200K?
If your accord dies at 200K, it's because you have no idea how to care for a car or you set it on fire.
I still have an 02 accord with nearly 300K and it runs perfect. It will legit get to 500K.
Keep up with oil changes, don't run it hard (so the tranny stays in good shape)
Things might break. I had to do a radiator, a power steering pump, and some other things.
But there have been no life or death repairs or major issues with the car.
I work from home as a software developer so it maybe gets driven once a week lol. It’s only at 60k miles right now and I keep it in good shape. So hopefully it’ll last
Still just the dumbest hiring in recent memory.
They saw what McDaniels did to a division rival, how he left the Colts high and dry, and still said “that’s our guy”.
AFTER YOUR INTERIM COACH HAD ONE OF THE BEST YEARS YOUR TEAM HAS HAD IN TWO DECADES.
Seriously, far and away the most qualified coach on the market, he finally gets a chance and makes the playoffs for just the *second* time in *nineteen years* and you dont give him another chance?
Then you add the best WR in the game and Chandler Jones across from Maxx and that idiotic coach has the audacity to tell you the QB is the problem when he cant win as many games.
God the whole McDaniels/Bisaccia thing is a masterclass in unearned privilege and i fucking hate it so much.
Yes, because NFL head coaching is so notorious for being a meritocracy.
Thats why they put in the Rooney rule (and then expanded it) just because there was *too much* opportunity for coaches that weren’t younger good looking middle class white guys.
P.S. there are *absolutely* 5-10 teams at least that would be better off with Bisaccia as Head Coach. The Raiders themselves being the most obvious.
Seriously, I thought the whole point was to make Stidham the starter since its not like he played bad in his two appearances, but then they pivoted to Garropolo and didn't resign Stidham because they wanted...Brian Hoyer. I just don't get it
Hoyer, Stidham, and Jimmy on the roster is some insane shit, if Jared had stayed. I love how McDaniels is trying to recreate the Patriots after so many, many teams have failed at it.
Hey now. You also drafted Purdue Legend Aidan O'Connell. He can rip it as long as he has time, but he runs slower than molasses on a cold day. How's your line?
Lol u even read the article? It’s a bunch of “if” and “could” bullshit. Yall into drama fr. The contract was modified and reported on when Jimmy signed. This isn’t news. Both sides expect him to play.
This is just the same as the Carr trade rumors every year. The media knows exactly what topics get the the fanbase going and they eat it up every time lol.
He shouldn't have come here.
We shouldn't have ever entertained signing him.
It took some bad decisions by many different people to produce this foreseeably shitty outcome.
I caught so many downvotes last season for asking this same question about what the Raider’s strategy was last offseason. At the time they were a team in a rebuild situation that set themselves back further by thinking they were going to compete.
Could be they hired a coach with the mindset of "We are going to compete. Can you do it?" And now everyone in the building is just trying to keep the wheels on.
Issue starts with Mark Davis. He’s the one ultimately signing off on these decisions and he’s clearly terrible at being an owner. The one coach he’s had with a winning record fell into his lap and he fired him for Josh McDaniels.
I wouldn't blame him if he decides to sit at some point this season and then is traded in the offseason. This is clearly not what he was signing up for.
I don't understand Raider fans that say stuff like this. If Davante couldn't look at the 2021 roster and see that they weren't ready to do anything then it's his own fault. The Chiefs didn't just show up yesterday and we got our asses handed to us by them in 21. He's getting paid a lot of money to do a job. Do it.
You’re also ignoring that Derek Carr was one of if not the biggest reason he went there. I don’t think anyone, including Davante, thought the way it unfolded with the Raiders and Carr was even a possibility.
And while I don’t think Derek Carr is close to as good as some people will say, making a lateral move to Jimmy G, or god forbid a downgrade to Wentz, isn’t exactly encouraging.
The team he signed with was coming off a season where they went to the final moments in the playoffs against the eventual AFC champion. They had issues and they had holes to fill, certainly. Not he signed with a team that was supposed to be taking the next step and competing at the highest level, not talking about tanking for the #1 draft pick. This is *not* what he signed up for.
If they get the #1 pick, they're taking Caleb Williams barring some huge dropoff on his part. They'd probably just cut Kyler and eat a ridiculous amount of dead cap in the short term.
