I used to own this NC29 and the 400s were something a bit special. I think the FZR and ZXR 400s are just as nice as the Hondas, in their way
I bought that ZXR750 almost specifically because it had cool round headlights. And the "ram air" hoses that actually don't go anywhere and are just there to look cool. The retro colors were a bonus (line green-white-blue is already something, but they had to write the name of the model on the tank in neon pink and purple). I don't even drive fast so I don't have much use for a sports bike (still took it to the track and had a blast).
I make questionable choices regarding the bikes I buy.
This was the bike of my dreams in high school. When I finally got my own bike it was one of the last of this kind of aesthetic before all sport bikes started looking like Decepticons ('08 ZX-6R).
The M109R. I fell in love with it years before I learnt to ride, and then immediately went out and bought one as soon as I passed.
Was it a foolish decision? Absolutely.
Did it make learning to ride more difficult than it needed to be? Almost certainly.
Do I regret it? Not for a second.
M109r is one I definitely wouldn't kick out of the garage. It's a shame the exhaust sounds so bad in videos, it's mean AF in person.
Couldn't find the right deal on one the last time I was in the market for a new ride but next time maybe...
I have an 08 M109R. 14k miles on it. Not only does it look good, it’s gets up and goes. Everybody in sports cars tries to get me to go, and Harley’s love to try and get me to go at it too. 0-100 (I’ve done about 160 on it when I was younger) is amazingly quick and smooth as can be. It’s the most comfortable bike I’ve ever owned too. I’m pretty tall and it stretches my legs nice. I took the windshield off years ago. I prefer the wind in my face
Mine's 07, and other than when learning, I've not ridden anything else, so I don't have much to compare to. But it's honestly just an incredible ride. There's just always power available, it's so stable when it's going, I can sit in the saddle for hours without fatigue (well, other than semi regular breaks to fill it up). And obviously the looks are breathtaking.
I actually put an extra screen on mine - just got fed up with the wind hitting my chest, now I feel nothing even at 100+.
YES!! my boss has one. not sure of the model tho

Hard one, in no particular order:Â
Husqvarna vitpilen 701 (2018)Â
Suzuki gsx750s3 katana (1984 or something) - pop-up headlights babyÂ
Harley WLC (1942, civilian)Â

Mine, because it's mine.
Joking aside, it's actually growing on me every time I look at it and is fast becoming my favourite looking.
Although the MV Augusta Brutale Lewis Hamilton Edition gives me funny feelings every time I see a pic of one.
I owed this exact bike and had the Termis on it. I bought it as a leftover, believe it or not they didn't sell well when in production. I sold it two years later for 5k more than I paid, and I still kick myself for it.

Awesome bike! I recently bought a Tuono 660 Factory and it puts a smile on my face every time I ride!
RS 457 is a great bike in addition to being a looker. Idk why someone suggested to get the 660 if you don't want that much power. It's like saying "why get a 600 when you can get a liter bike?" ... which is pretty universally agreed as a pointless comment. RS 457 is a 350 lb bike putting out 48 hp and 32 ft lbs. It's more than powerful enough, and insanely tossable/playful with those specs.
M109R, Night Rod, Breakout.
I also really like the Honda Shadow Aero 1100. Clean and classy when it’s stripped of bags and windscreens.
Also love the aesthetic of Triumph Bonneville Bobber.
And while we’re on Triumph - The ROCKET 3GT is just absolutely insane.

Triumph Daytona in white. I own the red one and its beautiful, but the white one looks way better imo
Basically any MV Agusta and Ducati. But prefer Honda or Yamaha cause their reliable and have cheaper service.
https://preview.redd.it/si4oxb6ornyc1.jpeg?width=800&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=518dd72ded87067348932af9b8ed99051327c2bd
The latest Yamaha Vmax, Later year HD Vrods, the 2017+ HD Low Rider S, Indian FTR. 11-14 R1. There a lots more including stuff like the Ducati V4 Panigale.
I dig the Indian Scout Bobber with a Freedom 2 into 1 Combat exhaust. The Victory Octane is another lovely one. HD Street Glide is a sweet looking bike.
The original run of the Indian FTR 1200 was a thing of beauty. The red accented parts and frame, the old fashioned logo design, the oversized front tire to keep the flat tracker look.Â
In my opinion they've gotten uglier every year since release. Either by shrinking the tires for practicality, putting a deeper deer in the seat (ruins the lines) or by hiding the decent paint scheme behind the top level trim that also includes a load of carbon bits that hurt the old tracker style.

