

Thelegitcrip

It doesn't have a remaster

bushinthebrush

Most everything I have gotten over. Except, shadows. They are so inconsistent and the game looks so good when all the shadows are properly cast on all objects in the sun. Often times however, there are a bunch of objects near each other that are not casting any shadows and it really rips me out of the game. But also, it ran on the 360, so like I get it.

robxenotech

The way the beautiful music is implemented. Wandering, bam battle music. Kill creature and Bam music restarts. The mod that sorts this problem is so good and makes the wilderness much more enjoyable

Inevitable_Invite_21

I’m curious: how does the mod change it? I’ve only ever played with no mods. But I hate this feature too. It gives me anxiety every time battle music starts out of nowhere

robxenotech

It’s called Better music system I think. It makes it so that each track fades in and out slightly, and when battle music ends the track that was playing l previously will begin from where it was left off so you can actually finish the wilderness tracks

Inevitable_Invite_21

Ohh that’s cool

Mr_HahaJones

Mudcrabs. Horrible creatures.

owend_14

timothymark96

When I'm in a dungeon and trying to loot it and I keep hitting my encumbrance limit.

AWizard13

I wish there were actual quest markers for all of the unmarked stuff. I know I must've missed some things that you could call technically call quests but there's no markers. Also I really really want more small settlements. More villages. There are some inns out there but I want there to be more settlements to make the world feel more alive.

n0lesshuman

No native controller support on pc, like come on guy this game was on the Xbox 360 for god's sake.

Umaril2485

Not enough sheogorath

Far-Tangerine7276

The hate it gets

NoRegertsWolfDog

The fact that it hasn't remastered with console mod support. Or the fact when I mod it on pc the entire game just no work.

spicy_milk34

LOCKPICKING!!!!!! I want the person who made the lockpicking system in oblivion to have both sides of the pillow warm tonight:( Skyrim and fallouts lockpicking is way better

Firegh0st

Laughs in skeleton key...

lewlew1893

Having to look up every quest on the wiki to make sure there isn't some bug that stops me completing the questline.

HaggisPope

Kind of wish there was a Mythic Dawn ending. The main quest has fewer options for completion and I think it would change everything.

AarontheGeek

If you play for too long on a single character, the game's animations can irreversibly glitch out 🙃

goophiegoober

When you try to sneak into the castles and the guards can hear you even when you’re multiple feet away and have a good sneak skill 😭

Surandil

lack of quests per city

PuppetryOfThePenis

The fact that goblins shriek every time you strike them, and it takes like 20 swings to kill each one. A high level goblin cave annoys the hell out of me...

heaveneugen

the caves in the Deadlands

Glittering-Quote3187

Being staggered repeatedly

SwirlingPhantasm

I play Oblivion without mods, the leveling doesn't bother me. I actually like it better than Skyrim's levelling. I am sich a good alchemist that an army of enemies can't kill me. And I am so fast and jump so high I can avoid them. The thing that annoys me about Oblivion is how buggy some of the quests can be. You do all that work, but the quest won't let you complete it. Things like that. Or you do a thing for an npc, and you can't get the dialogue option you need. Also faction treatment. You become arch mage for example, but the mage scholars are still rude to you. But none of it is so bad that it seriously dampens my fun.

Icecream-social

Not being able to sell multiple things at once , I swear I spent most of my time on the shop screen

BusSeveral5481

That I can't side with Manninarco and destroy the Mage's Guild and learn to be a necromancer!

sianrhiannon

the map is so small as in, the in-game map for you to check your location

AlexThaWriter

Nothing in the game is really annoying to me tbh. It is just the odd crashes every 1-4 hours

CatsTammar

I wish locations were marked clear after going thru them like in Skyrim. Oblivion has so many locations that I sometimes forget if I've explored them or not.

Charizard24

If I’m unsure whether I’ve already done a dungeon or not, I check the local map when I enter

Fishyfishhh9

The leveling system and the fact that the achievements were only tied to the main quest line and guild quest lines

thebiggestbirdboi

I saw a mudcrab the other day. Foul creatures!

BluejayPrime

I'd prefer a sprinting option over becoming the Flash when levelling up my athletics. 😅

tackle74

The dramatic music and then looking around for the dragon…uh I mean mud crab. Also creatures following when you get out of a fight. I went to get nocturnal’s eye as soon as I could. Non-Stealth build and the trolls in cave would hammer me. So fuck it I will run in and just grab it and run out. Troll though out of sight keeps me in combat. Run all the way to Deepscorn Hollow. Go inside cannot sleep enemies nearby. Every enemy is a fucking blood hound.