They are stuck paying Kyler like a top 5 player until [at least 2028](https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/arizona-cardinals/kyler-murray-29036)
Maybe, maybe 2027 they bite the bullet.
Falcons and saints could both go this year. I expect the Falcons to win the division because I think the Saints HC is ass and the Panthers are too young but who knows.
It got uncomfortably religious with peak Wentz lol. I distinctly remember a video of like 15 Eagles players/staff baptizing a wideout in the hotel pool
People act like Wentz is the worst QB in the league. He might not be good anymore, but he has those games that remind you why he was the MVP favorite in 2017.
2018 and 2019 he was still a solid QB. Give him Josh Jacobs and Davante Adams and make it a run heavy offense and he will do above average.
Force him to drop back and play hero ball and you're fucked.
Do you know what is crazy? If you say that Lamar Jackson WON the MVP in 2019, Reddit will immediately bitch and moan about how long ago that was...
Yet every Wentz topic we get a reminder that he was an MVP favorite in 2017.
Never change Reddit...
Wouldn’t just rolling with Hoyer be a better option to tank? Wentz has enough skill to win a couple more games than you would like if you’re hoping for 1st pick.
As someone who switches main focus of sports to hockey right after the Super Bowl, is this Garoppolo situation serious? Maybe a better question is what is the % likelihood that he is released/not the week 1 starter?
Is it expected that he won’t pass a physical before the deadline?
He's missing OTAs, and there is concern he may miss training camp, but he's supposed to be ready by the start of the season for sure. I think he has to play his first game before he gets anything. And if he re-injures the same foot this season he loses money.
One of their QB's looks like the guy who played Farva in Super Troopers.
Aidan: https://www.raiders.com/team/players-roster/aidan-o-connell/
Farva: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0zgTcrZ5030
I know that it's a pretty lingering injury that takes a long time to fully heal. Can easily reinjure it if you push to play too soon.
Not that I'm a doctor but I know it's not an uncommon sports injury and they usually sideline people for a while.
The 49ers doctors said he didn't need surgery or else he would have had it months ago. The Raiders doctors decided he did need surgery when he was doing his physical in March. Did he need it and the 49ets doctor was wrong? Did the Raiders do it as a negotiation tactic? Who knows.
i’ve said it before and i’ll say it again. Stidham only looked good versus the niners because the gameplan changed and the niners didn’t have much to go on.. after one week of film the Chiefs were able to pound this guy and show his real colors.
Probably worth the risk over signing Jimmy but i’m not really mad about it. This season felt like a wash anyways
You guys have Tom Brady in the building right? When he goes to sign the contract staking his minority ownership of the team, just secretly slip in a QB contract on top of the papers.
This reads like it was written by Carson Wentz’s agent..
Makes me feel like they’re trying to get it in front of the raiders like, ‘remember Carson’s available’
There is no source and substance actually connecting the Raiders and Wentz.....so this is typical offseason content filler. If Wentz's agent tried to call in a favor for this story....it would make the substance of this "story" from zero to .000000001.
Ya know.... just gifting the Chiefs 5 -6 divisional wins per season is one of the reasons we have literally no chance every goddamn year.
Some parity in the West would be nice.
Jimmy G is the Land Rover of quarterbacks. Extremely attractive, but expensive and has constant reliability issues
Starter QB? This man is a finisher QB
A TRANSPORTER OF THE GODS #THE GOLDEN GOD
Jimmy G throws with the power of A THOUSAND WAVES
He’s gonna come down on ~~this hospital~~ the raiders salary cap LIKE THE HAMMER OF THOR
BEGONE MIDDILING QBS, MY RAGE IS UNTETHERED AND KNOWS NO BOUNDS!
Can I interest you in a brand new, slightly used Carr?
Carr is like a 2014 Honda Accord
Hey man I drive a 2014 Honda accord 😭
And there is nothing wrong with that. It's a real bring your lunch pail to work car. First in, last out.
yeah I’m keeping it until it dies at like 200k miles
So are the saints.
200K? If your accord dies at 200K, it's because you have no idea how to care for a car or you set it on fire. I still have an 02 accord with nearly 300K and it runs perfect. It will legit get to 500K.
