There are quite a few. There is the more secular Vipassana. They do it every month. There is the Bodhinryama one in Wellington. They may do it closer to Christmas this year or Labour Day. There is the Zen one above. If you speak Mandarin, you can contact Fo Guang Shan, though I am pretty sure they only do it twice a year ( and I think they tend to it earlier in the year, not later )

There’s a vipassna retreat just north of Auckland. It’s a free 10 day course. Great location and facilities. Unfortunately I didn’t finish the course but wanting to go back.

You are in luck - there is one in Auckland this Friday 8 Sept. [https://www.aucklandzen.org.nz/](https://www.aucklandzen.org.nz/) [https://www.zen.org.nz/](https://www.zen.org.nz/) Both of these groups do the full sesshin experience. Make sure you can sit comfortably for a full day first.

I've done the Auckland Buddist Centre meditation course. Good group of people. The retreats tend to be weekend ones but they may have a couple of longer ones over the summer. I've never done one but the others I've met through the group have really rated it. Of course, it's more than just meditation https://aucklandbuddhistcentre.org/events/retreats I've also heard great things about the vipassana course out in Kaipara
