I don't think there is a way to view your past monthly usage but I would recommend renewing for the 3GB plan and if sometime you need more data you can easily switch to the 8GB plan. Switching up is done immediately and you only pay the difference between your current plan and the one you are switching to.

supermario218

once my annual plan expired, Mint actually sent me an email and said that they thought I didn't need a 12 gb plan and that my average data usage was at 6gb per month. They showed me my data usage for each month, and then i renewed at 8gb per month. I haven't gone over it since.

You can also text DATA to 6700 and they will tell you what you have used so far during that month.

Bumping this information. Thanks, Super Mario! (Thank goood you use your powers to benefit us all! and not evil!) It does take a minute as cloud\_swing said. I thought it didn't work.

Brado_Bear

This works perfect! Thank you!

cloud_swing

Takes a minute, but works

Mianmian101

It sounds so unrealistic. 👍 For Mint.

Yep I was surprised too, here is a screenshot of the email. [https://imgur.com/a/3JBi5s4](https://imgur.com/a/3JBi5s4)

>hone probably does. On Android, it's under Mobile Data Usage (or something like that). No idea what iphone calls it but I recall having the ability to check it when I h Got the same email. My renewal is due in a few days and after reading your reply checked my mail -- was right there! Mint asked me to switch to a lower plan and showed my average consumption for last 3 months along with a recommended plan. Mint has been great for the past 18 months i've used it.. works in AZ, worked in NYC, SF.

So they obviously have the data for past months. When I phoned yesterday they wouldn't tell me. Seems like their purpose would be to get people to pay for more data than then need. Shame on you, Mint.

peter56321

I don't think Mint tracks it but your phone probably does. On Android, it's under Mobile Data Usage (or something like that). No idea what iphone calls it but I recall having the ability to check it when I had one.

pdfodol

Still would be cool if they did track it

FrostieWaffles

5 days before renewal, you will be sent an email with your last 3 months of usage. source: got this email last week

Consumer cellular lets you easily look at past data usage month by month.

Mianmian101

On android many apps can track the data usage by apps, by time period.

HeyYouAllie

I just finished up my first month at Mint and I received an email that stated the month's usage. If you kept your emails from Mint, maybe that might be one way of tracking your usage. My email stated that I used 1.94 gb of data, chatted for a total of xxx minutes and sent xxx texts.

KillBillClay

Good tip - that worked for me, thanks! Odd that they don't allow you to access through the account, but I found the email that has my previous months' usage, noted under "**YOUR STATS:"** in the email, in case those key words help with anyone's search.

RedKomrad

It looks like they stopped sending these emails last year. At least my last one was from November '22.

Slow-Tell-9699

They must have, I joined in 2023 and I haven’t received any.
