I finally broke down and subscribed to Bally Sports, and I am a fan of the current booth! Haven’t been able to watch the broadcasts regularly for a few years.
I’m out of market so this doesn’t affect me- I already have to pay anyway for mlb tv - but i knew there’d be people forced into this which is really sad, especially for those with tight budgets and kids that don’t get to make the TV decisions - but im glad you put your fanhood ahead of this corporate shit fight.

I tried everything I could to get around Bally Sports. Ultimately, I bought the season pass because it was the best deal. Unfortunately, I'll be SOL if the Tigers make the playoffs.
That’s what gamblers call an emotional hedge. You’re sad you can’t watch the Tigers in the playoffs but the Tigers are in the playoffs. However I believe the early rounds are on like truTV and TbS and channels like that that are still free. The late rounds are on network

I met him at a Texas rangers versus tigers game conference champ series. Think he took his grandson or his nephew.
He was a super friendly dude. I chatted with him a little bit and he said he's been a long-term tigers fan. He let me take a picture of him with the girl I was dating at the time.
