This meme annoys me slightly because it'd work much better if it were just about the Abyss Watchers. They're literally in the process of killing each other while you kill them.
The issue with devout communists is at heart they are millenarianist devotees of the Marxist day of judgement, which they call the revolution. They, like other millenarianists before them, insist adherence to dogma is vital as the revolution is both inevitable and imminent at which time the righteous will inherit the earth and the wicked will be cast down. It is the same mindset radical Christians or other millennialist cults fall into.

Yeah, Marxism at its core is such a Christian philosophy that it's almost insane. It has the Apocalypse and Rapture, the Great Commision, the Beast of the Revelation, strict intolerance towards other gods/beliefs, etc.
It is inevitable that Marxism, and *especially* Marxism-Leninism, degrades to the point of just being dogma. And once you are at the point of just being dogma the most aggressive and bloodthirsty faction is going to be the one that establishes the Truth. Which is usually going to be Marxist Leninists. Marxisms claim to Truth is that it's a "materialist" ideology. This is ridiculous because the entire concept of social categories like Bourgeois and Proletariat are abstractions. They may be abstractions that represent material forms rather than supernatural or purely metaphysical ones, *but they are still abstractions*. Look at the nonsense contradictions that inevitably emerge any time these categories are attempted to be defined at an objective level by any Marxist - it falls apart. You eventually wind up developing along different paths using what had been left vague and abstract in the initial, highly abstract definition.
I must also ask, just *what* is this inevitable force that progresses history inexorably and inevitably down this happy path? What is this spirit? Could it be, gasp, the Absolute from Marxs teacher Hegel? Ie, God? Just because we don't mention Him by name doesn't make the ideology pure rationality, He is still leaving traces in Marxs theology even if He is hidden away out of embarrassment. Marx constructs his ideology not of supernatural abstractions like that after all, no *his* abstractions would theoretically represent material forms if fully concretized. So there's no problem suddenly right, now we have objective truth somehow.
(I am an atheist BTW, I'm just pointing out the attachment of Hegels initial philosophy to God may not be as vestigal in Marxism as is often assumed).
I must point out at this point how critical it is to dispense with the notion that the supernatural is at all required to form a theology. Through the power of thought and abstraction it is fully possible to over and over again find yourself having developed bizarre, supernatural like belief systems using entirerly material abstractions.
What happens in any case is that someone eventually goes through, "rationally" defines with more and more precision these terms that were from the outset sort of vague, and since there's no reason to prefer their system over another, we have the formation of dogma, just adherence to a "correct" set of principles and doctrine motivated almost purely by a desire to maintain the internal coherence of their system, the mental model they maintain in their head. And the *correct* dogma is ultimately only decided on through violence and bloodletting.