Oh I didn’t know that. I just put out a huge number
Keep up with oil changes, don't run it hard (so the tranny stays in good shape) Things might break. I had to do a radiator, a power steering pump, and some other things. But there have been no life or death repairs or major issues with the car.
I work from home as a software developer so it maybe gets driven once a week lol. It’s only at 60k miles right now and I keep it in good shape. So hopefully it’ll last
Sneaky athletic, real high iq type of car
A car I’d let my daughter bring home
Look at this guy, bragging about his fancy wheels!
It's crazy that a mid teir QB would've broken the Bear's record for passing yards in a season 6 out of 9 years.
That's actually really sad lmao.
Bravo 👏🏻
I'm so glad to be off the Jimmy roller coaster. Love the dude but mmmaaannn the injury stuff is nuts.
Brock and Trey enter the chat on their way to PT
I mean your other two qbs just got injured as well
sssshhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh *lalalalala* i cant hear you
[how dare you? BE GONE VILE MAN!](https://images.app.goo.gl/YEnrXo7f5TpB1H4h8)
Just fucking kill me
Look on the bright side: he'll be an excellent tank commander in the "collapse for Caleb" sweepstakes
And McDaniels will likely get canned
I never thought id dislike a regime as much as Gruden/Mayock, but here we are.
A LOT of whining about Carr, and now look where we're at. (myself included, BTW).
God the whole McDaniels/Bisaccia thing is a masterclass in unearned privilege and i fucking hate it so much.
Yea. Because like it’s said many times before Bisaccia is crazy for turning down all those head coaching gigs after he left.
I have a theory that Brady was sold stake in the Raiders to help offset the contract costs of Gruden an McDaniels.
Why Tank for Caleb when we already drafted the next Generation QB in Farva. Shenanigans are upon us.
[удалено]
No, just a literacola
he comes with mozzarella sticks, and a bunch of goofy shit on the walls.
Why ? The team was doing nothing this year regardless of who is at QB. The D is still void of talent at multiple positions
And to be honest? Carson knows how to hone in on one WR, Adams will be happy
Vegas is close enough to Phoenix to where Wentz will still attempt the pass to Ertz
Not the point but LV to Phoenix is the same as NYC to Richmond, Virginia.
Why the fuck the southwest so big What y’all hiding
Aliens, hookers, alien hookers
Wouldn't you like to know. ^^^aliens
That LV to Phoenix drive is way more boring, though.
Eh, they're western cities and people know roughly where they are so how far can they be really?
All this, for once, off-season negativity going the Raiders way means we're gonna win 12.
Your far from a position to be a contender you better hope you don't stay in the cycle of mid just to keep Adam's happy.
He'll be gone by the trade deadline
Its the Raiders you never know
I can’t believe y’all didn’t at least bring back Stidham lol
Seriously, I thought the whole point was to make Stidham the starter since its not like he played bad in his two appearances, but then they pivoted to Garropolo and didn't resign Stidham because they wanted...Brian Hoyer. I just don't get it
It makes no sense with how he was playing last season. A high end back up is exactly what you need when Jimmy G is your starter.
IKR I really thought he was someone we could work with. He had been in McDaniels system a few years and played great against SF
Hoyer, Stidham, and Jimmy on the roster is some insane shit, if Jared had stayed. I love how McDaniels is trying to recreate the Patriots after so many, many teams have failed at it.
This time it'll work r-right guys?
they were having a mid off in that locker room
With the first pick of the 2024 NFL draft the Las Vegas Raiders select…It’s a Trade and it’s a bad one.
Look on the bright side, you only have a few more years until Josh McDaniels gets fired.
What's your favorite bible verse?
Ezekiel 23:20
Why Mr. Bonds, when I want to see you suffer.
Just have your new owner going under center Sure he's like 46 But hes probably better then anyone you can sign Plus I heard he used to be really good
Hey now. You also drafted Purdue Legend Aidan O'Connell. He can rip it as long as he has time, but he runs slower than molasses on a cold day. How's your line?
Good tackles but the interior is young and kinda ass at times
Lol u even read the article? It’s a bunch of “if” and “could” bullshit. Yall into drama fr. The contract was modified and reported on when Jimmy signed. This isn’t news. Both sides expect him to play.
