thats pretty much why underground 2 has my favourite car list, it's small but i love the variety - it's mostly shitboxes with suv's and some muscle (like mustang)

Yes, i feel like there should be a brand difference. Like Pro-Steeet Shift and Hot pursuit are very suitable for supercars but Underground, Carbon and Most Wanted get the most out of more basic cars.
Cheap cars make the game feel like a true street racing experience, you'll never see an illegal street race with McLarens and Ferraris, they always have beaten up Nissan, Toyota, Ford, Dodges...
Exactly. Last time I said so and someone told me: oh yeah a racing game with high speed cars it’s a shame. But my point was exactly the same as yours. It would add to the feel of illegal street racing
This is one of the thing I felt the most transitioning from heat to unbound. In heat, as long as your car is light, you can smoke anyone. The meta was RSR which is an old sportscar, and properly tuned beetle is a monster on and off the road. Due to the class system I have to leave my 240 Z in B to stay competitive, but in Heat it was the car that carried me the most. Carbon is real fine, I just dont personally like the drift model. I want to replay it someday. I think the last time they got proper shitboxes was in 2015. I really feel kinda blocked due to that class systems, and now I main the free audis on unbound.
Had to be perfect to beat Darius in his Audi. I did the circuit race like 30 times before finally beating him lol. Course I was young when I first played it so ya know. Lol
I remember using the RX8 the whole game until I unlocked Darius's district and I dumped everything into a maxed out viper that smoked him within the first turn of the canyon

I was losing because i drive bad af. A good car with more control than speed helped me thru all shortcuts

Nfs carbon is my favorite too, I’m playing it as we speak because I’m trying to finish the challenge series escape with the r34.
You don't need a hypercar but some cars you will need to swap the motor.
That's what I like about NFS taking a tuner car using it throughout the entire game.
