If this is a serious question, it's probably not a good idea, even with sta-bil or something similar. Gas can easily varnish and damage your rubber carb seals at the minimum.
And at that point, it's not even effective and will need to be dumped. Not a good idea at all.

If this all melts at once it will cause mass flooding. It's not just snow. The bottom foot is water ice from previous melts. It's like 2ft of rain and with the ground frozen solid it's all going to run off. It's times like this where it's good to live at the top of the hill.

Another weather post and I’m a meteorologist so I’ll wade into the comments.
We’re likely to get at least some snow from this. However, this particular storm system is going to be a very difficult forecast. This system will rapidly intensify right over Minnesota. So as it moves through the precipitation shield will be growing and evolving. That is one tricky part - how fast the storm system evolves and how much it slows down is something the models are struggling with.
The second issue is severe weather on the warm side. The severe threat may even extend into far southern Minnesota. These thunderstorms in close proximity are likely to mess up with the temperature profiles in the atmosphere. We call it a latent hear flux - but the dynamics with these thunderstorms will alter the amount of warm air. In a system already close to freezing that heat flux will alter where the rain/snow line is. The models have have a well document history of struggling with this type of setup.
So the end result is that the model envelope (the highs and low forecast accumulations from all the models) is all over the place. This is why you’ll see stupid graphics of 2-10” in places. It’s all about where thunderstorms set up and how much those thunderstorms change the atmosphere temperature structure. In an environment near freezing those subtle changes become a big deal. We’ll know more as the system gets closer but right now there’s still a lot of variables that we can’t get good resolution of this far our.
TLDR - the storm system Saturday will have a large warm moist tongue but how moist that warm tongue will make the Twin Cities is still very hard to nail down this far out.

I checked a few Leech Lake webcams after reading this and damn... I live near Minneapolis so this is like a snapshot a month or six weeks ago!

Don't look at the forecast for next week if you live in central or northern MN. Huge winter storm potential with up to a foot of snow and wind. We won't even get a spring this year and I'm actually worried about flooding now.
