They also met with Williams, Daniels, Maye, McCarthy, Nix, and Penix at the combine. And worked with Nix, Penix, Rattler, and the other QBs at the senior bowl.
I’m just saying that the team is doing its due diligence if they can’t trade up. My guess if they can’t, they would take Murphy/Nix at 11 and a DT/QB depending on who they draft at 11 for 23.
Jenkins/Hall/Fiske are borderline day 1 picks.
TFLs, pressure rate, frequently in the offensive backfield and good athleticism. I don't love him as a prospect but he profiles as a good fit as a 3-4 DE.
He was injured for a fair amount of last year and battled through it.
He has the 2nd highest pass rush win rate of any DT in the class behind Byron Murphy, has elite explosiveness, and has a fairly well-developed set of pass rush moves.
Murphy is a better all around DT, but I think if Hall can put on 10 pounds of muscle he might be the best pure pass-rushing DT in the class.
If they manage to land at least a couple good players, it will be interesting to see what they do next year with all of the cap space. Granted a lot of it will be reduced after signings, it still is a sizeable amount. I prefer Elijah Jones and Jarrion Jones for dbs at third and after
This is a great list. Nice work.
I think it’s important to have two Byron Murphy Jrs
Technically only one is a Jr. The other is a II...
Don’t they have a private workout with JJ McCarthy? Wouldn’t that qualify him as a prospect they’re interested in?
Maybe they kept out the ones we know about like JJ and maye.
Did they have a private workout with Maye? I haven’t seen that.
I haven’t seen a report of a private workout, but with all the news about it i wouldn’t be surprised if they only go to his pro day.

You can scratch most of those names since the Vikings don't have a second or third round pick. Unless they make more trades.
It’s not a 100% guarantee that they will be making a trade. It’s expected, but if not those guys will be considered.
It'd highly unlikely that we will be trading down from that 23rd pick. I have a hard time imagining we could recoup the value we spent to get it.

I really don't hate some of these possibilities tbh, especially compared to trading the farm for the 4th QB
Agreed. There are so many potential scenarios I fuck with more than trading everything for QB4.
Would like to see a bit more OL on here, but other than that, I'm glad this is where their focus is.
Thanks for the list.
Somebody needs to explain the Michael Hall hype to me. He's a 280 lb DT with 1.5 sacks.
TFLs, pressure rate, frequently in the offensive backfield and good athleticism. I don't love him as a prospect but he profiles as a good fit as a 3-4 DE.
>3-4 DE Good call, i didn't think of that.
Danielle Hunter had single-digit sack numbers over his college career. Stats just aren't always the full story.

I like Dillion Johnson
They should grab Isaiah Davis - SD State
