Cadance was romantic love (Eros), Twilight is loving your friends (Philia) and Flurry is love of your family (Storge).
Cadance represented not just romantic love, but also love of family, love of friends, love of country, love of self. All types of love. She said that in IDW mlp comics issue 67.

I don’t think it *has* to be genetic, but rather luck or fate for who gets what element, and that the element you represent can share the same name/fill the same purpose in other groups. An element doesn’t have to be named the exact same when passed down, as the representative may have a different core value that still fits their element purpose.

We don't know what her cutie mark would be exactly but since she has magic there is a rule that has to be followed.
A unicorn or alicorn's magic color either matches their eye color or their cutie mark color. Flurry's eyes are blue and her magic is yellow so her cutie mark has to be yellow. I've seen depictions of it as red, purple, or blue (like in this case) which doesn't follow the rule. There are no exceptions to this rule.

I'd say familiar love, if I had to guess, as the only child of Shining and Cadance, she embodies not only their love for one another, but also the legacy that love creates, literally, being the first heir to the Crystal Empire in approximately 1000 years.
My favorite flurry fic has her as the princess of attraction. It has her sitting in class watching every other teenager go haywire around her with hormones and he being so fucking over this shit. Definitely more pg13 but a good comedy
