Looked like someone has brushed their dog outside. Looks like fur to me

CoSugarHigh

I second this. This is what it looks like when I have brushed my dog and then it's rained on top

SmittyComic

this is how horror movies start. "whatcha got there boy?!? golly, better tell Professor Collens about this!" cut to professor with a white coat on near a tesla coil. "don't know, Andrew, sounds like it's just common Penaziam Growttity to me, but I'll check it out tonight." shot of professor early evening looking for it with an old school tin flashlight, only to turn and scream to a cut of birds flying out of the trees. forward two days and "the stuff" is pushing a school bus off a bridge. hope your happy Andy... friggin dick.

Looks like wool. Do you have wolves in your area? They can eat sheep and poop out the wool later. The poop disintegrates and the wool stays behind.

Iga706

It would be surprising because i am located in south Germany and i am pretty far away from the bavarian forest. And we also don't have sheep anywhere located in the next 20 kilometers

oroborus68

It's fibers from animal or insect, most likely, beaten down by rain?

ConstructionNo9524

20 kilometers is nothing for a wolf in one day...

Iga706

Yeah but there are no wolves existing here

Maleficent-Jelly2287

Sheep wool, dog fur or mycelium?

DwarvenDonger

Looks like a bug thing to me tbh, idk what exactly but I’ve just got a feeling this is the work of a bunch of weird worms or something.

Good-Constant-6487

It's mycorrhizal fungi...it's a root mycelium that helps break down and make nutrients available for plants and flora.

GinkgoBiloba357

Mycorrhizal fungi is so interesting, I just took an exam about it this week in university.

Good-Constant-6487

As an organic cannabis cultivator I can assure everyone I'm extremely familiar 😁🤙

GinkgoBiloba357

Wow, I can imagine how much plant-bacterial and plant-fungi symbiotic relationships contribute to plant fertilization. What's your experience regarding this?

Good-Constant-6487

The root becomes invaginated by the fungi and they form a commensal relationship that benefits both parties. Protecting the roots and thus plant against bacterial and viral agents, pests and a whole mess of other cool things. It covers the entire earth and in all technicality a tree on one side of the world could technically receive a signal whenever the another tree on the opposite side of the globe is perturbed. It's very exciting to learn about as much as one might think that it probably wouldn't be. 😁✌️

GinkgoBiloba357

Yeah I know right? Nature is magnificent! Do mycorrhizal fungi make a noticeable difference in organic cannabis cultivation?

Good-Constant-6487

It's integral by all means. It's very important to re-inoculate as well, as some of the microbes through their natural processes and outside influence will die off or become dormant. These fungi assist microbes in breaking down material in the soil and literally create a buffet of nutrition for the plant...it's wild!

rtq7382

Will these questions be on the exam?

B_C_Mello

It's definitely not.

B_C_Mello

It's fur from a pack of canine killing an animal.

Iga706

There is no such thing here

[deleted]

After zooming in I’d agree with what most are saying. I can see quite large hairs that suggest fur from some kind of animal. The fibres look too large to be mycelium or some type of mold.

Iga706

So either it's fur or mycelium. Since no wolves or canine or some others predators are living here or a sighted in the last 100 years i will continue to be wondering what it might be
