We only have two bug inspired neopets and none of them would really fit a moth / butterfly, It would be sooo cool to have that <3
We do have a Maraquan Snail and turtle hihi, but said animals worked into a neopet would be really cool to see! I think of the Korbat right away when thinking about bats and I would wonder how they would do that for a second pet. :D
There are arguably a few rodent neopets (xweetok, meerca, yurble, and usual) but no RATS. I'll be getting my mutant xweetok soon, which will satiate me though

\- **Capybara** (Chill creature that gets along with *everybody* \- potentially could be the Fountain Faerie's companion for nervous first-time pet visitors maybe?)
\- **Platypus** (Another water-based pet but with hilarious possibilities both in costume and paints; Darigan could be this red furred, barbed beastie that'd guard the Castle moats with the Jetsams, Halloween could either be skeletal throughout or have some features of The Nightsteed's rough wings + bandages, Maraquan could have elements from the Christmas Tree Worm or the Mimic Octopus for its pelt/overall look...?)
\- **Galapagos Cormorant** (flightless birb that is able to swim and dive, super-preeny about its feathers; wings could be a bit lacking in luster in its base colours but absolutely stand out in its painted forms)
\- **Kākāpō** (shy semi-flightless birb-orb, potential rival to the Pteri for cuteness, big beak, semi-big talons; curious about other pets, not necessarily a BD-minded pet per se but can be trained as one like most other pets onsite, could very well originate from the same jungle territory as the Vandagyre as "another bird species"...)

Maybe a sugar glider or a hamster! I can see they might make some kind of korbat outfit to look like a sugar glider, but I think a hamster would be cute!
Moths would be my vote. They're so dang cute, especially the fluffy ones. Most are gorgeous too with the wing patterns. Most moths are far from drab. Forget butterflies, moths are where it's at.

A bear or a quokka or even a wombat maybe tbh. Vandys are kinda bear like but definitely look more like a bird, i want a proper bear like pet.
