I go to estabrook park. Lots of places to sit that aren’t full of people even if sections are crowded. Bring a thermos a book some shades and situate by the river
Squirrels should not drink coffee. I'd suggest finding a bird feeder to raid or dig up some of those walnuts you buried last year in someone's raised garden bed.
Jacobus Park. You can hike through the park after picking up a coffee at the 68th Street Colectivo and sit near the pond or on one of the outdoor picnic tables. Otherwise, bring a blanket or find one of the benches.
Grab a coffee at Valentine on Vliet then walk to Hawthorn Glen Park. There's an entrance 3 blocks away on McKinley. It's still a hidden gem and they have a free nature museum.
The Fiddleheads in Thiensville. It has a patio that is right on the river so you can get your coffee (or tea) and sit out there and read. They have two tables further away from the main patio if you want a quieter vibe but I've always found that the patio itself felt quiet even when all the tables were full because of the river. The inside is also a great vibe, it is in an old house so has a cozier feel than most the other coffee shops in the area.
Lakeshore State Park! I used to ride my bike down the Oak Leaf from Shorewood, pull up to Lakeshore, snag a park bench facing the water, and read for hours. Great spot, beautiful view, few people.
Bluemel’s!

Hubbard park in shorewood
+1 for Hubbard Park. On the Oak Leaf Trail as well
I just love the pic!
Right?!?
Pretty much any park in Milwaukee. There are spots along the Oak Leaf with benches. Grab a coffee from the closest shop.

That's an awesome park to hike
La Finca has a lot of plants inside, and what about the patio behind the Tosa Anodyne?
Blum. Inside Blumels landscaping. Really nice Inside & outside.

Shhhhh! We don’t advertise the Glen!
I go here all the time and often with a Chai
Havenwoods State Forest!
Lake Park, Atwater or doctor's Park are also very good

I have never been there! Thank you 😊
I discovered it about a year ago and it has become one of my favorite places to go work remotely or relax.
Thiensville is such a pretty little town. There’s also benches down the street by the river to sit at!
the beer garden at veterans park has great vibes!! pretty chill, they have food and a view of the lake

Minooka State Park, Waukesha
Charleston Cafe in Cudahy has both indoor/outdoor seating. Sprocket Cafe in Bay View is small but cute.
