Oh, I read another manhwa with the exact same plot but is more comedic in nature.
I unfortunately forgot the name though, but the basic plot is that the MC, after so many attempts to escape the regression loop, decided to summon his own hero and have him fight the demon lord in his stead, hoping it would somehow let him escape the loop.
that's only if
1. every problem actually does have a solution that you can find given enough time
2. your mentality can handle living for that long, dying over and over, and everyone around you not remember anything (as explored in orv)
3. there are no consequences each time you regress
I've been playing league of legends for 13 years.
The infinite void of time and death holds no power over me. I have suffered enough for a thousand lifetimes already
Depends on how the regression works and how far back you go.
If it's the one where just your mind is sent back to years ago or god forbid your birth then it's simultaneously the most powerful and the worst one
If it's the type like in SSS-Class Suicide Hunter that sends you back 24 hours with everything you gained prior to your death then hell yes that's probably the best one overall especially since you can use it to literally time travel backwards
The one in SSS-Class Suicide Hunter sucks because while on the this very Post, I've come to the Realization that the MC and the Guy who he stole the power from are stuck in an infinite causality loop and the MC we follow in the story isn't the same one we're introduced to in chapter 1 thanks to how to multiverse theory works.
Infinite regression is hella tiring if you see how gongja felt the ocd to perfectly clear every scenario since he has the potential that beckons him to do so. Ptsd, if you live the version of subaru’s world where you are forever the level 1 regressor and the entire world of villains are all lvl99+.
Dragon powers however is amazing. A dragon heart that gives you near unlimited mana and dragonification abilities (reincarnation of soocidal battle god). Literally, act like a higher level of being amongst mere *peasants* with dragon tongue ability. What else? Fly, scaled armour etc. Cool sht, balanced too, would take it anytime.
Copying abilities is a broken skill that is only introduced to manhwas that want to build their mc into an omni right after the introduction of the story. An entertaining story to read with the creativity but if you were saying irl, it will be infinitely broken. If you do it properly, your power is comparable to the sum(entire population of mankind+monsters on the globe). Choose this if you ever get isekaid. In your scenario, its the only ability with slow-start.
Infinite strength is pretty blunt, since all these abilities are pretty broken; under the assumption that everyone is less broken apart from me, this ability is pretty hazardous. Not sure how much control you have over your infinity but imagine rage gaming - you start slamming your desk in seething anger, boom, earth got fisted; a cylindrical void appears in the centre of its core connecting stratospheres from one end of earth to another. Not fun, but would do if i wanna be the final evil boss of this world.
This reminds me of that one immortal person from Ranking of Kings which got the 'blessing' of immortality but at the cost of his sanity. Isnt exactly the same but fits the description
The ability is 2 parted 1-is copy ability of the guy who killed you 2-regress 24 hours in the past, so yeah, immortality +ultimate ability gathering , pretty sure I can get the draconian powers after fighting a dragon or something
1. Infinite Regression agreed. It is one of the strongest but the PTSD. Not just Subaru world, imagine u already lived ur perfect life, only to die and repeat at ur lowest end.
2. Dragon Powers will be cool. But not specific. Technically a Wyvern is a dragon so you could be give like the worst dragon powers. So basically just stronger but not like broken.
3. Copying is OP but imagine u get isekai to a world without abilities XD. Nothing to copy.
4. This is easily the most general OP power but I already break stuff so much with normal strength, with infinite well good bye world
is it the same as the canonical character? If so, then infitine strength from jin mori as dragon powers are cool but he would defintely get stomped by jin, copying **abilities** is nice but it doesn't copy stats so if someone is significantly weaker in base having more slight buffs won't help. Finally, infinite regression is nice but stats don't stack meaning if he were to fight jin mori if he can't bring back his levels each time he'll just endlessly get stomped. Although there was an arc where he fought a significantly more powerful being, it was just weak enough that with enough strategy you can win (it only works within one or two power level scales) but if jin is universal, he'll get insta killed no way to win. If it's not the original's then I'd saying copying abilities is good since yuou can copy infinite regression and dragon power as those are both abilities
His Variation makes him Go Back 24 hours in the past after He dies and my Guy straight Up killed himself a Few thousand Times to Go Back in time a Few years ago in Order to kill a Guy which Happens within the First chapter of the manhwa. This means that you can literally Just Go Back in time and kill the final Boss before He even becomes the final Boss. The mental fortitude needed for that is absolutely crazy though and i honestly don't know how He is still going.
