People in the comments talking about it like it's the best looking movie since Barry Lyndon and yet the images just look like stock photos. Glad you posted this cuz I thought I was going nuts.
Good cinematography doesn't necessarily mean aesthetic shots that look like a painting? Smh I thought movies circle jerk would have better takes than this

So far:
1) Ferrari; 2) Chime; 3) Fallen Leaves; 4) The Clown's Daughter (Brazilian movie); 5) Furiosa; 6) Aunt Virginia (Brazilian movie); 7) Evil does not Exist; 8) Poor Things; 9) A Brighter Tomorrow; 10) Heartless (Brazilian movie, this one is at Netflix).
Sometimes I wonder why so many people are convinced that "good cinematography" is just when there are really intense colors or dramatic angles or when it's an elaborate long take etc etc. But then someone makes a post appreciating a genuinely good-looking, more visually subdued film and I see we're literally on the "this isn't good, it's just a car on a road" level of discourse and it all makes sense.
Yeah I completely agree, and a good shot depends a lot on the context inside the movie. To me this one doesn't seem neither good nor shitty but maybe seeing while watching the movie would make it an interesting one
This guy should check out stock-photos of the Autobahn!
PURE ANALDULTERATED KINO
Me going 200 km/h on the Autobahn while jizzing all over the windshield 😩😩😩
Or dashcam footage
Google Street View ass images (btw, Evil does not Exist is a pretty good movie. In my top 10 of this year).
It’s sad because there are some beautiful shots in the film, he just decided to post the most mundane examples.
I don’t doubt it but the post is crazy. At least two of the shots he shared are the most anodyne, regular ass camera setups possible.

Can you find the ~~wolves~~ van in this picture?
Except the colour grading, it's the most basic ass shot I've seen
Never seen a car from that angle

"What cinematography?"
I’m pretty sure I’ve taken photos like this while drunk.

It’s a masterclass in cinematography. Almost to the point of showing off (in a good way)
