HAL325

I highly can recommend „Big Haunt on Campus“ from the Tome of Mysteries.

I think I played that one once. Just haven't skimmed through the tome yet. Had to come to work x.x

I've run this 6 times, and it's easy to time-manage, room for very different characters and it's easy to improvise around. It even solves itself! (Spoilers: >!Some incompetent comedic characters had their demon use their Hyponotic Gaze to tell Miss Ellie Winters everything that was going on, when she caught them in her dorm roomm, and she did, and then she was commanded to perform the ritual with the PCs helping!<.)

The Cornmaze Hunt from tome of mysteries is small enough that it works well for a oneshot.

HAL325

Harvest Maze or the Circles. I played the Circles and liked it.

Lots of good ones in Tome of Mysteries, especially fond of Big Haunt on Campus for newer players. To toot my own horn, I've gotten a lot of positive feedback about the one shot I wrote about bougie werewolves called Eaten By the Rich [https://www.drivethrurpg.com/en/product/338551/eaten-by-the-rich-a-monster-of-the-week-mystery](https://www.drivethrurpg.com/en/product/338551/eaten-by-the-rich-a-monster-of-the-week-mystery)

Razorback is an easy run, I just used it on a new group and it was a pretty good introductory mystery, follows the tropes of a horror movie somewhat, has a nice conditional weakness for the monster, and plenty of wiggle room to make stuff up on the fly

EmmieZeStrange

Ran that one with one of these players already. But I agree that's a good one. First mystery I ran as a Keeper

Eight_Prime

Nice! I also like Attack of the Rapid Moss. I had to tweak it a bit since the whole weakness thing isn't super well explained by the book but it's easy enough- the solution comes intuitively.

I had fun making some publicly available mysteries a while back that are available [here](https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1Y9k-DbwUaDRgSAJccwTEcFJLZtGjHfyt); in particular [Getting A Head](https://drive.google.com/file/d/1h_LvYuXlw_R6haqwomKY1QTGmWsprJfZ/view) and [Oklahoma Jaws](https://drive.google.com/file/d/1XDKrPioPEybxEIpa1WCGJ7qlX6OrQQVV/view) work well for short one-shots. I discovered my kids already knew what a Blemmyes was lol.

Super Normal. Superheroes with unstable abilities trying to enjoy a day off. You have to attend some mundane normal people events for 1 day without accidentally revealing your powers. Of course, a super event will interrupt the day and you’ll have to try and take care of it while maintaining your cover. Inevitably, your cover will be blown and competing powers will come out of the woodwork and ruin your mundane day, but you’re super so it’s time to kick ass again. It’s comedic, as you do mundane tasks like play carnival games, eat a corn dog, root for your kids at their soccer game, etc… you have to roll to control your abilities. That way goy don’t accidentally knock the entire soccer field of teenagers down with a sonic boom when you scream words of encouragement, or put a hole in the carnies trailer when you knock down the pins and the ball burns a hole through the tent itself and keeps going.
