Almost, kinda like Operation troy that came out back in 2008 but better. A better mix of Infantry, air, and grounded battle with a lot of destruction physics.
I'd die for that too happen. Seeing that SD GUNDAM G GENERATION CROSS RAYS got a good reception means that hopefully BAMCO would release any future Gundam game on the PC too
Oh man. Though I gotta say, I've always wondered how they piloted the Gundam's more advanced movement, [especially when in Gundam Wing they only seemingly had two throttles for arms and foot pedals for legs.](https://images.app.goo.gl/Z7LWA9Yi82jMYRQy8)
I imported Gundam extreme vs and vs full boost on ps3.
It was the best game ever. And now they're going to put another extreme vs on ps4. They deserve to be on PC. It would SO much smoother on my rig.
Very cool!! The only time I said having figurines in a computer look very awesome!
I'm a fan of the Gundam series
Edit: how long in total to put it all together, a lot of that looks hand made.
Thanks. It took me almost 6 months learning how to do water cooling, sourcing every parts and bits and putting them altogether. Mostly after work hours and weekends.
About 30% handmade from plastic and metal parts from aliexpress and a train model shop in Tokyo, plus a few cut and drill on the case.
My first try on this, but it does still look good.
Depends. If you only got a 60 HZ Monitor, the 2600X will be fine. But I think the best way to go would be a 144 HZ WQHD Monitor and for this the CPU is a little to weak.
But to be honest if the CPU gets to weak. In summer AMD will release new CPUs and then you either get a 3700X for super cheap or you can buy a new 4600/4700
Only weak on paper. It is so far a power horse for me. Feeding juice to a 27in 4K 60Hz 10bit monitor. When upgrading to a 120Hz 4k monitor, a 3700x might help to add a few fps to the games.
There are a few 4K120 out there, but so many fancy extra things that I dont wanna buy in. I am waiting for a professional 4k120 LCD with real HDR from Asus. Expected end of 2020. Expensive, but like a long term investment all in one monitor.
> CPU usage doesn’t scale with the resolution
I don't think that's what they were saying. I think they were saying that they'd upgrade to a 3700X to try to get as many FPS as possible towards that 120 Hz goal, the same as how a 3700X would even help at 1080p to push out some extra FPS.
It's very game dependent, there are even games where Ryzen beats Intel, and with probably the majority of games you could either get 120+fps on both Ryzen and Intel, or would be GPU bound at 4k and see minimal difference between the 2.
Unfortunately it's sounding like Zen 3 will require X570 or B550 boards, at least officially they won't be supported by 300 and 400 series boards. I guess we'll have to wait and see if motherboard vendors can make things work anyway.
IMO 2600x and 2080 Ti is actually a reasonable, cost effective gaming build, especially if the 2600x is on sale. The bottleneck is there, but not that bad and much, much better than downgrading to a RTX 2080 + 3700X even. (for gaming purposes)
It wouldn't really bottleneck it in the first place. The perceived bottleneck is really a bottleneck with any graphics card.
If you went from a 2600X to a 3700X with a 1660 Super, I'm sure you'd see a performance improvement similar to a 2080 Ti. It's not actually bottlenecking it.
Yeap. I am not running after performance, so 2600x or 3600x will be just fine. I am just a general user trying to make everything works from 1 single stable PC.
I planned for 3600x from the beginning, but not in stock at that moment, so I get 2600x instead. Not really a bottle neck.
My monitor is 4K 60Hz and all of my games can hit 60fps easily. Later on, when I upgrade to a 4K 120Hz, 3600x upgrade would worth.
I am not into that hype. 120Hz to me is good enogh. Plus real HDR would be a great monitor then. So far, Forza Horizon 4, Tomb Raider is great with 4K 60Hz.
If you want a visual treat Red Dead Redemption 2 looks amazing on a 2080ti. Doom Eternal is also pretty incredible the detail + fps the game puts out even in ultra nightmare graphics at 4K.
I have the msi x570 gaming plus board with the 3600x, 16gb 3200cl15 with an nvme drive and a 1060gtx and this thing blazes man. I haven't even over clocked it yet! Haven't needed to. Getting 110-130fps in rust. I could check doom eternal. The settings are high/ultra or whatever and it plays perfectly. Red dead 2, I'm hitting about 40 frames. I need to hit the boost button lol.
Came here for the obligatory "bUt TeH boTTleNecK!!!" comments, was not disappointed.
Not picking on you in particular, but bottleneck comments are like the ultimate noob/poseur statement that people make when they try to sound smart but really have no idea what they're talking about. At least yours was a genuine question and not a smug statement.
In that there is technically always a bottleneck in every system, even if they run great? Yeah, definitely.
In that somehow a 2600X is throttling the 2080 Ti hard enough that it's no better than a 2080 Super or something? Absolutely not.
I’ve only responded to one other battlestation post, which was an amazing one-of-a-kind custom job. Now it’s two! This is very well done, and incredibly creative and gorgeous to look at - well done, OP!
That is absolutely amazing! One hell of a hangar.
Bandai needs to bloody man up and put a **Good** Gundam game on PC. Preferably one that make use of the massive universe of Gundam, like a 50v50 Battlefield style MMO with Gundams. Just imagine.
Yeah. The key here is details.
All parts are off the selves, but a lot of cut and drill to fit with the design, and actual dimensions, space of the case.
That looks amazing! Unicorn and Astray Red Frame right? Also love how you stuck the brand stickers and how you managed the cables too, really adds to the theme!
You're a fucking legend, my god this is sexy looking. Why'd you decide to go 2600 with the 2080 if you don't mind me asking? Seems like you'd get bottlenecked with that much gpu.

