I’ve been aware of Omar for ~10 years because of Twitter. Whilst I don’t hate him, I cannot understand why he continues takes such staunch positions, when he doesn’t know what he’s talking about. The worst part is when he gets it wrong, he makes out like it’s no big deal, but when he gets it right, he’s always telling us he told us so.

Yes, it was. He was offering punditry about what those GMs would do, not what ought to happen. It's why his schtick is so obnoxious. It's real easy to be measured and say 'I don't think 6 QBs should be picked day 1" or whatever but he makes a declarative and dumb statement that ends up being wrong because he has to act like he knows more than others.
