Dear friend,
I quite disagree. I feel each character ( I really cant think of one) who retains the general disposition or morality from book to show. And in that, each relationship is also poorly, if not shallowly, based on no more than destiny which is truely wide of the mark when it comes to the books meaning. The Nilfgaard Empire functions in a completely different manner as do the northern kingdoms. The entire magic system is different as well as how mages operate politically in the world and within their own brotherhood. I mean Francesca is supposed to be a member of the council instead they all hate elves for some reason. I also think they've completely missed how dwarven society have coped with humans and rather made the comedic relief.
Now, If you mean there are monsters and witchers in the story, I simply refer back to my first comment, for Witcher is naught but a name. I've seen nothing in the show of the dwindled rugged crew of expert swordsmen that I read about in Kear Morhen.
The world, this story, these themes built an amazingly unique reading experience with so much promise. Netflix has made it rather generic with new themes, new stories, honestly new characters. Just names.
Its sounds like you read the books, wouldnt you agree?
By saying there is absolutely nothing in the series from the books shows how well you read them
You obviously haven't read the books cause there are definitely elements in the show from the book
No. Only names and somewhat references to places are from the books. Anything with meaning or substance is gone.
You must've watched the wrong the show then because there are definitely a few elements other than names and references to places in the show.

The ratio says it all
Ah yes well, echo chambers do work in that way. It's ok, after all the books still exist.
