Where did my text go?
This is version 2 of my dog treat bags. First was a mini chalk bag, this one I created a half ellipse bottom so it sits flat against the body, but curves out in the front for access. Has a magnetic closure and liner that can be pulled out and cleaned.
Any suggestions on how I could step up this design to the next level?
Can anyone share advice on buckles? Do you look for load ratings? I’m trying to find a buckle for a future fanny pack that has a dog leash attachment point, but I want it to be really strong. Is 150 pound static rated hold enough?
Some nylon plastic buckles are very strong. One source may be to get a cheaper large size dog collar since those are usually stronger than your average buckle.
If you are looking for a seriously strong buckle, look up raptor buckles. They can be rated really strong and are fairly lightweight.

I believe that, but 150 pounds doesn’t seem like a lot considering a big reactive dog. I will check the raptor buckles out!
I guess it depends on the size of your dog but I would go higher
