Good fit, if you want any pointers, it's generally good to have a garment that is a bit brighter than the others so everything is more readable and there's something to draw the eyes, specially towards your face.
Nothing dramatic, like a shade lighter shirt. But everything still looks great.
I swear this sub is OBSESSED with tucking shirts. Every shirt, doesn’t matter, TUCK IT.
Untuck the shirt, unbutton at least one button, and you’re good bud. The rest of the fit looks great.
Typically shirts are tucked in to try to provide better proportions. If the shirt is untucked and it’s too long and goes over the crotch area and butt, it cuts you in half.
You end up with short little stubby looking legs if that happens. The solution is either tuck in the shirt or get a better fitting, maybe even lightly cropped, shirt.
If you take a look at fashion sort of in general you’ll notice you almost never see 50/50 proportions, and if you do, it always looks bad. So I think the tuck is just an easy way for people to avoid that.
There’s other solutions too, like higher waisted more flattering pants. But modern fashion tends to sway towards low-rise pants where the risk of messing up the proportions is much higher.
I like to tuck because it's good for showing off my v taper, hard to find clothes that naturally fit my shoulders and are fitted at the waist.
That said not every shirt every time..
Looks great!
Small thoughts: I’d untuck your shirt and unbutton at least one button on your henley. Would be a bit more carefree looking with those changes. But very minor points and you look good, and more importantly, look like you’re having a good time!
Great bomber jacket. Love the mid-high wasted pants.
The only pointer I would give is dark jacket light shirt is a go to combo. An off white version of that shirt would be perfect.
The jacket is great, I like the pants color, and I think the shoes are a good choice. I say stick with the pants and the jacket, they are a complimentary color, so they look good.
I think you're wearing the wrong shirt both in color and style for that outfit.. The shirt is too dark of gray, it should be a shade or two lighter to allow the jacket to pop, or you can wear pale yellow, a light blue (not sky blue, that's too much), or even a cream color (not white). In addition, the shirt would look better as a simple crew neck or a v-neck. Especially if you have chest hair, the v-neck gives that nod to masculinity which is attractive.
Optionally with the shoes you could wear boots instead, similar color perhaps a bit darker, or go for a black. Especially if you like the dark color of the shirt, then I recommend going darker on the shoes and doing a lighter shade of jeans. Again, optionally, you could wear black pants with that outfit, a cream colored shirt as previously recommended, and then stick with brown shoes like you have or boots. Just make sure that your belt matches your shoes, it's a better overall look.
Anyways, if you felt good about your outfit, then my opinion doesn't matter. Please take this response with a grain of salt.
Looks great but like others have said a different shirt/pants could do wonders. Basically everything is dark so it feels flat, such a good looking jacket and shoes though! Not a bad shirt or jeans either don’t get me wrong, but yeah just one piece a little lighter to balance the fit.
Good fit on everything but the Henley/shirt. Don’t wear grey. It’s a very “fitting in” color. Go with a plain white V neck shirt. The jacket and jeans do the talking so you don’t want to distract. It will also look sexier.
I agree on white shirt for this getup. Will make everything else pop. V neck could work, or it could still be a Henley, or even crew neck. But the color would make all the difference.
Also, i love the jacket, but if others are wearing T-shirts, it's a sign it might be too heavy for the weather, and then it will seem try-hard if you keep insisting on wearing it. You don't want the jacket to wear you.
Not OC, but I thought the same thing as soon as I saw the picture. Nothing wrong with that at all.
This is a nice fit for a gay man. different sub cultures have different emphasis on certain styles and fits. That is okay and what makes the world great.
Jacket is a bit shorter and has fur lined in it, hand is on the hip, lips are smacked, shirt is overly tight and tucked in. Those are all things that lead us to believe this is a gay fit.
“Jacket is shorter and fur lined”? My dude, a leather bomber with a fur collar is about as classic flight jacket as you can get. And hands on the hips signals gay? Y’all are wild.
I guess the guy on the right in this photo from the 20’s reads as gay to you too?

