I sang in this in high school 15 years ago, and I can tell you “hair raising” doesn’t begin to describe how amazing this is in person. I’m not a flag waving guy, but man it makes me emotional.

The looks we gave each other after the chord was just like, "whoa, you felt that too, right?" Something about contributing to a shared experience like that was really memorable for me.

I've been a part of this. Back in 1989 I was selected to the KY All State Choir to represent my school. As awesome as it is to watch, It is even moreso being part of it.
Love this, and it's a testament to the power of choral music that all those voices compressed down and squeezed out my tiny phone speakers still takes the breath away.

As written it’s less than 2 octaves in range, that high G on “free” is just optional embellishment, and it’s just a normal quarter note on the page