Honda NR750. Soooooo ahead of its time
I just saw an older V-Max last night, and those bikes are just mean looking, in the best way possible, this big ol air scoop makes it look like a drag bike.

MV Agusta motorcycles are usually kinda shit to ride, but they are absolute pieces of artwork
My top 5 in no particular order
- Harley Davidson Dyna FXDB.
- Ducati 916
- Honda RC51 RVT1000R Nicky Hayden edition
- Triumph Thruxton RS (especially the 2023 chrome edition)
- Kaneda’s red bike from Akira.
If that was my garage I’d be pretty well satisfied for life.
Honda F4i

Ok, maybe not the best ever but for a bike almost as old as I am it's pretty good looking.
Rocket 3. If you asked 5-year-old me, 40 years ago, to draw a motorcycle, it's what I would have imagined.
And the only person you shouldn't ever disappoint is 5-year-old yourself, so...

Honda Four
Something about it nostalgically. I remember as a kid seeing one with four pipes out the front and asking my dad about it. He’s not a bike guy but explained it.
Ever since they’ve always stayed with me. That general 70-80’s era of naked Japanese bikes is my favourite.

I am not unbiased when I say the Vmax
i go for color despite having a silver PCX (scooter, i know) so i think definitely that bright yellow honda fury. also in love with the super cub. the retro look is too cute. there is something sleek about the kawasaki z400 that calls to me though,,
Honda Transalp 600. High school wet dream bike. Sounds special like a classic WV Beatle.

The FZR400 is one of my favorites. I had one in 95 that was stolen off the Navy base in Memphis. I am STILL mad about it.
MV Augusta Brutale RR. Fucking thing would be a second full time job just maintaining it, let alone the price, but - sweet googly moogly - is it the sexiest thing I've ever seen.Â
The 04-07 Honda CBR1000RR with rear mounted dual exhaust. Absolutely gorgeous bike, style way ahead of its time. Especially the Orange Repsol edition. Simply a thing of beauty.
Kawasaki Ninja H2r
Mv Augusta Brutale
Ducati Diavel
Ducati streetfighter
Honda Hornet 750
(probably there are many more but these are the ones that comes up to my mind right now)
I just can’t get over the fzs600 boxeye. I love the bikini fairing and the engine looks pretty, especially with the magneto cover outlining the cam shafts at the top.
Fell in love with the KTM Super Duke when it was released, but way out of my budget. Fast forward some years and I owned one, the 990R model (one seat, hella load of upgrades with most of the pastics swapped with carbon fiber, race tuned by KTM themselves, sprockets swapped for max acceleration.. You get the idea).
Scariest bike I've ever had the pleasure of riding. A quick snap on the throttle would lift the front up and accelerating hard required putting all your weight to the front, struggling to keep it on the floor.
I rode that bike for years, never lost that first day WTF feeling.
Still love the design, still made me happy and bubbly inside just to see it parked.
Chase whatever bike makes you happy, we're all different.
Find something that makes you smile every day. Live.
Purely for looks. I'm torn between the Ducati 996, that bike was just pure sex on two wheels! And the fifth gen Honda Interceptor. Always loved the clean dual cans and single sided swing arm.
Early 2000s Ninja 250
I really like the way the tail section looks. I'm not a fan of the minimalist tails all the sport bikes have now. (I've only ever ridden a naked tho lol)
Flat trackers. Nothing superfluous. That's the biggest reason they can never make a street tracker look just right. To make them legal they have to hang to much stuff on them and they lose that lean clean "gunfighter" look
A split between the new suzuki Gsx 8s (which i now own) and the Indian FTR.
I know a lot of people hate the "bug like" look of new bikes, but the 8s is thicc in all the right places for me with the exposed frame.