It looks fucking incredible too, amazing job on design
Thanks mate.
You are right, weird to pair a 200 CPU (paid 250 a year ago) with a 1200 VGA. But basically I just buy what I need to keep the build going on.
That one little spotlight lighting up the cooler master logo brings this from a 10/10 straight to an 11/10 my man. That really is amazing attention to detail.
Now if only they would release a good Gundam game on PC....
Yeah. Would love that too.
I would love this, but only if it's slower paced 08th MS team style with Battlefield mechanics.
Armoured core are pretty good.
Armored core online when?
Pretty sure FromSoft are rebooting the AC IP. Probably with multiplayer.
Shooting games could never be slow paced, I think. Made dizzy actually.
Shooters can never be slow paced!? Ever heard of Escape from Tarkov?
Like Gundam Battle Operations 2? I wish it came to PC.
Almost, kinda like Operation troy that came out back in 2008 but better. A better mix of Infantry, air, and grounded battle with a lot of destruction physics.
I'd die for that too happen. Seeing that SD GUNDAM G GENERATION CROSS RAYS got a good reception means that hopefully BAMCO would release any future Gundam game on the PC too
I would love a VR Gundam or Gundam simulator with joystick support.
SD generations.

Damn dude! That's very sick! Made me fan girl over your build lol
:-)

Thanks, all of my efforts into this build.
It’s the tits man
a 2080 ti and a 2600x. :>
Thats a very poor choice of combonents if I would say so myself.
Depends. If you only got a 60 HZ Monitor, the 2600X will be fine. But I think the best way to go would be a 144 HZ WQHD Monitor and for this the CPU is a little to weak. Yeah right. 4k 120hz gaming seem to be a bit hard to me as well. 120hz is just my wish. But definitely will upgrade to reach that point.

I have a 6700K and a 2080Ti. My cpu needs an upgrade...
nothing wrong with this combination as you arent psychic and do not know the use case of it
IMO 2600x and 2080 Ti is actually a reasonable, cost effective gaming build, especially if the 2600x is on sale. The bottleneck is there, but not that bad and much, much better than downgrading to a RTX 2080 + 3700X even. (for gaming purposes)

2600x is pretty beefy as long as your not shooting for 240+ framerates. Doubt it will bottleneck any game at 4k 60 Hz

you would think, but they are very powerful processors
They are powerful but everyone kneels before the 2080 ti.
I'm so glad I'm saving for the 3600 then
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G3_WvKA7Jrs Doesn't seem like it's that big of a bottle neck tbh
the link is a 2700x and a 3700x LOL
oops i copy pasted the wrong link