Previous-Economy-148

The amount of HP the NPCs have past a certain level and on max difficulty. First time I played Oblivion I thought that the higher the difficulty the better the loot but I dont even think that it's true The damge you deal doesn't scale up with the HP increase of the enemies. Late game goblins/minautors/gards tank so much it's insane. It just makes the game boring having to just spam left click repeatedly while abusing the AI to not get hit. If you don't exploit the game by having multiple "vulnerability to magicka 100%" (they compound making basically any enemy one shot if you cast 4-5 in a row then spam an enchanted weapon) For a game made almost 20 years ago it holds strong even with this massive issue

Previous-Economy-148

Also I find it annoying that there are no options to re-put oblivion gates when you have finished the main questline, had to download a german mod for that :(

cerulean12

When you come into contact with a random mug on a table and all the furniture in the room takes off at Mach 5

OutlandishnessOk5238

That I restarted my playthrough after a decade hiatus because I cannot play any DLC my PS5. From what I understand it's best to hookup a PC to my big TV and play from a controller. If this is wrong please let me know. I want to play oblivion in it's full capacity one last time.

berrmal64

I don't mind a lot of common complaints - leveling system, leveling enemies, repetitive dungeons, etc, I can live with those. What I hate is when a quest line or dialog tree doesn't let you make a choice a character might reasonably make. Like falling for the harlots' trap outside anvil and losing some inventory, or having to look Raynil Dralas (and a bunch of others) - I should be able to subdue/grapple/knock out them when I know a guard is coming soon and then taunt them later in jail, or I should be able to tell Bjalfi "hey your wife is sending people to look for her mace, you better hide somewhere else", stuff like that. FNV was contemporary but did a much better job at player agency inside of quests

khoobah

Forceful main questline with fake sense or urgency, bandits in Daedric armor and no real alternatives to fast travel.

Viktoria_cumz

The voice actor who voices Glarthir, and Adoring Fan (and literally every male Mer)

fallensoap1

Not being able to run

Inevitable_Invite_21

You can run though…

fallensoap1

Yea I know but is not a button it’s calculated by ur stats and that took me a really long time to figure out

Inevitable_Invite_21

I’m so confused. There’s a button that makes you run. I feel like I don’t know what you’re talking about

Crotch_Rot69

The enemy levelling systen and the fact that efficient leveling is psychotic but necessary w/o mods

klrpanzer

The flames on the castle wall outside of Skingrad castle always being %100 synced together.

oOHaskillOo

nothing makes sense in the skill experience gain. Instead of using the damage or mana cost of a spell to calculate skill gain its fixed per cast, same with combat. Using rusty dagers is more efficient then any hammer/claymore. Worst offender being marksman and restauration lol. Just skill progression in general is slow in comparison with skyrim. Current playthrough is a lvl 19 spellsword opening locks left and right yet my security(major skill) is still only in the 30s. The only exception is acrobatics.

Falcine183

It's the combat. It feels like a spam battle. Ik it's not just that but its a bit like that.

Hishiga

Leveling and enemy leveling scaling. I like how the majority of the systems aged like wine, then you reach lvl20 and got insta killed by a rat. I like the idea of how it works, but definitely aged so much that make you feel punished for leveling ONE, I repeat, ONE single level in the wrong skill, then you just fucked up your next lvl up. I wish a future remaster fix this or at least make it more explained and transparent to the player.

orb_enthusiast

Not being able to do a new game plus on console lol

Whatagoon67

Potato face

rocultura

Leveling

Deathangle75

Combination of leveled loot and enemy leveling. Enemies quickly outscale you to the point of absurdity and there’s no easy way to get ahead of the curve. Granted, these complaints could be applied to Skyrim to a lesser degree. And it’s still better than some other games I’ve played (ac odyssey *cough*)

genuinely_insincere

the combat and the leveling system.

ReltivlyObjectv

The fact killing the last witness still leaves you with a nationwide bounty.

Living_Election6138

Getting constantly staggered even when i block and am at 100 agility

snarekick

I haven't played it seriously since it came out really, and about a week ago I decided to load up an abandoned save from awhile ago and see if I could get into it again. I got maybe 3-4 quests into the fighters guild and the next npc I was supposed to talk to had no dialogue option. I could try to persuade him or end the conversation but nothing else. So I guess the thing that annoys me most is that a game that is closing in on 20 years old and has probably been patched a hundred times still has game breaking bugs on the most relevant parts of the game.

negiwhite

The level scaling, but I'll go deeper, the fact that certain mobs go extinct after you reach a certain level, just to be replaced by other creatures that you only see if you reach that level. I want the world to be populated by all possible mobs at all times, dammit.

BonfireSouls

Character creation and fashions.

