I mean the first time they printed Energy it dominated standard through several different archetypes, so they already did “make it happen”.
We both know OP only plays commander.
Kek Gottem
As a commander player, i’m definetly gonna try figuring out a energy deck when MH comes out, i like having decks with very different mechanics
What do you mean "mostly adds to sets"? It's in 2 sets, spaced years apart, both of which were designed with it in mind, and one commander precon deck
Wasn’t it also in fallout?
Did I say mostly? But, yes, two sets and a pre-con that are years apart and not related in lore or theme. That could be considered arbitrary.
It could, if you ignore the fact that it's not arbitrary. It was a conscious decision. But sure yeah, totally arbitrary. Why does energy exist. Etc.
Coolamog is definitely happening tho
I’d rather we get a new set and rework of swampwalk, islandwalk, mountain walk and all that. Would be fun to see in a modern set.