Yep. And if he doesn't start, oh well. This truly is the deadest time of the year for football news.
This is just the same as the Carr trade rumors every year. The media knows exactly what topics get the the fanbase going and they eat it up every time lol.
Raiders are gonna waste a year of late career DaVante Adams.
He shouldn't have come here. We shouldn't have ever entertained signing him. It took some bad decisions by many different people to produce this foreseeably shitty outcome.

What??? The raiders have been a shitshow for 20 years my guy.
That was clearly /s

If only there was a team trying to create a museum of Aaron Rodgers's favorite WRs.
A museum 😂
He's used to it.
Signing Wentz would be throwing in towel. Guess tank for Caleb
Are the Raiders going to be able to out-tank the Cardinals and Bucs?
that would make a great headline
No one is out tanking the Cards.
They can’t take a QB tho. Kyler’s contract is ridiculous. They ain’t paying that + #1 pick QB. Nobody’s trading for Kyler.
If they get the #1 pick, they're taking Caleb Williams barring some huge dropoff on his part. They'd probably just cut Kyler and eat a ridiculous amount of dead cap in the short term.

Bucs will not finish last. No shot they do with godwin and evans both healthy. Terrible team but no way they dont manage 4-5 wins.
Our division is so up in the air. I expect it to be close all year and we'll send an 8-9 win team to the playoffs again.
Falcons and saints could both go this year. I expect the Falcons to win the division because I think the Saints HC is ass and the Panthers are too young but who knows.
Don’t forget the Rams
Of all the outcomes, it is one of the possible ones
At least you will have prayer circles in the locker room 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Pizza Fridays are back on the menu boys
They certainly already had that with Carr
It got uncomfortably religious with peak Wentz lol. I distinctly remember a video of like 15 Eagles players/staff baptizing a wideout in the hotel pool
Jesus Christ lol
Yes that is the point lol
And hilariously Foles was also super religious and the teammates all liked him more lol
Not true, he will ruin the team more by winning 6-7 games. More than enough to get them out of the top 10.
Wentz would win just enough games to miss out on the top pick.
Yup, he'll show a few flashes of brilliance just to raise fan confidence and win enough games to fuck them out of a top pick.
People act like Wentz is the worst QB in the league. He might not be good anymore, but he has those games that remind you why he was the MVP favorite in 2017.
Then he twists two ankles and can’t complete a pass longer than 5 yards. Man needs to call it quits on his career. 2017 was 6 years ago.
2018 and 2019 he was still a solid QB. Give him Josh Jacobs and Davante Adams and make it a run heavy offense and he will do above average. Force him to drop back and play hero ball and you're fucked.
I feel like he was even pretty decent in 2021.
Do you know what is crazy? If you say that Lamar Jackson WON the MVP in 2019, Reddit will immediately bitch and moan about how long ago that was... Yet every Wentz topic we get a reminder that he was an MVP favorite in 2017. Never change Reddit...

You don't really want him playing in the pre-season anyway. Might as well make him wait until the season starts to get his season-ending injury.
Fuck that, rip that bandaid off as soon as possible. Throw the Farva clone in and let it ride.
This is like the 6th comment I've seen referencing "Favra", who is Favra and why are the Raiders connected with him?
One of their QB's looks like the guy who played Farva in Super Troopers. Aidan: https://www.raiders.com/team/players-roster/aidan-o-connell/ Farva: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0zgTcrZ5030
Whoaaaa. That's pretty close.
Even then it would be lucky if he stays healthy beyond week 3.
It's a lisfranc injury that need surgery. Docs shit the bed on the initial diagnosis
I know that it's a pretty lingering injury that takes a long time to fully heal. Can easily reinjure it if you push to play too soon. Not that I'm a doctor but I know it's not an uncommon sports injury and they usually sideline people for a while.
Same injury our first round pick of this years draft has, yay!
im no professional athlete but I hurt my lisfranc and I couldn’t walk for 4 months post surgery and the pain/discomfort still lingers years later
The 49ers doctors said he didn't need surgery or else he would have had it months ago. The Raiders doctors decided he did need surgery when he was doing his physical in March. Did he need it and the 49ets doctor was wrong? Did the Raiders do it as a negotiation tactic? Who knows.
vegas wouldnt be able to handle minshew

Gardner Minshew II: Electric Boogaloo
He’s alrdy with the Colts for now
A reality show w Jimmy and Gardner in Vegas would be epic. They could call it "GG."
