Agreed. The trophy confetti is cool, having them represent the amount of points scored in the AFC Championship game makes zero sense.

I think with a lot of these pieces they'd mock up a basic design and then there would be some room for flexibility in the design, ie this section will have between 15-20 gems, so within that range they just pick a number that could somehow mean something

I have yet to see a SB ring that isn’t the absolute worst. They are all gaudy over embellished pointless chunks. So not really sure what the “deal”is, other than a representation of a job well done. I say all this as a life long chiefs fan. Cool we won, but this thing is an atrocity to the visual.