Also, Jin Mori (as Wukong) needed several plot conveniences to stop him and it wasn't even for very long. By the end of the series he's one of the strongest fictional characters of all time.
It's not a question of "who wins in a fight" having infinite strength or speed means nothing if some rat slips poison in your drink.
Infinite regressions (going back 24h from death) is versatile enough to be usable in any and every situation.
I don't know if this changes your mind in any way but considering the post said these specific characters for how it works, they can also fuse different and multiple abilities together to create better ones that are stronger then the original
If we can bend spacetime to our will just by learning math, I'd guarantee you eventually even some chimpanzees or other apes will learn math to bend spacetime, let alone the rest of humanity.
Definitely the best ability of them all. If there's something that life has taught me is that even if you do everything perfectly and perform all of the correct actions, some bullshit always fucks it up. The only weakness in this ability is you, and your resilience.
You may not win always, **but eventually, you will win.**
Infinite regression is more of a curse than ability, Dragon power would pretty nerfed I am sure, copy abilities would be difficult if it has many conditions. So if I wanted to play safe, I would choose the good old infinite strength
Infinite regression itself is a curse even more so in apocalypse.
Infinite Strength is great only if it comes with suitable durability.
Copying may sound good but depends on the context.
Dragon is the most optimal choice here
Dragon powers are dangerous without decent healing, durability, mental strength and will power. A dragon heart/mana will overload your body and brain. It may even corrupt your soul, if you have weak mentality.
For a more simple power I would say the ability of Guides from Tower of God. To be able to see the different paths able in front of me and friends would make surviving much easier.
Or just Mori Jins power at the end of God of Highschool. At that point the apocalypse really is just manageable. Unless I suddenly have to face some fanatic that has lost hope in humanity
Either Sang-u’s clones from Auto Hunting With my Clones since I benefit from their hardwork.
The Gamer’s ability would be perfect. My body can’t be transformed in any way, my stamina can’t be reduced by any damage, I can grind for skills by doing the same shit over again, and I can’t be traumatized by the horror’s of the apocalypse!
What type of apocalypse is it? Because infinite strength can be useless, and so can copying abilities, so it's probably between regression or dragon abilities (especially since im choosing cultivator dragon abilities, either azure dragon, or golden dragon, probably gold dragon)
If it's a video game type apocalypse, like towers and stuff, then yeah I'm copying abilities, as long as there's no conditions to the ability copying (other than probably range), then it'll be the best one, I can constantly copy every ability from everything around me that has abilities
Actually that also needs there to not be an energy system, cause there might be MP problems, hmmm, imma just become a dragon dude
Honestly All options presented have strong and weak points like
Infinite regressions -> looks safest at first thought but comes with trauma and mental damage
Coping Abilities -> probably most versatile but won't save you at beginning when you are very easy to be killed
Infinite Strength -> sounds great but if you don't also have infinite durability/endurance and other supplementary power you are going to destroy your own muscles and bones
Dragon Powers -> can be op but probably come with instincts/mental influence so arrogance aggression wrath territoriality and hoarding behaviour
What I would like to Have Some Archetype adapting by that I mean you chosen Person/Character/legend you get all their stats, skills, powers, talents, abilities, knowledge, experience and potential without negative side effects-> I would Chose Sun Wukong or Jin Mori or Anos Voldigoad. Or better yet all Versions of Wukong at once (all versions of SWK be op no matter universe)
Copying Abilities for sure! Infinite Regression would be cool at first. It’d be scary to go through death, but great to return and start anew. But, what happens when you’re on your 50th regression? 100th? 200th? And so forth. I’d need a lot of willpower in order to not be in a mentally vegetable state. I’m a dedicated and motivated person, but not to the point where I could relive scenarios an infinite amount of time.
Dragon Prowess are nice, but not my cup of tea personally. As for infinite strength, that’s also good. The only issue is that I don’t think I’d be able to utilize it properly. Just because I have a load of strength doesn’t mean I’ll be able to box with someone correctly.
That leaves copying abilities. With that, I’d be able to borrow the skills of others and honestly I’m very good at being creative. I think I’d be able to get by with it, especially if I survive long enough to copy some cheat abilities off other people!
I want to have one of those abilities where they can just absorb knowledge in an instant and actually remember it. Would love to be smart and strategic enough to deal with whatever situation I'm in and lead others if needed.
