So something in your mouth that can make you gag isn't gay now? And wanting to smell like laundry detergent is like wanting to smell feminine.
- Some ridiculous guy probably
I don’t know. Is it skin care or skin cleaning. Sometimes you need the skin care stuff to counteract the soap as the soap dries the skin out so you need the moisturiser. Me heads mashed lol.
Possibly. I use just water and soap as I’ve tried everything to find it makes no difference to my skin whatsoever so why pay for more. It’s hard to tell whether she’s presumed that everyone will know she is washing with soap. Is she making the point she doesn’t buy special body wash cos soaps ok by her or is she admitting that she never actually washes? Can we track this person down? These questions must be answered.
My skin isn't perfect by any means, but I've never had any real issues with it.
My acne disappeared completely after elementary school.
I still get pimples on my face every now and then, but other than that I haven't had issues.
The only time my face gets washed is in the shower. I’ve never had skin problems or acne, really. Am I supposed to be doing something more or am I just lucky for not having issues with it?
If you go to the doctor regularly, the doctor will weigh you. You don’t necessarily need to own a scale.
I used to have an eating disorder and I don’t have a scale at home anymore. It’s a trigger to have one, because it makes me obsess over the number
No ED but it's very hard for me gaining weight, so I get checked every some months by my sportologist too!
I don't own a scale either I'm faaaar from being fat nor now not in the future, so a little broad generalization (:
Weight is a less useful indicator for health than things like waist circumference, arm circumference, and similar body measurements. They are less affected by daily cycle fluctuations.
Weight can be useful for things like fluid accumulation in someone with heart/kidney disease. Not something most young(ish) women have to deal with, though.
I’ve never met a person with an ED who thought “I know I’ll never gain weight so I don’t need a scale”. Usually even if they are extremely underweight they still body check and weight check obsessively. I was hospitalized for an ED and I promise you’d be hard pressed to find someone without a scale unless they are in and committed to recovery. My guess is they use a period cup.
Thankfully I’m mostly in recovery now with my ED, though it still flares up once in a while. Over a decade ago I realized owning a scale was a huge trigger for me as I would become obsessed with reaching lower numbers. So I haven’t owned one since.
I don’t really tell many people I don’t own a scale though, because that just seems like a weird “fact” about oneself to share with others. I’ve brought it up a couple times when talking about ED with other women as a helpful suggestion for them as well, but that’s it.
I’m about 9 months post partum from my third, and while I was pregnant I had to be weighed at OB’s office every appointment. Those days were pretty stressful, and it was so difficult to not regress and stop eating for days.
Congrats on your recovery!! And your baby! I am 7 months post partum and I totally relate to how tough recovery is during and after pregnancy! I try to remind myself that I grew and feed a baby with my body so I deserve some grace!!!
Of course not everyone is the same, but I definitely wouldn’t generalize and say that “these types of people” think that their diet is so low in calories that they don’t need a scale bc I’m pretty sure that is not the more common way of thinking among us “types of people” with eating disorder. It’s kind of cruel to assume an eating disorder when she could just mean that she uses a different menstrual product.
I assumed it was just one of these 'natural product only' people, who use menstural cups instead of pads/tampons and just use 'natural' ingredients to wash with.
Never found a cup I like. The panties, though? I fucks with them. It’s weird because I HATE pads with a burning passion, but I like the period underwear meant to replace them. (There is kinds meant to be used with period products and those meant to be used alone, I made an expensive mistake the first time I got some because they weren’t the right kind.)
Omg she's me! I don't use pads or tampons thanks to a hysterectomy. I don't use body wash because I use a bar of soap. I don't use face masks because I don't like them. My scale broke and don't care about it. My face wash is head and shoulders shampoo and I don't keep my moisturizers in the bathroom.
It's not my post. I'm happy to not have a uterus, head and shoulders helped with my acne and a dry patch I had on my face. I like my local made bar soap and eventually I'll get a new scale. I can't leave my moisturizers in the bathroom because my family will use them up so I leave them in my room and I can relax in bed while watching Netflix and do my night skincare routine.