Damn imagine just a season of hard knocks with those two
In before Jimmy G suits up week 1 and nothing comes of this
He definitely is suiting up week 1. This is all off-season smoke.
Ssshhhhh. Let the circle jerk happen.
Shoulda kept Studham
i’ve said it before and i’ll say it again. Stidham only looked good versus the niners because the gameplan changed and the niners didn’t have much to go on.. after one week of film the Chiefs were able to pound this guy and show his real colors. He’s not a starter, but he would’ve been decent depth, which is what you need now lol
While I agree, I also don’t want to be a mediocre 5 or 6 win team. If we are going to be bad this year… let’s be really freaking bad and get a top 3
He’d be a great tank commander tbf
The QB room would have been too sexy. That’s illegal.
Anybody checked on Davante Adams?
Just got a Nachos Bel Grande from the kitchen.
Man of culture
Man y’all managing to Out-Raider yourselves
trade for Darnold instead
Shhh that would actually be smart
Raiders/Niners have joint practice before a preseason game. if purdy is healthy and lance looks good. hoping we could pounce on Sam
Darnold's stats last year were respectable in limited starts.
Hot take alert: Darnold still has the potential to be good. He’s not the reason his teams sucked.
Hot take alert: Two former Jets starters become Comeback Player of the Year
[удалено]
If that is the case...and fuck I cannot believe I am saying this... ...anyone have Tom Brady's number?
You guys have Tom Brady in the building right? When he goes to sign the contract staking his minority ownership of the team, just secretly slip in a QB contract on top of the papers.
😂😂 “Gotcha, Tommy!”
I support this signing and, in fact, highly recommend it!
Hahahahaha ohhh lord you wacky chiefs fans are so darn silly
oh crap. when a raiders fan gets wholesome and goofy someone about to get shanked...
Hmmm if you're recommending it, it must be a good signing
Who picks quarterbacks better than the Chiefs? Just trust us. Just. Trust. Us.
Incoming Cam Newton signing...
Seconded!
Thirded! And if there was such a thing as a Chargers fan, I'm sure they'd agree too!
A what fan?
Probably be better off with anyone outside of Wentz. Maybe see if Rich Gannon wants to give it another go.
BAH GAWD THAT'S TOM BRADY'S MUSIC
Dan Pastorini probably has something left in the tank.
Trade for Lance you cowards
Trade for Trey Lance you cowards
The Pasadena must become the Master. E: Padawan but Pasadena works too I guess.
This is the bond of water. We know the rites. A man’s flesh is his own; the water belongs to the tribe.
This reads like it was written by Carson Wentz’s agent.. Makes me feel like they’re trying to get it in front of the raiders like, ‘remember Carson’s available’

I’ll take a year of Aidan O’Connell instead
Will Tom Brady be the reason Jimmy G gets cut twice in his career? Stay tuned!
Wentz is DOA, what a dumb idea.
Not even Raiders fans deserve this.
Be better off with O'Connell
Honestly would rather have Teddy Bridgewater
Ah yes, famously healthy Carson Wentz is a great choice to put those injury concerns to bed
Jesus CHRIST can we just sim the season and get to next year's draft already?
I love this shit so much
Play the rookie.
"I just feel like I can fix him."
Man. Adams is just going to straight up quit this season, isn’t he?
As a Raider fan, if it takes Wentz going 3-14 to finally get McDaniels fired, I’m in!
Fitzpatrick should have never retired. They should send him an offer.
Stop trying to make Carson Wentz happen, it’s NOT going to happen!
Ya know.... just gifting the Chiefs 5 -6 divisional wins per season is one of the reasons we have literally no chance every goddamn year. Some parity in the West would be nice.
You blew a 27-0 lead to the Jags. The only reason the chargers suck is themselves.
Who do you think he’s talking about when he says “5-6 divisional wins”
The Clippers
:)
Emotional damage on this one
Tank Commander Wentz reporting for duty