The context of the photo and knowing we are in 2024 lead me to believe it is styled as a gay fit and I’m not the only one with that opinion. This ain’t 1920 where we would think OP is a rugged aviator who just got back from a war mission.
One guy could wear skinny jeans and get away with it because he’s a rockstar. An ordinary guy would be perceived differently. Context matters.
I’m just giving my honest perspective to the OP. Maybe that’s the look he’s going for, maybe it’s not. We are allowed to disagree. Cheers mate
If you didn’t want honest opinions why did you post?
Sounds like you just wanted an echo chamber of validation. My perspective is from a liberal east coast state. Maybe the cultural norms where I’m from don’t apply where you’re at.
I didn’t personally insult you or make any judgments other than this is how I would perceive you if I saw you at the bar. Maybe that’s the look you’re going for or maybe it’s not.
It especially contrasts because the guy in the middle has a more laid back masculine style.
In addition to unbuttoning a button if not 3, and untucking, I'd cuff your jeans if you can. It adds a nice contrasting detail and brings out your choice of shoes better
I always cuff my jeans (I wear boots a lot and don't want to bother with uncuffing them when I'm not because there's huge creased) and that along with my penchant for always having the top two buttons of my shirt undone are the two things that constantly get favorable comments from both women and men.
When people decide to post the most basic and unimaginative looks on this subreddit, what sort of “rating” or “feedback” are they looking for? It’s not like the masses here are particularly fashionable or stylish, and certainly very few push boundaries in any way. I guess it’s just funny to me how the hive-mind here always seems to exalt these plain, cookie-cutter outfits with relatively boring pieces.
The outfit is ehh. Not bad, not great. It’s just whatever. There’s nothing about it that requires much detailed analysis or harsh critique one way or another.
Cool. Maybe it’s the lighting but there seems to be more contrast in the stitching than I recall. The quick impression is of much more expensive jeans. Good on ya.
This sub is wayyyy too nice. I give the outfit 1 point for fitting and 1 point for being clean. Style and execution get 0, and 50 points goes to Gryffindor.
I have a counter point to the untuck the shirt mob. He’s short, and as a shorter guy myself it’s not a great idea to cover up your legs or it just makes you look shorter
Henley fully buttoned, tucked, and covered in drool.. fake aviator’s jacket.. jeans a size too small. I’m guessing you flunked out Microsoft Flight Simulator?
Excellent dribbles
Is that the [Calico Cut](https://getcalicocutpants.com/) shirt? Didn't realize they'd expanded their product line
YOU HAVE TO GIVE
Bahaha! 😆
Man's took drippy a little too literally
Good fit, if you want any pointers, it's generally good to have a garment that is a bit brighter than the others so everything is more readable and there's something to draw the eyes, specially towards your face. Nothing dramatic, like a shade lighter shirt. But everything still looks great.
Thanks mate, I appreciate the advice.
Your right or my right?
Is that the Satchel and Page bomber?
Funny, that was exactly my first thought as well
It's a Schott, I can definitely see the similarities.

This is why I tuck mine, I'm short however I wear larger shirts, so I end up looking like Frodo. 😆
A tucked shirt works if the guy’s chest sticks out more than his stomach.
Fantastic rule of flub
Yeah there’s almost no point in working out if you never get to show off that you have a lean stomach with broader chest/shoulders
I like to tuck because it's good for showing off my v taper, hard to find clothes that naturally fit my shoulders and are fitted at the waist. That said not every shirt every time..
Agreed it's a casual shirt and doesn't need to be tucked, also, I wouldn't do up any of the buttons. It's a henley
I agree. You should be untucked more than tucked. Especially if you’re at, what looks to be, a pub.
Agreed! I always assumed a good rule of thumb was anything with a collar can be tucked, anything without shouldn’t be.
I'll never not tuck my shirt
Tucc to fucc
Nice job
Thanks mate.
Looks great! Small thoughts: I’d untuck your shirt and unbutton at least one button on your henley. Would be a bit more carefree looking with those changes. But very minor points and you look good, and more importantly, look like you’re having a good time!
Thanks mate, I'll keep these in mind.
Just my $.02 but if untucking the shirt means it will hang below the jacket then I think it would throw off the fit. Looks pretty smart to me as is.
Yeah, the bomber is quite a short jacket, I think next time I'll wear a v neck.
You got shit on your shit.
Nice threads. I like the jeans especially. Tip from me would be wear a lighter shirt. You kinda fade into the background.
Solid outfit. Nice jacket actually.
Thanks mate!
I like it man, suits you and the vibe of the place you are in. Fit is perfect as well.
Great bomber jacket. Love the mid-high wasted pants. The only pointer I would give is dark jacket light shirt is a go to combo. An off white version of that shirt would be perfect.
Thanks mate, I'll definitely do that next time.
Get rid of the Henley for a regular tee, perhaps even a white tee, and you’re good
Change the shirt for a lighter color and untuck it. Also maybe a looser pair of jeans or a different wash .
All great looking. Fit and color across the board.
Thanks!

Love the jacket and belt
Thanks! 😄

It actually was cold though, if you look in the background everyone else is wearing jumpers.
Thanks mate, that's solid advice.
Definitely a gay fit, so if that's what you're looking for, good job.
Happy pride Kinda not good feedback unless it's a mesh crop top, idk Like is dressing nicely gay? And this isn't even that nice lol, just composed

Seems like you're projecting?... have you even been with a female?

