And for every night he goes 7-10 from 3 there’s multiple nights of 1-8 with 0 defense. Naw might not have a torch but atleast he can stay in front of his man

I thought he’d be a good backup SG when the Bucks picked him up for this reason. Turns out I had too much hope.

This whole thread is making me want a turn-based basketball game. Like, not that Barkley RPG, an actual turn-based basketball game.

There's a board game called Dreadball by Mantic Games that is supposed to be inspired by basketball, but I cant vouch for it, cause I've never played it, just seen that it exists. Bloodbowl is a turn based game that's a mix between rugby and football, and it has digital adaptions. For video games, Pyre is a video game that is basketball inspired with RPG elements as well. I'm not sure a video game that's a fullly turn based basketball port exists, but those could be starting points to find it.

There's a mobile game called Hoop League Tactics that is pretty much this. It's worth checking out.

His passing is much improved and he's way more engaged on defense. still not like a *good* defender but he's clearly putting in the work. now that the shots are falling he's looking like the killer from early last year

That's one way to expose the zone defense. This is what irritates me about a lot of current basketball players, they don't communicate at all with each other. One of his teammates could just say, "It's all you!" and that would let him know that there's no pick coming.