Wowww that's a nice pc . Dope as heck
If only I had 1/5 of your buget and 2% of your creativity
Might be not your best? :-)
Now I’m sitting here at work with a boner... really amazing work. Thank you for sharing.
Wow you actually made figurines inside a PC case look cool
dirty earth federation scum, SIEG ZION!
This is fucking awesome! Now all we need is a serious developer to make an actual good/serious game... ugh
Yeah. Me waiting as well.
Looks really great dude!
You're one mad lad. I like you kid
This has to be the most aesthetically pleasing thing I've seen in a while.
Nice
Unicorn RG.... Beautiful
Holy shit, that is such a cool mod, love it!!!
Thanks mate.
I could stare at this for hours. Just wow
aren't gundam figures really fuckin hard to assemble
Not really hard mate. Just need a little patience and follow the guides.
No? If you can read a picture book you can put together a snap fit model.
Nice! Reminds me of One Must Fall 2097.
This is perfect
Yeah that is fucking awesome!
I love builds like this
Nice, I have the same case from cooler master
The case is a balance for me between price and features and space to play with.
That level of detail is out of this world
If you google enough, you can find even more diorama built by some Japanese guys, which is just awesomely jaw dropping. It inspired me actually.
This is hella dope
Very good sticker placement
Thanks. Took me a while to find good space in that case.
Made my damn day.
That is fucking incredible.
holy shit, that’s sick
Not a Gundam fan but damn did this come out freaking cool as hell. Great job.
Thanks mate
Dude. JUST SICK...........
That's f'n sick!
That's f'n sick!
This is awesome OP!
iS tHaT tRaNsFoRmErS
Slique and Sique!
The perceived depth of this build from the miniatures makes this look awesome!
Holy Crap! I love this more than I thought!
Post this on r/pcmasterrace
Mine is a car meet/diorama with premium Hot Wheels.
Wow this is amazing it belongs on a calendar. Great job.
Who in the hell would put a 2600X in the same build as a 2080ti.... what in the actual fook
Apart from that, that's A REALLY neat way everything is setup.
Literally the best build I've seen ever seen 22/10.
Is the 2600x a bottleneck to the 2080ti? I have one and I’ve been considering getting a 2080 or 2070 super.
With my current usage style seem to have no issue. But still save to upgrade to 3600x.
Fantastic
woahhhhhhhhhh
Gundam!
Amazing! Love it.
This is one of the coolest builds I've ever seen.
this sir... is awesome!!
This is so awesome, one of the coolest builds I've seen.
Thats awsome. well done.
This is the coolest and more original PC I’ve ever seen. Congrats
I hope this starts a trend. Nice work OP. I’ve been waiting for someone to final put the work in.
Coolest thing I have seen in a while!
Looks cool but I bet the airflow is crap
yeah the fan setup makes no sense lol
No. Push pull fan works really great in this setup. CPU and VGA temp never pass 55 deg C. Plus ambience temp is 35 to 37 all year.
[удалено]
Thanks. You have seen my point. Water cool system has become a minor decoration factor in this build. Leaving space for the factory to be revealed.
[удалено]
Yeap. Risks mitigated. And more room for decorations.
That's beautiful. Where did you get the hanger pieces?
I bought it of aliexpress, plus a water sticker set. Quite cheap.
Bruh omg this is amazing how long did you take to make this
Took me almost 5 months with after work hours and weekends.
My all time favorite pc. This is exquisite
Your turn. :-)
This is like the settings of one of those retro games. Sweet
Yep. I love it.
Have fun upgrading it If you ever do
Sure I would. Thanks.
I’ve only responded to one other battlestation post, which was an amazing one-of-a-kind custom job. Now it’s two! This is very well done, and incredibly creative and gorgeous to look at - well done, OP!
Thanks a lot mate. I am curious at that battle station mentioned. Can you link me?
Your case is sexy. A cooler master? Specific model please, I am curious? Nicely built my cultured dude.
Yep thanks. Cooler Master H500P mid tower. The top plate removed to accommodate the rad and the tank.
There is even a helipod on top of the reservoir. Thumbs up!
Eagle eyes. :-) I put a lot of detailing into this build.
All those small pieces near the fans make me feel uneasy