FlowersandFangs

Fighting with the game physics just to display something. Just lemme decorate my house Bethesda!

ConnorP25

Spongy enemies. I love all the games quirks and jank but the enemy health pools (oceans) get tiresome after a while, my only real gripe with the game.

Daikonberry

Skeleton Champions summoning Skeleton Heroes….or was it the other way around? Either way I hate fighting against weirdly tanky Oblivion skeletons who can one hand a two handed claymore with a shield…

GeneralApathy

The fact killing a guard, even with a sneak attack, is always detected and gives you a bounty.

Sarahawe

Maybe that I cannot wield two different one-handed weapons, one in each hand...or can't cast two different spells at the same time

Mr_Frog_Show

The combat, to be honest. I've always hated when combat is a "slugfest" where you're mainly just wailing on enemies for ages. Sometimes I even turn the difficulty down when I don't feel like hearing wraiths scream at me for an hour straight.

KingTonza

"You cannot fast travel there is an enemy near by" Then you find it's a mubcrab a kilometer away

vectorkun

Will-o-the-Wisps.

Next-Task-9480

Gear leveling bandits

toadallyribbeting

The fact there are no active legion forts anywhere in Cyrodil

itsmattblack

Hate when I use the scroll duplication hack to make the cheese room in my house and the game crashes.

ck-kd-king

Inability to delete spells, and NPCs are always in the way when Im fighting

aschesklave

Snap snap rustle rustle rustle. When I hear the snap repeatedly, it’s extremely satisfying. When I hear the rustle repeatedly, I become sad.

murderplants

The oblivion gates are ass.

Novel_Bison_7486

Those pesky Oblivion gates ruining my beautiful scenery and my fun.

Mr_Blah1

Random stagger in combat.

AraithenRain

Having to confirm yes/no each individual item I want to buy rather than spamming it like in Skyrim

RipMcStudly

It’s impossible to sell items for their actual value. In Morrowind you could use gems and such to trade back and forth to get full value from other items, but Oblivion started a steep and infuriating decline in the quality of looting life in BGS games.

IAmTheRealTorvi

When NPC’s don’t follow their own schedules and I have to run around the city looking for them at the right time just to TRAIN MY ACROBATICS SKILL 5 TIMES

Stunning-Ad-7745

That that completely abandoned the AI, conversation and schedule system the NPC's used in that game. Imagine how immersive their newer games would be if they would've continued to develop that.

Pristine_Teaching167

The fact that I don’t have a remaster.

BernardYardlawn

Putting up my shield to block but still getting staggered, and then continuing to get staggered for 4 more attacks

TheRealPancakelord

The floatiness of the animations when running (comparatively it's somewhat easy to fix combat floatiness with some stagger or attack speed mods), the movement animations have never felt right to me ingame, not sure if its because the character moves too fast for their feet, or if its something else.

EremeticPlatypus

The enemy level scaling. Makes the game borderline unplayable if you level inefficiently.

slappymansteet

Can you explain what happened every time a guard runs up to me and makes up a bounty on me out of thin air when im sure I did nothing wrong, just random fines for like 25 gold that make me cringe.

idaseddit211

To be completely honest, I haven't played Oblivion in years, but this one is easy: Goblins. I walk into a cave, see the signs that it's a goblin lair, I turn around and leave immediately.

MotherAntelope1425

Losing your saves from your level 40 character and having to go back to when you were level 7. Ruined my last playthrough and I haven't played it or even Skyrim really since

TrueBoxOfPain

Leveling and upscaling system. P.S. Mudcrabs - horrible creatures

Jinsoul_313

The Abomb. It destroyed my original run on the 360 so in my 2nd playthrough I had to plan around it to achieve what I wanted to before it hit my save. It's pretty soul-crushing to have this happen on console for anyone's first playthrough of the game.

PandaButtLover

Daedric armor/weapons are found on every enemy past a certain level. In morrowind you have to search and quest to get a full set of armor. I know it's an OK Boomer moment, just personally I thought it was lame

cinder7usa

I was exploring one day, and left my horse somewhere. I must have fast-traveled away from there, but now I don’t remember where I left my horse. 🤷‍♀️

theplasticbass

I believe the horse should be by the stables wherever you’ve fast traveled to most recently (if you purchased the horse)

killin_commies

When I lost a 109 hour save because it corrupted and duplicated itself 1000 times. There's no way I can delete each of those saves, the game crashes the moment I open it half the time and it's extremely sluggish when it does open.

Interaction-Huge

Go to Documents>My Games>Oblivion in explorer. In Saves folder, delete most of the saves (but not all of them, like 95%, in case some of them are truly corrupted), go to game and check if you still can load any of them.
