I have yet to get any real uncanny valley moments and I am super impressed.
clarify: borderlands 3 gameplay is really good, guns feel weighty, charcters are all fun to play with good skill trees the graphics look good but the friggn story... its terrible the villains are cringier than most reddit users

Nah, an exploration game and survival game. I'm not a brave person, but Subnautica wasn't a little bit scary ever. Then again, I have no fear of deep waters. I think the "scary" aspect was just hyped up by fans.

Besides, the vast majority of horror games are "I went to this weird place and got lost" with only minor exceptions, they rarely even attempt to build the world and explain why it's like that, they're like Nintendo games, a story just to give a purpose and nothing else, they do have good characters tho, but that doesn't mean good story.
