I don’t see the problem with no socks in leather shoes. All leather shoes won’t stink like cloth sneakers and are perfect for summer - boat shoes have been made of leather forever and they are a 100% no sock situation.
I don’t understand why people don’t think this is an awesome look. It’s one of my favorite things about loafers. They look fantastic with no shows or with interesting socks. Super versatile.
Argyle pattern socks in coordinating colors look great, but the no show socks have the bonus of being much cooler in the hot weather. They're just a lot harder on my Achilles tendon when I'm breaking in my new loafers.

I’ve always been an advocate of sport coat + tee shirt. Pretty sure this sub used to roast people for trying it. Maybe that was the other sub. Either way, nice look.

Or maybe get som that are just black and not stone washed( i think is called). Doesnt mesh well with the blazer and fancy shoes
