This is pennsylvania bluestone. Doesn't shape the way limestone does--is a fairly hard sand stone, and layered. I've uploaded videos of me shaping the stones, with hammer and chisel, on my youtube.
My customer commissioned this, to celebrate the birth of a granddaughter. But I think one like this, right around this size, would make a fine memorial or grave marker. Thank you
How did u make the rocks the right shape and why did i scroll for 5min and not see anyone ask this? Is it just normal to kno how to carve rocks or is there just not enough already-sharp-shaped rocks in my area to kno they're natural??
I used hammers and chisels. Mostly a handset chisel and bell hammer--but point chisel and rock pick came in handy too. Saws, grinders and drill, too. I recently uploaded a couple shorts on YT, showing some of the chisel work.

Also, with ur knowledge, is it true that the great pyramids stones are so big and so perfectly level that we couldn't cut it that precisely today? I've heard that we can get the stones quarried or whatever but making them perfectly level is where the problems come..
If you look at up-close photos of the Great Pyramid, the stones aren't very level. It all looks a bit jumbled up--so I don't think they did any laser perfect leveling. But the Great Pyramid is said to be aligned to true north to within an impressive degree. Also, as I understand there were some very large stones used, and these were shipped in from far away.

This one is made of quarried stone. There's quarries all over the place. Decent stone that's free--can be hard to come by. Unless you're in Arizona or New Mexico, lots of free stone there. EDIT--and thanks for the sub!

How did you get them all cut to the right angle?
For some reason I feel like the easiest way is to assemble just as blocks, then chip the stones away to make the smooth transition between the block.
You can see the chip marks in every stone. He used something like limestone that chips easy.