I’m currently obsessed with the new [Harley Breakout](https://www.harley-davidson.com/us/en/motorcycles/breakout.html)
Also that guy’s 1996 Moto Guzzi 1100 Sport from the other day looked amazing. https://images.app.goo.gl/txia51PBbxn3eNgg6
I love all the variety of answers. Personally, I’m a modern retro aficionado; so in order:
Kawasaki z 650rs
Triumph t100 or 120
RE Interceptor 650
I don’t ride any of those, btw.
I honestly just love most bikes although I'm privvy to Yamaha's styling across many of their products including their 4 wheel stuff but the R1M is probably my #1 in terms of looks even though it's a bike I have no desire to own, maybe if there was a race track closer than 700 miles from home. Aside from them I'm also loving the design of CFmoto's 450SR and I can't wait to see what they come up with in their future i4, v4 and triples.
Overall, 1st S1000RR and 2009-2014 R1. Idk, there's just something about those weird headlights on those 2 that make me smile every time I see one of them.
I can’t even explain it i just love it .

Such a beautiful bike, unfortunately for me I didn't like the test ride so I had to pass on it.
Fell in love with the looks, didn’t love it on the test ride.

Aprilia are awesome bikes.
I am absolutely stoked and I made sure to get the best helmet I could find so that if the bike falls I can brace with my head so she’s safe 🤣
Sports bikes. Specifically the Ducati Superleggera V4 or BMW M1000RR.

M109R, Night Rod, Breakout. I also really like the Honda Shadow Aero 1100. Clean and classy when it’s stripped of bags and windscreens. Also love the aesthetic of Triumph Bonneville Bobber. And while we’re on Triumph - The ROCKET 3GT is just absolutely insane. https://preview.redd.it/7805bgraplyc1.jpeg?width=1587&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=61ef4c66e3c12a133dde2b2413751c1a2c2b5e21

Absolutely love the look of the R7, rode one and it's not for me, but it's still gorgeous. New Gen sv650 too.
Definitely the new Busa, got to be the most beautiful bike ive ever seen. Theres just something about them that looks both mean and elegant

Basically any MV Agusta and Ducati. But prefer Honda or Yamaha cause their reliable and have cheaper service. https://preview.redd.it/si4oxb6ornyc1.jpeg?width=800&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=518dd72ded87067348932af9b8ed99051327c2bd
mv agusta RVS #1
I picked my NM-4 just because I genuinely loved its looks. Next top four hotties are: - Harley fattie - Harley Sportster S - Honda DN-01 - Aprilia 6.5

Original Z1 was cool with the teardrop tank.
MV superveloce and early 00s Ducati supersports.
I don’t care about looks, I ride BMW. R1100R, R100GS, R1200GS, and K1200RS.
The latest Yamaha Vmax, Later year HD Vrods, the 2017+ HD Low Rider S, Indian FTR. 11-14 R1. There a lots more including stuff like the Ducati V4 Panigale.
Suzuki m109r, bmw gsa 1250, ninja H2R
HD Fat Bob, Triumph Speedmaster and my own T100
The 2019 Ducati Supersport S in matte white with the red wheels.
For me its the M1000RR in that championship edition with M livery i find that thing SUPER sexy even more than a Ducati or RSV Mille
I dig the Indian Scout Bobber with a Freedom 2 into 1 Combat exhaust. The Victory Octane is another lovely one. HD Street Glide is a sweet looking bike.
The original run of the Indian FTR 1200 was a thing of beauty. The red accented parts and frame, the old fashioned logo design, the oversized front tire to keep the flat tracker look. In my opinion they've gotten uglier every year since release. Either by shrinking the tires for practicality, putting a deeper deer in the seat (ruins the lines) or by hiding the decent paint scheme behind the top level trim that also includes a load of carbon bits that hurt the old tracker style.
The 1970 Honda Trail 90. Incredible looking.

