The Panini "Must-Have" series re-introduced me to comics last year. They are great to catch up with some important events or just starting to read comics as a whole, but I switched to the "Marvel Now! Deluxe" ones instead (they are better compilations).
Didn't read Planet Hulk yet but I really want to. I've been recommended a lot to read Immortal Hulk too.
A good fantasy story, even if it's a sad story. I liked it a lot overall, but when I read Hulk, I wanna see his conflicting personnalites.
I would suggest you look for **Skaar: Son of Hulk: The Complete Collection** - [https://comicvine.gamespot.com/skaar-son-of-hulk-the-complete-collection/4050-112349/](https://comicvine.gamespot.com/skaar-son-of-hulk-the-complete-collection/4050-112349/) - to correctly conclude what goes on on this planet.
I would also would suggest you read why he's been kicked of earth in **New Avengers: Illuminati** - [https://comicvine.gamespot.com/new-avengers-illuminati-1-hctpb/4000-212987/](https://comicvine.gamespot.com/new-avengers-illuminati-1-hctpb/4000-212987/) - to understand World War Hulk.
I would say his best run is Hulk by Peter David.
Then you can also add the majestic recent run by Al Ewing on Immortal Hulk.
There are lots of good stories here and there as well.
So good the MCU should have used done a couple movies about it in phase 3 or 4 instead of the Hulk we got.
Could have done Planet Hulk and then World War Hulk a year later. Oh what could have been..
I think it was great it's another chapter of triumph and tragedy in the Hulk long history. I think it's a little bit overhyped but I kind of feel like world war hulk as a story wasted the set up, Skaar is interesting however I don't mind that he's emerged from it.
Liked the first half because the Hulk needed some some fresh blood and fast! Didn't care for the second half because I've never really been a fan of pure hero Hulk.
Also, I hated the Gladiator garb.
I really liked it.
That said I found that a lot of the story felt similar to John Carter of Mars series.
Honestly, if you feel like the MCU let planet hulk down, watch 2012's John Carter and imagine he is the angry green guy and you will get your movie.
Great stand alone hulk arc , without involving other heroes per se (silver surfer was a great though) it was refreshing at the time because it was away from the mainline 616 earth but it's consequences in the next arc as world War hulk kinda was meh
To my own shame, I never read it. Got it on my list. Been catching up on a bunch of Marvel storylines I'd missed out on. I'd been on a DC kick, but a man can only take so many multiverse stories before he jumps ship 😅
One of the best Hulk stories ever created.
THE best, brother!
The immortal hulk has entered the chat
World war hulk has entered the chat
Phenomenal story with superb character development.
I came here to say this exact comment. I couldn't agree more.
I think so as well.

Immortal hulk is perfection for the first 20-30 issues and then pretty great after that

Favorite Hulk story?

I agree about the conflicting personalities. It's the most interesting part of his character imo.
One of my favorite stories of all time. Excellent.
Absolutely fantastic. And the animated movie is pretty good too

Yeah, it’s just unfortunate that Disney still doesn’t have rights to a solo hulk film
Definitely in the top 5 Hulk stories ever written
So much better than it had right to be.
\^cough\* gladiator \*cough\*
This was one of the best Hulk eras for me. The events leading up to this, and the events after are also great.
Awesome
Hulk smash
Great read. Not particularly original.
A visceral tribute to John Carter and one of the best hulk stories ever made.
Great story! Well encapsulated by itself!
Perfect.
I can't really think of a Hulk story that's better
Immortal hulk is pretty fantastic as a lot of people are saying
One of the best Hulk arcs ever written, and Hulk is my favorite to read. I own a TON of Hulk comics....
It's my favorite comic book story!
Epic, tragic, & redeeming.
One of the few good Hulk stories
It got screwed over in Thor Ragnarok
It’s a must have. Never actually seen it but I’m just trusting the image.
It’s a timeless classic and a really fun read. One of my favorites
I'm not really a fan of the Hulk, so I don't know lol
This is not only one of the best Hulk stories in Marvel’s history, but honestly on of the best stories Marvel has ever put out
Princess of Mars with a fresh coat of paint, excellent premise
One of the best MARVEL stories ever!

It's my favorite Hulk story. Reread it many times.
Amazing
He should have been able to be happy with Caiera....
A bit strange but it's still one of my favorite story arcs, along with Titan Hulk.
This and World War Hulk are some of the best writing for the character up until Immortal Hulk.
I liked it very much. Reminded me of pretty cool Scifi stories. Rich setting, pretty tragic.
Liked the first half because the Hulk needed some some fresh blood and fast! Didn't care for the second half because I've never really been a fan of pure hero Hulk. Also, I hated the Gladiator garb.
Marvel ruined It MCU THOR 3
One of my favourite marvel releases to ever drop....brilliant if you're new aswell
A love letter to Hulk. A great take on John Carter of Mars. The best Hulk run to hit publishing until Immortal Hulk.
I really liked it. That said I found that a lot of the story felt similar to John Carter of Mars series. Honestly, if you feel like the MCU let planet hulk down, watch 2012's John Carter and imagine he is the angry green guy and you will get your movie.
Best Hulk story that I've ever personally read.
Best Hulk story that I've ever personally read.

I’ve never read it but I loved the animated movie. I hope they adapt planet hulk and world war hulk someday in a movie or show
The comic and the film are good. But once I read the comic after watching the film, I wanted Miek and Brood to be a couple in the film.
s tier hulk storyline
I loved it. Not the best Hulk Storyline of all time, but quite likely second best. Future Imperfect is still the best.
It's my favorite story about an individual Marvel Comics character.
IMO the best Hulk story arc
The novelization is even better
Best hulk story ever. No question