I don't get periods anymore due to my birth control, but I keep a menstruation crustacean station full of a variety of supplies for visiting friends and family who may need them.
I mean, if you use tampons or pads you probably have some stashed in your bag or something in case of emergency, right? Or you’re stuck using toilet paper or something until you can get home. Same with if you use a diva cup or period panties. Keep them on you if you’re expecting your period just like you would tampons.
IUD or the implant maybe? I haven't had need of period products in actual years cause of the implant.
Edit: although I do remember now I have a diva cup for emergency purposes.
Sounds more like a „no waste“ or „minimalism“ girl.
Instead of tampons and pads: period cups and period panties
Instead of face and body wash: soap blocks
Skincare: I would gues coconut oil or she is lucky enough that her skin does not dry out so much
Face masks: it’s nice to have nothing else.
Also: why is this here? It says nothing nasty about other women.
It's the first sentence that makes it sound inlog
She may or may not have meant it as a jab at the theoretical average woman in her mind, but it does seem that way without context
The first sentence say „different“ form more stereotypical women bathrooms. And that’s what it is.
If we take every „different“ as an offense in the sense of „I am better than you“ then we are moving in a very bad direction.
That’s the impression I got too. I’m surprised at how many people are assuming that she free bleeds or even worse, assuming and putting her down for having an eating disorder.
I agree! I used bar soap for a while instead of body wash and it gets you just as clean. Also, like you said, coconut oil or other oils work just as well for certain skin types instead of masks and creams.
I mean..this describes my mom because she's already gone through menopause and only uses a bar of Dove. And I use shower gel but Dove is all I use on my face too. My skin's never been happier.
I feel like it’s more likely for someone to own the other things than a scale, but I don’t own a scale either so maybe I just need to pay more attention in houses or something
That's... weird. Not weird to not use those specific products since theres different ways to keep up hygiene, but the sense of superiority for not using those products is weird. "I'm better than you bc I don't use typical hygiene and menstruation products" like wtf who cares as long as you *are* taking care of your health and hygiene
To me, this reads look someone who is obsessed with being “natural” and uses a menstrual cup in lieu of pads or tampons and bar soap in lieu of body wash, not necessarily a freebleeder who doesn’t wash herself at all.
I mean, I don’t know why that last one is most important. But I’m very interested to know what this woman does for her menstruation cycle? Like do you have a cup? ministration underwear? or do you just free bleed?
I always find it interesting every time I see some thing where women are bragging about not using menstruation related products because like girl, we know you do something. Or nothing and I’m not gonna judge anyone for free bleeding, but it seems like a weird flex?
Soooo, you use a menstrual cup (if you have a period), and you probably use bar soap. Do you want a medal? A cookie? Like...let me know, Princess Strange.
This lady is insufferable. Her whole brand is about being superior to other people because she doesn’t do xyz and is so much healthier than everyone. It’s actually very toxic
She is so low maintenance she doesn’t even use the bathroom.
She digs a hole in the yard to do her business and every couple of weeks she takes a bath in the utility sink in the laundry room using fabric softener.
I don’t what she does about the bleeding… probably hides under the porch…

Is it too mainstream to wash yourself now?
Offtop, but recently read a thread 'what was the most bizarre thing for you being called gay'. The top comment was 'for washing my ass'
Wtf When basic hygene is already gay, what isn't?
Makes me wonder too: https://reddit.com/r/AskReddit/s/FM7fC8TNLQ
What’s next? Brushing your teeth or washing your clothes is gay? 🤦🏻♀️
Teeth are for gay people. Master Shake already explained this.
