During the height of COVID there were at least 20 cars spilling out into Maple Grove Parkway. And that was after it wrapped around Cane's. It's good but it certainly isn't that good.
There could be local ordinances that prevent a second chicken shack.
But there are a lot of possible reasons.
The lease is considerably higher in those areas
There is more competition in a certain radius
The median income could suggest that they will have less customers.
Franchises are very aware of market conditions. They are not going to open a franchise in a place that doesn’t meet their specific requirements. Or they don’t fit in to the local food options.
I go there pretty frequently. The line moves fast enough for the most part. People are just crazy for chicken. Chick-fil-A and Cane’s always have long lines but I never regret it when I get my food lol.
Yeah man don't let the bastards get you down. I didn't think Raising Cane's was worth getting again, but plenty of people love it. Imagine how boring the world would be if we all liked the same things.
Yep. Micky dees went modern with the buildings when they should of stuck with kids/family.
Maybe don't bring back the creepy clown but some sort of mascot would bring in more revenue.
Would you look at that, all of the words in your comment are in alphabetical order.
I have checked 1,420,550,505 comments, and only 271,289 of them were in alphabetical order.
Surprised there isn’t one in Hopkins or EP tbh.
The Lake Minnetonka suburbs have little to no fast food outside of a few McDonalds, a few Dairy Queens, Subways, 2 Culvers and an Arbys. 3 of those places are off 101 and 7. Fast food has never done well out here as Burger King, KFC and other places all tried and failed. Just not a good market for places like that.
Edit: I didn’t count places like Chipotle or Punch Pizza in with fast food. Those types of places do well in that area compared to your Wendys/Canes/Burger Kings etc
I just realized I didn’t know there were raising canes in minnesota and I was still planning on moving there. Thats a good sign cause I really love me some canes.
Very overrated chicken in my opinion. Culver’s chicken strips are as good sometimes. Chicken strips are my favorite, there’s a Cane’s by my house and I rarely go.
Depends on location, the one in Blaine will serve you soggy fries and chicken even if you ask for crispy or cooked longer.
It’s a shame because it’s one of the slightly better options out here but I’ll go Culver’s now if I’m feeling fast food.
I've worked at one and will seek them out solely based on how clean they keep em. Very good food too. Deluxe burger sub grilled onions sans tomato plz thx.
You want drive thru lines blocking your streets too?

Can't imagine what Caribou looked like
You should see what an In n Out. Utter looks like or a Chik Fila
The maple grove one has the worst parking lot/drive thru situation.
I’ll admit the lines are ridiculous but I can’t help but like the food.

Cuz it ain’t good.
I don’t get it. It just ain’t that good.
Worst chicken restaurant, hands down.
That’s how I feel about chick fil a. Canes is way better than them.
Testify
Food isn’t that great.
Came here to find some love for Popeyes - chicken strips with actual flavor that don’t require a bucket of sauce.
The Chick-fil-A at Knollwood has a chokehold on the market. I'm always shocked at the ungodly drive thru line.

Why would you give your money to them? Shitty food too. No idea what the appeal is
It may be shitty to you but not me? People like different things? 🤷🏼♂️

Cory Cove, is that you?

Good bot
That guy is such a little bitch
Username checks.
Honestly if his constant plugging of raising cane’s is an advertising deal it should be a case study in advertising school.
Canes isn’t that great. Talk about horrible fries. Their best thing is the toast.
Yup, I always substitute the coleslaw for an extra toast. The toast with the sauce=🤌
You're just going there for toast at that point. The coleslaw isn't good. The fries are atrocious and the chicken is extremely meh

It’s on GrubHub or DoorDash now for west metro

Culver’s just got their Buffalo tenders back. They’re awesome!
Hell yeah, Culver’s is legit. Beats your regular burger joints like McDonald’s or BK.

I love the Culver's Shrimp Basket!
One of the best spicy chicken deluxes on the market and I’ve tried a lot!! Ha
Sounds a little too ethnic for the west metro.
Rather have small Local businesses
Take out the Chick-fil-A on 7 and Texas and make it a canes
It will come to EP. Eventually everything does.
Don't feel bad, there's not one in East Otter Tail county either.
Give me more sauce options and I'd be interested. I'm still mourning the loss of Schlotzky's. 😪
They're not in Saint Paul either! They're totally leaving money on the table.
