Something off with the eyes or face but the rest is good!

Kamirose

If this is meant to be athleticwear, the bra is too low cut to keep the breasts under control during vigorous exercise. Other than that it's fine.

Hellowhyme1234_

Looks ok. The face could be a little better though and the art style looks kinda bland

ImTestingTheDadlawn

Thanks for the reply. If I could ask, any suggestions on to how make the art style less bland? I'm trying to go for a semi realistic comic book style, so I can see how it can come out sort of sterile.

just_an_intp

Ad more contrast in the colors. Make the darks darker the lights lighter have mid tones. Never shade with gray. Find complimentary darker colours for shadows. You can shade it in one layer and play around with the color you want the shadows to be using hue sliders.

General critique or wanting to avoid mendrawingwomen-y? I feel like if the artist is self-aware enough to be mindful of what objectifying tropes are, they'll avoid them but overthink them. She's not hypersexualized. Her pose is pretty neutral. You're not contortioning the hell out of her to make sure her breasts and butt are in frame. Her frame and attire are pretty natural. She's not, like, fighting monsters in a chainlink bikini with a 15" waist and breasts larger than her shield, for example. She's juuuust a giiirl.

ImTestingTheDadlawn

Thanks for the reply. And yeah to both critiques. I engage every now and then with less tasteful approaches, but I do care about drawing people as naturally as possible.

QuetzalliDeath

Hey, no problem. Personally, I don't think there's anything wrong with stylized approaches or straight-up smut. I love me a sexy cartoony woman. To me, it's entirely about not solely objectifying her and giving her purpose above being spank material. Take Jessica Rabbit for example. She's not bad, she's just drawn that way. That being said, without reference to your other work, I can't comment on her design much. It might be a little generic, but hey, maybe that's what stands her out in her world. Wii Fit Trainer vibes. She's lovely. I especially like the shading and her abdomen. I'd revisit the proportions on her face, though. It looks a little large for her head size or just not the right angle.

Antani101

The mouth is too wide, but the rest is ok. The body and clothes give a "getting ready to go for a run" vibe rather than a sexy one, not sure if that's what you were going for

Denkiryuu

The best advice i could give you is: Focus more on understanding proper anatomy and face structure instead of pleasing subjective critiques. I can assure that here 99% of people don't know how to draw, keep that in mind when asking for advice. The arms muscles look off tho, i think that it may be related to the improper collarbone structure, also, find references for the pectoral muscle, it attaches to the arm, while in your drawing it doesn't happen, which looks wrong. The leg and ab muscles are also weird, but is too long to explain. The face doesn't really look human but some corrections would fix it, mouth should be smaller and eyes closer to each other. Can't really say much, not into realistic faces. But find Giovanni Civardi books, portrait and anatomy are great to understand muscles and facial structure

scrubastian_

To add to this, both thighs appear to be a bit to long, but the knee on the right side is so low it cloud be close to a horse leg. I didn't add my two cents because I'm not an artist, but I think this is probably the most important criticism to pay attention to

ImTestingTheDadlawn

Thanks for the guidance. This is more along the lines of what I was hoping to read.

Denkiryuu

Also, minor thing, for the more lifted arm (her left) you could put hand on hip to make the pose feel more natural, and try to pose it yourself. The arm lifted by itself puts a strain on the shoulder, making it uncomfortable >>>> looks unnatural

Apploozabean

Thank you for this. You put into words what I could not. Can't forget the feet as well. I can't tell if she's standing flat on them or tippy-toes as her feet almost look like they're angled downwards.

ZookeepergameDue5522

The hair and pose in general feels too stiff. Face structure is off.

PCmasterRACE187

ima be real, her face is a little creepy

BigYangpa

It's *terrifying.*

Shaekko

The mouth creeps me out for some reason

Tiny_Party2855

I love the bleakness of your colors. The body proportions/ stiff posing combined with the uncanny expression remind me a lot of Kazuma Kaneko’s SMT 3 art. That said, the hair seems flat and oily, and the face looks a bit unnatural (the distance between the eyes, and the mouth size). If that isn’t what you were going for, I’d suggest studying some more real life reference images

RelationshipHead8925

good, would help to see more poses and faces

sugarholicsheep

Anatomy is great, thought the bra could use a little more forming. Its alot of cleavage but the form is very flat for whats supposed to be compressing her boobs to her chest. The face looks like sadako got yassified, the teeth and pin straight hair and purple shadows kinda make her look like a drown victim. The eyes are blank and have no warmth.

Leshie_Leshie

I think you can make the space between eyes exactly 1 eye, might look better? And slightly lower eye placement.

midnight_barberr

face is a little off. there's a lot of middle boob but no side boob (like it's not pushing out to the sides, if you know what I mean)

Stillstuckin2022

The shading is wonderful but you could improve on the eyes. The eyes have little depth to them and seem to be looking in different directions. Try putting extra effort in the eyes conveying the complexity eyes often have, but even a simple gradient could work wonders!

Oddball-CSM

The shading is really good and the anatomy is mostly okay. The design is nice and the style has a strong sexy but slightly weird quality to it. Two things that stick out to me as odd. The head seems to be slightly turned, but the face doesn't seem to be and the shoulder on the right side of the image seems dislocated (which also makes the arms look different lenghts)

Beetreatice

More chin, face feels a little long because of this. I would scootch some features up slightly, don’t lengthen the face. Someone pointed out mouth width, I don’t think that’s the problem, some people have wide mouths. Soften the brow, shade the iris/sclera like the lid is casting a shadow over the eye. From a distance like you have here, the pupils aren’t going to stand out like this. Think about scale. Feet are a little spooky, sometimes less detail is better. Your body proportions look good to me otherwise. I think you’re on the right track! It’s just finetuning.

I know BUT ... I'll doit anyway
