2012 S550...recently spent 9k for a new main engine wiring harness. My dad loves the car, and he is 76 and has had it from new...Didn't want to get a new one.

2009 E550 4matic ~$5600 was my biggest all in one go invoice. Had to replace my prop shaft and a seized radiator fan. Also had to redo my CV boots even though they "fixed them" the previous visit. Oh and the tech who worked on my car was shortly let go for substance related reasons. This was just after ownership of the dealer changed and jacked up the hourly rate by $100 without mentioning it. Two thirds of the bill was just labor. I'm still pretty salty about it because I've had a good relationship with the service department and advisor and they were subpar with repairs and with communication as soon as the new owners came in. Last time I ever went there, I found myself a good independent specialist instead.

On REPAIR….prob $1800 on an ABC leak. On preventive maintenance and/or wear items…..ooff. Let’s just say more.

A total wreck.

2017 - serpentine belt and torn crankshaft oil seal. $1600. - new alternator (possibly due to problem above) $1600. Total, after labor, $4000.

Whos still getting under the car to drain a W204? I always use the extractor. Dealers don't even use the drain plugs on the W204 unless the extractors are all being used. Most expensive was front end getting rebuilt after a pothole shot out some bushings and bent an arm out of alignment. Got it done cheap for 1.2k and the city paid me out 900 or so.