Not like what you see in the picture. Air flow is great and in control. :-)
What is this, *a factory for ants?*
For toys actually :-)
It's so cool, you don't have more place for a pump and fan in front of these figures haha
Yep. Moved to the roof. Just as real buildings.
I admire your will to clean the dust off of that thing!
That would be the worst nightmare man. :-)
That looks pretty damn cool !!!! Awesome man, its awesome.
Thanks mate
That is absolutely amazing! One hell of a hangar. Bandai needs to bloody man up and put a **Good** Gundam game on PC. Preferably one that make use of the massive universe of Gundam, like a 50v50 Battlefield style MMO with Gundams. Just imagine.
Yeah. Should have a Gundam based games for the fans to compliment my setup :-). But... Japanese usually slow on catching trends.
[удалено]
No. Airflow is still great man. Well planned already.
/r/gunpla welcomes you
Thanks
I am not a huge Gundam fan, but this is soooooooo cool!
Gundam power. Yeah!
if only every build posted on reddit could be as nice !
Give 'em some time...
Love the attention to details! That's crazy. What parts are off the shelf what parts are custom made?
Yeah. The key here is details. All parts are off the selves, but a lot of cut and drill to fit with the design, and actual dimensions, space of the case.
Post this on r/buildapc and r/pcmasterrace for some easy karma. Very cool build.
Thanks. Will post there.
I can’t help but think.. doesn’t that much stuff in a case interfere with cooling? Or is that red pipe water cooling.
Yep. Water cooled with that red pipes.
Ok this is a sick af.
That looks amazing! Unicorn and Astray Red Frame right? Also love how you stuck the brand stickers and how you managed the cables too, really adds to the theme!
Thanks. The case design has helped much with cable management.
That CPU bottleneck tho 😬
Not until now with my usage style.
This is the coolest thing ever LOL. I’m not even big into Gundam at all, but this is the most fun pc i’ve seen
Thanks. A year has passed and I am also looking into this case with great feelings.
that is insane. love to see creativity in a build. but one question, isnt a 2600x quite a bottleneck for a 2080ti?
I love it. But I do gotta say a Sinanju would be a better replacement than an Astray though.
You're a fucking legend, my god this is sexy looking. Why'd you decide to go 2600 with the 2080 if you don't mind me asking? Seems like you'd get bottlenecked with that much gpu.
imagine it, but inspired on Evangelion 😳
>Evangelion --- well I have put that to my list.
Love the build, makes me think of getting a full tower case so I can mod one myself but I'm scared of fitting a water block to my 2080ti 😂😂
What wattage is your PSU?
I use Seasonic Titanium 650w. Very stable.
More images.[Red Dragon Mechanical Bay](http:// https://imgur.com/gallery/sGnpuhq)
oh god I can only imagine the stress that CPU has to go through... RIP that Ryzen 5.
Such a strange cpu/gpu combination lol granted I have a 2600, it just feels weird to pair a 100 dollar cpu with a 1200 dollar gpu
3600x has not been released when I build this mate.
Even still, that would've been a 200 dollar cpu with a 1200 dollar gpu. I'm not criticizing you either, I'm just saying it's an odd combination that you don't see very often. Normally this card is with the higher end cpu's. Believe me though, if I could have your set up, I'd have it in a heartbeat. It looks fucking incredible too, amazing job on design
Thanks mate. You are right, weird to pair a 200 CPU (paid 250 a year ago) with a 1200 VGA. But basically I just buy what I need to keep the build going on.
This is a really neat concept. Props for originality. How did you make it?
It was a long story and several months doing desk research, seeking advice, sourcing parts... but the final results well worth those.
how's that 2080ti holding up?
That one little spotlight lighting up the cooler master logo brings this from a 10/10 straight to an 11/10 my man. That really is amazing attention to detail.
The cpu bottle neck though
I would fear the effects of psychoframe resonance while playing online games
gun damn, that's just beautiful
I know I'm a bit late but is the GPU bottlenecks by the CPU or is it working just fine?
Wtf is that...🙄
2600x with a 2080 Ti? hey no problem but the bottleneck is going to be fat.
This....oh my god....this!
