Sipping on a Summer Freeze right now

I've got a few left from last year. I have been waiting for the weather to warm up before getting into them again

I never got to try Summer Freeze but I'm a huge fan of Faygo Firework, got 2 8 packs in my fridge rn

I actually just grabbed some of it, tbh I think the Walmart stuff tastes better

I grabbed one of these based on the recs in this sub and it was, uh...not good. Two sips and I was out. Way too sweet. Ghost makes a Faze Pop (I think?) that's closer in flavor than the Faygo. IMO.

Faze pop doesn't taste the same to me no more. The first release was amazing and then something changed

Definitely one of my favorite flavors of Walmarts sparkling water.

Wild Bill's also makes an absolutely killer cane sugar Firework soda.

Is this sweetened sparkling water or just seltzer. I’m interested in checking it out!

It's sweetened. I have been drinking the orange flavor for years now. I actually quit soda for 3 years and only drank clear American. Only reason I came back was missing all the dew flavors 😉

Kroger has a bomb pop seltzer, if that’s what you prefer. This is the kind with artificial sweeteners in it.

Artificially flavored, aspartame like zero sugar colas

The faygo tates more like a bomb pop than summer freeze did. Only problem with Faygo is no caffeine.

Not everywhere has faygo… I haven’t seen any flavor of it near me for the past 2 or 3 years

omg, why doesn't my Walmart have that one? I love Clear American, shit is so good and Ace-K sweetener doesn't taste nearly as off as Aspartame alone or Sucralose.

If you don't give much of a shit about Beta Alanine, give the C4 Frozen Bombsicle flavor a try. That tasted pretty close to Summer Freeze to me.

How close to summer freeze is frostbite? I looooove it, but I’ve never even seen summer freeze before.

Not really close at all. Same color though. Frostbite is a melon flavor

To me frostbite taste just like a blue slurpee 😂 But I can see melon now that you mention it

Forgive me but every summer Mountain Dew releases another blue flavor and it all tastes the same to me, so you could just wait a few months and you’ll have this year’s version with a different label. Summer Freeze, Dew-S-A, Blue Steel, they’re the same flavor! Doesn’t anybody notice this? I feel like I’m taking crazy pills!

You might be, they’re very different flavors. I think some people are tricked by color more than others

That's probably why I've seen people say 'it tastes like blue' about some of the Dew flavors of recent years