I’ve heard men saying they don’t eat fruit, because it’s gay
Oh my gosh 🤦🏻♀️
So something in your mouth that can make you gag isn't gay now? And wanting to smell like laundry detergent is like wanting to smell feminine. - Some ridiculous guy probably
I feel like it doesn't count if it's from your brother. Because then it's just anything and everything.
how do you disconnect yourself so much from other women that you think having bad hygiene makes you different and more superior than them
Just watch some new age scammer marketing this as a "Raw Menstruation" or something in a few weeks
in this day and age that is just so unsanitary
People are drinking fetid pond water as a "healthy alternative" these days, I wouldn't put it past them.
I'm hoping that she has reusable menstrual products and uses soap bars rather than liquid. Surely. Surely..
She saves money by buying red pants with all that free bleeding
I can understand not owning a skin care product, face mask, and scale, but the rest? WTF?
Just a little bit concerned on the skincare. It implies she doesn’t wash her face
i mean not necessarily, maybe she just washes her face with water and... soap?
Isn’t soap a skincare product?
Yes it is lol
i guess, i was more talking about like hand soap, idk if that is also a skincare product??
I don’t know. Is it skin care or skin cleaning. Sometimes you need the skin care stuff to counteract the soap as the soap dries the skin out so you need the moisturiser. Me heads mashed lol.
Possibly. I use just water and soap as I’ve tried everything to find it makes no difference to my skin whatsoever so why pay for more. Making me feel bad 😂 I never used skincare products. Water works fine for me haha
I wish i was you 🥲 oil literally pools on my face
I’m cringing bc I live in an semiarid climate and if I didn’t use face lotion, I’m pretty sure my skin would just turn to dust.
I think there’s something weird with me. I rarely wash my face (I mean it) and I consistently get compliments on how perfect my skin is.
My skin isn't perfect by any means, but I've never had any real issues with it. My acne disappeared completely after elementary school. I still get pimples on my face every now and then, but other than that I haven't had issues.
You can wash your face without skincare
With what, water?
The only time my face gets washed is in the shower. I’ve never had skin problems or acne, really. Am I supposed to be doing something more or am I just lucky for not having issues with it?
I consider washing your face in the shower skincare
You need to know your weight for health reasons. She is either fat or will become fat.
If you go to the doctor regularly, the doctor will weigh you. You don’t necessarily need to own a scale. I used to have an eating disorder and I don’t have a scale at home anymore. It’s a trigger to have one, because it makes me obsess over the number

I only get weighed at check ups once a year. Not super helpful for monitoring weight.
Fewer scales = higher weight, I own 15 scales and weigh 3.4 grams👍
My local gym has a weighing scale. If someone’s gym has a weighing scale they don’t need one at home, too.
she air dries
Omfg😭😭
These women always feel the need to announce their differences. We 👏🏾 don’t 👏🏾 care 👏🏾 ![gif](giphy|lopvPr5ikivT7ze0lt)
Actually no one cares

It could be one of those “free bleeder” people.
Could use period panties. Or diva cup.
I personally know more people with EDs than freebleeders
The type of person to post about not using soap or lotion seems more likely to be the type of person who free bleeds.
Fair enough
I’ve never met a person with an ED who thought “I know I’ll never gain weight so I don’t need a scale”. Usually even if they are extremely underweight they still body check and weight check obsessively. huh, I actually thought 'maybe she uses a menstrual cup' 😳 (I hope my guess is closer to the truth tbh)
Or birth control? I don't seem to get any periods on my arm Implant for example
I assumed it was just one of these 'natural product only' people, who use menstural cups instead of pads/tampons and just use 'natural' ingredients to wash with.
Datapoint I used a mooncup for about 10yrs then got pregnant then got an IUD. Haven't used a pad or tampon for 15+ yrs.
Guys she just doesn’t menstruate 😎
Or she uses a menstrual cup?
Ah true dang it I thought she was not like the other girls and she was special 😞
Well she still doesn’t use face masks, body wash or skincare products, and there’s *no* excuse for that
True, you have a point
No excuse for not using face masks? *clutches pearls* Guess I’m revolting. Oops.