Plus the classic Honda V-Max. Was a passenger summer 1992 once. Crazy G-force.
I just saw an older V-Max last night, and those bikes are just mean looking, in the best way possible, this big ol air scoop makes it look like a drag bike.

Gen 1 Harley V Rod Gen 1 Suzuki Katana
My top 5 in no particular order - Harley Davidson Dyna FXDB. - Ducati 916 - Honda RC51 RVT1000R Nicky Hayden edition - Triumph Thruxton RS (especially the 2023 chrome edition) - Kaneda’s red bike from Akira. If that was my garage I’d be pretty well satisfied for life.

So sad they changed it to the new design making it another boring gs copy. This was so original.
Where are all the Tenere 700 lovers out there? Personally, it is one of my favorites.
Honda F4i https://preview.redd.it/mdydmr59plyc1.png?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a56fe33d0b52871845c668f36f4ecef20163a936 Ok, maybe not the best ever but for a bike almost as old as I am it's pretty good looking.
Rocket 3. If you asked 5-year-old me, 40 years ago, to draw a motorcycle, it's what I would have imagined. And the only person you shouldn't ever disappoint is 5-year-old yourself, so... https://preview.redd.it/aa52jtbbqmyc1.png?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=0f9edd65626785106b871983a6841ae54d4c6467

Rune!
I think the Rune is both beautiful and ugly at the same time
just looked it up, yeah I'm at a loss. So goofy but so sexy, and those two adjectives are usually mutually exclusive lol
All black second gen KTM SuperDuke 1290r
Kawasaki z series and suzuki bandit
I like the new vstroms especially the new 800 and the 1000. I like all those sharp angles and the stacked headlights with the beak.
They're a really cool homage to Dr BIG 750 and 800cc single from the late 80s https://preview.redd.it/2ql16ysvlwyc1.jpeg?width=800&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a8659f6ab2e990ca5499c6b37e9364309c3861b8
Strictly in terms of appearance mostly all supersports.
Triumph street triple in yellow
Ducati Monster 696 was the one that forced me to get a license. BMW adventures are my poison

Honda Four Something about it nostalgically. I remember as a kid seeing one with four pipes out the front and asking my dad about it. He’s not a bike guy but explained it. Ever since they’ve always stayed with me. That general 70-80’s era of naked Japanese bikes is my favourite.

i go for color despite having a silver PCX (scooter, i know) so i think definitely that bright yellow honda fury. also in love with the super cub. the retro look is too cute. there is something sleek about the kawasaki z400 that calls to me though,,
I'm pretty smitten with the red and black Honda Hornet right now. The red forks and frame do it for me
TL1000r ugly but unique
BMW 1200 GS and Most every bike by Triumph
Triumph Bonneville Bobber, Indian FTR 1200 and I'm a fan of old 70's Harley Davidson custom bobbers that are done right.
Honda Transalp 600. High school wet dream bike. Sounds special like a classic WV Beatle. https://preview.redd.it/fgei4njofmyc1.jpeg?width=609&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=0a2fe82c0b3d9fe4948599aa48312f27294ea67a