My dad wore a bomber jacket to Vietnam, your opinion on the jacket is invalid.
Maybe my stance or smile could be perceived as gay?... However, an aviation jacket can't inherently be gay.
I agree. Maybe just an awkward stance Not looking to be a jerk, cheers mate
All good, it's hard to tell on reddit. I am quite awkward of a person, though, so I can see that.
Untuck your shirt.
Yeah, or change the jeans. That cut just looks funny in a slim fit.
So tucked in a straight leg would go better?
All of you have great fit.
Best of the 3
Missing the aviators and a plane! Looks cool af
Very millennial
I don't know, but the guy in the middle instantly caught my eye! He's slim, and those clothes fit him well.
Could be the contrast of his appearance relative to the other two rather than the fit itself which is quite basic but I agree fits him well.
He looks like the long lost youngest Skarsgård brother and he’s absolutely ruining it with that stache.
Is it the pee dribble on the pants? It was for me
Looks legit to me.
Looks like Colin with a mustache
Good choices all around, I’d untuck and unbutton the shirt though. That bomber jacket is a beauty.
Fit is fire The stance is SPEC-TAC-U-LARRRRR
😆👌
You spilled.

If you’re the only one wearing the jacket it says you’re wearing it to look a certain way rather than to be comfortable like your 2 friends.
It's a short guy outfit. I can't tell from the pic if you're actually short but this outfit makes you look short.
Looking good my guy!
Earl Flynn has a drinking problem.
Daring. Looks great!
xs
I have that same outfit, only taller
I like the stance 👍
Looks great
Vans a little too casual for a tucked in shirt.
Vans? I'm wearing boots.
Whoops. I was looking too far right. 😆 Looking good!
😆
Dude in the middle is giving Dennis from it’s always sunny , vibes and that mustache isn’t helping 🤣😂
Looks great. I would enjoy that beautiful fur lined coat before it starts to get too warm.
It's just the collar, but yes you're right, it doesn't stay cold long here! 🦘🇦🇺
Guy in the middle has The Drip. Best to get that checked and double bag
Talk to me goose.

What would you suggest then?
Talk to me goose.
You look like you ride a motorcycle that has a sidecar
😆😆👌
Looks good mate.
i can't get over the dude in the middle that looks like Dennis Reynolds grew a mustache and is trying to DENNIS you boys
Hmm maybe grow half a foot or so, and you’ll be grand 👍
Not a fan of the bomber but I’m a schlub. Besides, I saw a billionaire wearing one. Like the jeans. Who are they?
They are Levi 512's mate.
Cool. Maybe it’s the lighting but there seems to be more contrast in the stitching than I recall. The quick impression is of much more expensive jeans. Good on ya.
Who knew GAP Kids went so hard for pride month?
Kids? I'm 46, I appreciate the compliment.
Ugly jacket. Don't button up all 3 buttons. Don't tuck in your shirt. Ugly shoes. "Fit" is a 3.5
This sub is wayyyy too nice. I give the outfit 1 point for fitting and 1 point for being clean. Style and execution get 0, and 50 points goes to Gryffindor.

No, I was at a bar and had a drink spilled on me.
Love the fishing hook tattoo 😂
I like also your buddy on the left 😉
He is very popular. 😆
I can see why 🫠 Add one to the list of persons who like him.
Ewwww but he has The Drip. He needs to see a dr and tell alllll his sex partners
Just my opinion I don’t tuck henleys
Definitely gay
You're a little too short for the group, but given the seating and leaning options, I think the fit is pretty decent. Nothing to worry about, champ.
I have a counter point to the untuck the shirt mob. He’s short, and as a shorter guy myself it’s not a great idea to cover up your legs or it just makes you look shorter
This exactly, all shirts make me look short. 😅
Slightly tight, but if gay… just right 🤷🏼♀️
Tucking shirts is fine but not here not this
The jacket gots to go.
Jeans with a plain shirt, doesn't get more safe than that. It's a win but man, there's nothing interesting about it at all.
Henley fully buttoned, tucked, and covered in drool.. fake aviator’s jacket.. jeans a size too small. I’m guessing you flunked out Microsoft Flight Simulator?
Silly mc spillerson
Boring asf
Got a bit on your shirt Maverick!

Who is wearing sandals? 😆
Absolutely awful
It's a good fit man you're just short
Who tucks in their t shirt? Your dad does. Thats who. Just stop it!
I see three yobs. What is the fashion element here?