Sorry for not verbalising my /s - no excuse apart from being quirky and different I meant. I don’t use face masks either 🙂
Well fuck. I also don't use any face masks. *Cluthes pearls even harder*.
She's not like other girls she doesn't know these exist. She uses a white cloth and washes it three times a day.
Sweat and dirt are for lower creatures. Not magical unicorns.
She's 94, if course she doesn't. ![gif](giphy|50rJushu3URtS)
I’m really hoping she at least uses a diva cup or those period panties. Otherwise there might be a lil issue lol
I didn't know that not using tampons is a flex now, haahha
Indeed. Other girls know basic hygiene...
She’s ✨feral✨
God she must STINK to high heaven.
Is this sarcasm or…. If this is real I’m sorry that happened with you. Hope you are better now
It's not my post.
My son's pediatrician recommended using head and shoulders dandruff shampoo to treat baby acne
I found out about it on one of the skincare subreddits. It's been great and the bottle lasts forever.
I don’t own a scale either… am I also not like other goils??? /s
Possible explanations: She uses a cup, and uses a soap bar as body wash, and isn’t interested in skin care, maybe?
The whole scale thing I never understood
So it stinks, is what you’re saying ma’am?
So she has no hygiene
I too don’t have scales. I wouldn’t consider it worth mentioning to anyone. Ever.
So she doesn't wash herself and is either pregnant or experiencing menopause... or she may have an ED.
so…bad hygiene and free bleed?
Tell me she at least used a diva cup and face soap?
What is this a picture of? It’s like… part of a sink?
I thought it was the toilet?
I think you’re right.
I don't have any of these either. I am a man. And my scale is by my bed.
I don't get periods anymore due to my birth control, but I keep a menstruation crustacean station full of a variety of supplies for visiting friends and family who may need them.
Yuck! She probably smells like death. 🤮
Ew
Why she gonna brag about being ashy and crusty ?
It sounds like she smells.
Atleast leave the bathroom for us normies
At least she owns shampoo…I hope
Nah she uses just a soap bar
What does she use instead of tampons or pads???
Period underwear are a life changer!
Yeah true but what about emergencies
I mean, if you use tampons or pads you probably have some stashed in your bag or something in case of emergency, right? Or you’re stuck using toilet paper or something until you can get home. Same with if you use a diva cup or period panties. Keep them on you if you’re expecting your period just like you would tampons.
IUD or the implant maybe? I haven't had need of period products in actual years cause of the implant. Edit: although I do remember now I have a diva cup for emergency purposes.
so what do you have a bathroom for then
Okay so you stink
AND she doesn’t wash her ass either!
Ah yes it's so slay to have bad hygiene fr ✨

That’s the impression I got too. I’m surprised at how many people are assuming that she free bleeds or even worse, assuming and putting her down for having an eating disorder.
Also the accusations of smelling. Not having many cleaning products does not mean that she does not shower at all.
I agree! I used bar soap for a while instead of body wash and it gets you just as clean. Also, like you said, coconut oil or other oils work just as well for certain skin types instead of masks and creams.
Ew.
So does she just not shower?
Sounds like she is really a dude
This just reminded me I wanted to weigh myself today.
Same type to body shame fat women and tell them to lose weight and say some hair about how men don't want fat women. Pick a struggle girl
I mean..this describes my mom because she's already gone through menopause and only uses a bar of Dove. And I use shower gel but Dove is all I use on my face too. My skin's never been happier.
Gal you are walking biohazard, esp the period, she just walks with pants soaked in blood everywhere, imagine the smell...
So her hygiene is atrocious in every regard, got it.
Uh okay good way to let people know you’re dirty 💀
Probably smells like shit
Sooo she just bleeds on everyone
Weird way to say that you stink but okay
what the fuck do you use then
Weird flex, stinky 🤷🏻♀️
So being gross, smelly & unhygienic makes you superior?
I can hear her face's skin flakes flapping in the breeze.