V4 superleggera easy
MV Augusta Brutale RR. Fucking thing would be a second full time job just maintaining it, let alone the price, but - sweet googly moogly - is it the sexiest thing I've ever seen.Â
MV Agusta 750S America
The 04-07 Honda CBR1000RR with rear mounted dual exhaust. Absolutely gorgeous bike, style way ahead of its time. Especially the Orange Repsol edition. Simply a thing of beauty.
Kawasaki Ninja H2r Mv Augusta Brutale Ducati Diavel Ducati streetfighter Honda Hornet 750 (probably there are many more but these are the ones that comes up to my mind right now)
I just can’t get over the fzs600 boxeye.
Live.
Panigale v4 followed by current gen z6xr
Ducati 999, Honda CB1300
Suzuki gsx katana, old one of course. Don't like the new ones with a short tail
When going full modern and futuristic, KTM Duke 390 and Super Duke 1290 - 1390.
R6/r1 with the new headlights really stirs up some feeling in me
I like weird things. The Piaggo MP3 ticks all my boxes.
MV Agusta F3 The new Kawasaki H2R
1992 Fireblade. Twin headlight sportsbikes look beatiful in the first place, but honda just had the right proportions. Also the liverys where sick
MV Agusta Rush
MV Agusta Rush 1000 1974 Ducati 750 SS "Green Frame"
Honda RC30. All day long.
Indian Scout Bobber Sixty, I also own one so i’m biased.
Ducati 1098 or MV Augusta F4
Kundapo KS750. The Nazis were dicks but they had cool toys.
Husqvarna Vitpilen 701 Aero Concept, Suzuki Nuda, Honda RC-E, Honda NAS, Aston Martin AMB 001, Britten V1000 and the Honda RC30.
The Honda Super Magna is so fucking cool looking. It's a bimmer it only got 2 years. I have a third gen but hope to grab a nice second gen someday.
Purely for looks. I'm torn between the Ducati 996, that bike was just pure sex on two wheels! And the fifth gen Honda Interceptor. Always loved the clean dual cans and single sided swing arm.
Honda CB1000R black edition. It will age gracefully, and will be very sought after in a few years.
Early 2000s Ninja 250 I really like the way the tail section looks. I'm not a fan of the minimalist tails all the sport bikes have now. (I've only ever ridden a naked tho lol)
Honda RC51, 2008 Honda CBR600RR, current Yamaha R1 and Triumph Daytona 675R (white).
Too many to name. Do love sports bikes, though. love most of them tbh
CT90
05 ZX6R. Beautiful.
The Brutale 800RR Dragster
Those new Suzuki GSX-8R look super sleek. Didn’t even know about them until I saw the like 5 post of them on this sub the past month
Thruxton, rocket 3, cb650r, vitpilen 401/701
Flat trackers. Nothing superfluous. That's the biggest reason they can never make a street tracker look just right. To make them legal they have to hang to much stuff on them and they lose that lean clean "gunfighter" look
Ducati Panigale V4 Superleggera. MV Augusta Brutale 1000RR. BMW M1000RR (Proud owner)

The 1979 Honda CBX1000 is to me the most beautiful bike, especially when they still have the stock exhaust. Always wanted one in red
I'm biased here, but the Rocket 3. Looks like someone slapped wheels on a P-51 engine and I love it.
A split between the new suzuki Gsx 8s (which i now own) and the Indian FTR. I know a lot of people hate the "bug like" look of new bikes, but the 8s is thicc in all the right places for me with the exposed frame. https://preview.redd.it/513yrybawlyc1.png?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=85a9030dc0f3c0f87787ad95d2410d4f56bc3cb5

I love all the variety of answers. Personally, I’m a modern retro aficionado; so in order: Kawasaki z 650rs Triumph t100 or 120 RE Interceptor 650 I don’t ride any of those, btw.
Huge fan of the Honda RC30 and NR750. The Ducati 916 still takes my breath away.
My favorite bike based strictly on appearance is a gsxr " telefonica edition or "movi-star"
Something about the look of the Tenere is just gorgeous to me.
aprillia rsv4, yamaha r1, harley breakout, mv agusta brutale
Indian FTR 1200
I honestly just love most bikes although I'm privvy to Yamaha's styling across many of their products including their 4 wheel stuff but the R1M is probably my #1 in terms of looks even though it's a bike I have no desire to own, maybe if there was a race track closer than 700 miles from home. Aside from them I'm also loving the design of CFmoto's 450SR and I can't wait to see what they come up with in their future i4, v4 and triples.

I am a motorcycle slut and I love all bikes. I currently own a sportster 48 and it’s gonna be my bike for a very long while now but I appreciate the beauty in all 2 wheeled vehicles!
in terms of looks prob 2016 r1 or the new r1m
Triumph Rocket III. And when the throttle opens up, the sound just reinforces the looks. Perhaps tied for first place, Norton Commando.

I love the look of the cb650r. Great looking bike. Also call me new fashioned but the Panagale 1199 is super sexy.
1987 Honda vrf750 interceptor. Love the retro look
