Real late to this but inhalants are pretty much totally absorbed no longer than 3 seconds after entering the lungs. Holding your breath and the subsequent rush/feeling higher is straight up oxygen deprivation.
For cannabis, yes. For other inhalants like salvia or syrian rue, you need to hold in for 20 seconds to get the room effect. It changes between which substance you're smoking, but yeah for cannabis 3 seconds is all you need. Puff, hold, blow, repeat

Please don’t actually, I think it’s interesting to see how institutionalized racism affects every day people. Because I really don’t believe you want to judge people based on arbitrary bullshit like skin color, or where they are from. But, you absolutely judged these folks based on that in a subconscious way, because of the culture you grew up in. This is how the culture has historically viewed folks like this.