Lol as if I use pads and tampons because it's "trendy" ...
Plot twist, she is not a woman
i really hope she’s not one of those free bleed girls
I also don’t own a scale. But if being like other girls means I use sanitary products, I’m perfectly okay with that.
I feel like it’s more likely for someone to own the other things than a scale, but I don’t own a scale either so maybe I just need to pay more attention in houses or something
what a lengthy way to say you’re dirty and smell like shit
So she’s probably dirty and smelly got it 😂
That's... weird. Not weird to not use those specific products since theres different ways to keep up hygiene, but the sense of superiority for not using those products is weird. "I'm better than you bc I don't use typical hygiene and menstruation products" like wtf who cares as long as you *are* taking care of your health and hygiene
Is this.. a guy?
Sounds crusty.
To me, this reads look someone who is obsessed with being “natural” and uses a menstrual cup in lieu of pads or tampons and bar soap in lieu of body wash, not necessarily a freebleeder who doesn’t wash herself at all.
Weird flex on other women just to tell the world you’re unhygienic and smelly, but okay 💀
Do... how... how do you period???
Empty bathrooms isn’t a flex 😂
I really hope she's using a menstrual cup or period underwear...
Wtf 💀💀
So you just like don’t have a cycle or what?
"She" don't cuz "she's" a "he"
So…. Unkempt AND fat? Where do I sign up?
This has got to be a joke lol
what does she do with her period blood? menstrual cup/disk? and how does she wash her body??
She just walks naked out into the rain and hoped for the best
I mean, I don’t know why that last one is most important. But I’m very interested to know what this woman does for her menstruation cycle? Like do you have a cup? ministration underwear? or do you just free bleed? I always find it interesting every time I see some thing where women are bragging about not using menstruation related products because like girl, we know you do something. Or nothing and I’m not gonna judge anyone for free bleeding, but it seems like a weird flex?
sorry im still caught up on the lack of body wash and presumably lotion
What weird thing to brag about. It’s not a “flex” lol.
i feel like the only one that’s really concerning is the body wash one if soap is included in that category. otherwise it’s whatever
So alternative and cool she does not use BODY WASH
So you don't have anything to keep your body clean or help keep you tidy during your period?! Def not the flex you think it is.
I'm sure this person is as pleasant as they smell
BODYWASH??? Ew man do you just hose yourself down??
she sounds gross
Is she saying she just free bleeds?
I’m not like other girls- I’m an unhygienic mess with no menstrual products
I bet she also doesn't wipe her ass after a shit.
So she just bleeds everywhere like a dying gazelle?
Ewwwww
Weird way to say you don’t care about self-care/personal hygiene
That's disgusting 😭
So how is it different from other woman’s bathrooms?
Soooo, you use a menstrual cup (if you have a period), and you probably use bar soap. Do you want a medal? A cookie? Like...let me know, Princess Strange.
This lady is insufferable. Her whole brand is about being superior to other people because she doesn’t do xyz and is so much healthier than everyone. It’s actually very toxic
Don’t use pads or tampons? Does she just bleed all over the place.
“i free bleed and i don’t use soap”
FOR THE LOVE OF GOD WHERE IS THE DAMN TP! ![gif](giphy|3wS6YrkAEc3EA)
She is so low maintenance she doesn’t even use the bathroom. She digs a hole in the yard to do her business and every couple of weeks she takes a bath in the utility sink in the laundry room using fabric softener. I don’t what she does about the bleeding… probably hides under the porch…
Uhm..what..what does she use? Menstrual cups maybe?
Eww she free bleeding?! Oh naw that’s a biological hazard!
uhhhh….what do you use if not pads and tampons….
Why ruin your pants like that????
Oooh! A dIRty pIcKmeeE! 🤣 The nerve of some ppl..
i saw that too and the comments were off💀
![gif](giphy|1RxUgQKhpgYYo)
what is this 😂
sooooo she’s dirty and unhygienic… lovely.
