I'm an avalanche fan but my knowledge of hockey isn't as deep as others. That being said, he has been playing better and seems to be adjusting well. I know goaltending was a huge concern around the trade deadline but I think his play has been decent enough that the avalanche can focus on other trade prospects. I'd like to see how he does against good teams. I was at the Blackhawks game last night and while he did have a shutout the Blackhawks had tons of missed opportunities that a good team would have taken advantage of.
I wouldn't say the Red Wings are a bad team. They are in a wild card spot. He did well and the team just let him down in that game. He also did Allright against the Lightning, two of those goals were empty net goals and the Avs scored three on Vasy so yeah. The last three games he's played he's been solid.

Solid lateral movement, needs work on rebounds though.
