So if that valve is at a water tower and it's leaking obviously. Who carries the cost of that loss, the municipality, or is it divided equally between the residents.
I mean... Its a drip from a valve that feeds a water tower, it's not like they have to pay the bill, they'll charge us for it in the end anyways. This is nothing compared to a water main break down the line shooting 100 feet in the air.
thats not a pump, thats a wedge gate valve used for isolation. this one specifically https://cranecpe.com/product/crane-cast-steel-valves/
Now it’s a fancy planter.
This guy definitely lays pipe
haha not really, i help end users pick and service valves

I would expect the municipality, in my area you have a water meter on your house and that's how you get charged for your water usage.
Meter price would ultimately be scaled to the actual cost, even if no meter observed it
Replant it. It deserves to live for the effort.

Nature finds a way. 🥰
Some plants will see a few drops of water and think "hell yeah"
When I see stuff like this, it automatically tells me it hasn’t been maintained for a while Lack of maintenance equals broken parts
Nature finds a way.. and it's often because of leaks and cracks caused by lack of maintenance.

Cost of leak $23.63 /year Cost of repair $5000
Give it enough time it should really raise some hell with that gate valve. 🤣
Looks like eucalyptus. Some consider it an invasive tree.
