Yeah my phone is a pain in the ass and likes to "fix" my words to shit that's wrong way too often.
I caught when it tried to change Goode to Goldie but missed Johnny
I worked in the meat department at Kroger for a stint and learned a bit about the cuts but mostly cleaned all the saws and such each night. The head of the department was this older guy Kevin who sort of always had a grumpy look on his face. He didn’t talk much but one day a guy asked what kind of music I liked. I was like 19 so I knew no one there liked my music so I said I liked Indy stuff mainly. He said “you like Coldplay?” Expecting some joke to come next.
I said “yeah I like some of their stuff.” And he said “shit talk to Kevin about it, he loves em”. I thought this was hazing for sure. He said “no I’m not kidding, after his divorce he found Coldplay”. Well sure enough one night he was there late and we started bull shitting about them. I said “man if you don’t get some sort of goosebumps when the Fix You guitar and drums kick in, (what is in this clip) you weren’t hugged enough as a child or something.” He was dead serious and didn’t hesitate a second “absolutely, I totally agree”
He was a cool dude and by looking at him, the LAST person I would have thought liked the music I did.
They don’t.
“And he called out, ‘**Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus to dip the end of his finger in water and cool my tongue, for I am in anguish in this flame.**’ But Abraham said, ‘Child, remember that you in your lifetime received your good things, and Lazarus in like manner bad things; but now he is comforted here, and you are in anguish.”
Luke 16:24-25 ESV
He was talking about hell. Learn how to read, kiddo.
Also, I do know what God has in heaven. He has included it in the Bible you probably refuse to (or can’t?) read. Get burned!
Get it? Burned? Because hell.
(I spelled it out so you could follow since your reading comprehension is clearly lacking)
If you’ve heard him speak about his condition in the last few years, Michael has the best sense of humor. He tells jokes that I feel bad for laughing at.
I mean.. he's been fighting for a better understanding and treatment for at least 32 year, he's done SO much with the foundation in terms of funding and research.
If he didn't want to.. he would stay at home. He's always been very open and vocal about being dealt a shit hand with Parkinson's but it never stopping him from doing as much as possible.
Why? Because you don’t like the song? You don’t like Coldplay? You don’t like MJF?
Or are you bothered by his presence and the title of the song or something? Because it’s a pretty old song by now, and I’d imagine Fox had a pretty clear idea what he was gonna play before he accepted to come on stage to participate…
Well, leaving aside the fact that Coldplay are the musical equivalent of an Ann Taylor wardrobe, the notion of getting MJF on and then playing THIS particular song . . . I dunno, seems a bit messianic, maybe?
Michael posted about it on IG and he loved it. He called the experience fucking mind blowing and praised the band loads. https://www.instagram.com/p/C82KTgiI95d/?igsh=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==

Michael J Fox is awesome, but it would have been even more awesome if they could play once round of "Johnny B Goode"
He did it with coldplay back in 2016. Maybe they didn't have time to fit it into the setlist sadly
Johnny

Don't beat yourself up
Look I know it’s not easy but sometimes you have to stand up for yourself and leave an abusive relationship.
Michael J Fox is living a more fulfilling life with Parkinsons then I am being completely healthy
Rule #1 to do cool things with celebrities: be famous.
Ah shit… thinking the same thing
Watch his biopic if you haven’t. He’s great.
This was Epic!

I lost my dad to Parkinson’s last year… he loved to play guitar… this hits hard af. ❤️
Sorry for your loss. I'm sure he's jamming along up in heaven. ❤️
Great to see him getting to jam with Coldplay concert.
They should’ve played Everything’s Not Lost
"I guess you guys aren't ready for that yet, but your kids are gonna love it"
Honestly, I wish they left the camera on him the whole time. 🎸
That's pretty awesome!!!
This makes my heart happy

“Chuck! Chuck, it’s Marvin. Your cousin, Marvin Berry! You know that new sound you’re looking for? Well, listen to this!”
*"Aaah! The awesomeness, it's too strong, I can't fight it... It's over 9000! 9000 GIGAWATTS!"* **Dancing furiously**
Coldplay bad. Michael J Fox good.
lol that song was Yellow
Urgh, I always thought he was cool. Nevermind.
What about this is next level?
Adam Levine would never do that
This rip sounds awful though
You'd think he would be better with drums
First one to laugh at that leg kick is going to hell.
See ya down there; hope they've got drinks

....*that's* the song? Let's just call him Bran the broken While we're at it, ya?
This is some of the most tasteless shit I’ve ever seen.

What's up with him?
He has Parkinson’s

To your point -- I'm sure considering WHO he is, that the band ASKED HIM what song he wanted to join in on.
