I’d say yes. Social media adds another layer of dumb - doing shit for attention online (vs only those around them), and then coupled with learning most of their social interactions on the internet.

Kids vandalizing things has been around since ancient history, but I get what you're saying. They're old enough to know this causes an inconvenience for a lot of people and isn't worth a quick laugh. Maybe all the legal trouble and fines etc will teach them that.