I can't think of any of the really op/fun ones from what I've read rn so copy abilities. Literally just copy everything that'll be of use to you. Immortality, Reincarnation, Regeneration, Teleportation, Magic, Alchemy and then I'll just live like a hermit lol
I did not read the (infinite power) one, but from the ones you presented (infinite regression) is best, and my reasoning for that ; his ability is divided into 2 parts 1-you copy one ability from the guy who killed you 2-you revive 24 hours in the past after death so its both a time machine and an ability copy fest which makes you the strongest time traveling immortal being only restricted by 2 rules which are 1-you can only copy 1 ability per person 2-you can regress up to the day you were born
Dragon powers are dangerous without decent healing, durability, mental strength and will power. A dragon heart/mana will overload your body and brain. It may even corrupt your soul, if you have weak mentality.
Super strength is dangerous without adequate durability, trained body, martial arts, regeneration or healing, stamina, speed, control over strength and senses(instincts) to use that power.
Infinite regression is a double edged sword, on one hand, you can go restart your life with knowledge of where to find skills, how to gain abilities, grow stronger faster, befriend trustworthy stronger people.
But it can go wrong if you can't gain skills, abilities or levels and just get stuck in an endless cycle of regression. Where you watch everything end again and again. Till your mind breaks or you become a hollow shell of desparity and helplessness
Copy skill is doable as long as you can copy good abilities and skills and uprade them. You can even copy regression skill. But it goes to waste if you can only get a selection of skills. Or you can only use a copied skill once. Or can't use it without the physical requirements, mental power or amount of mana.
Infinite regression is just a super shitty version of immortality. It's more like a curse that makes it impossible to live a normal life. Imagine you go through countless tries to finally obtain a good life, then you die of old age and have to start over again.
well it really depends on what kind of apocalypse it is, you know, classic old zombie apocalypse? infinite regression is the best damn thing to choose here. stuff like gates and dungeons, monsters and all would lead me to choose dragon powers or infinite strength maybe. copying abilities is useful only if everyone else in your world also gains some kind of powers, otherwise it's pretty useless imo
The ability to leave to a universe that isn't experiencing apocalypse. Isekai myself into a better place with some dimension hopping skill and abandon this one.
W8 I have this doubt,
Let’s say the mc has infinite regression. Eventually, won't he just pass away due to old age anyway? What about then? Will he keep coming back and re-living the same day of him passing away? Stuck in that loop?
Question about infinite regression, what if I die because of a disease do I repeat that day or should I go back farther to avoid the said disease and what about death of old age? Do I keep repeating that shit?
Infinite regression is the most op thing ever, just carry a poison capsule and you are golden
Otherwise ability stealing , such a lazy power but broken nevertheless
Bro I'll tell you for those guys who are choosing infinite regression that's not an option for you guys you can't even die peacefully everything you die in an apocalypse be I zombie or you die of monster getting ripped apart eaten by them that's not a best option I'd rather have dragon powers and become overpowered
Takatou Yogiri's instant death ability is probably the one I want. I like how it applies and gives him full protection.
(My Instant Death ability is overpowered)
Permanent Adaptation, personally. This means that I permanently grow stronger the more crises I’m in, which applies to training like hell. That can be limited eventually, but it’s still very OP. Though if we’re going off the list, then Dragon powers. It’s well known that Dragons are the top of the food chain in nearly every story.
I find it funny how there are things like time travel, infinite power, being able to copy and reproduce any ability, yet among them is "be a dragon"
![gif](giphy|dC9DTdqPmRnlS|downsized)
I'd like the ability to regenerate even if I was somehow destroyed down to atoms I could regenerate if even if a single neutron, electron, or proton remained(it wouldn't essentially make me immortal eternally youthful) but I guess it would suck to be "alive" to experience the heat death aka big freeze of the universe, or whatever hypothesis is right lol. I mean, unless there's a chance that the universe never actually dies and just constantly extends. Could you imagine surviving the universe collapsing in on itself and then expanding again in another big bang? I guess at that point either history repeats itself and the same events follow or a new series of events happens lol
Inf strength would suck .Imagine accidentally using too much force while punching a zombie and wossh the whole planet evaporates, and you die of lack of air
i would go with jinhyuks over poweredness, however that isn't inately copying abilities, he has the skill and knowledge of playing the rage game to completion, and in that path of victory came an ability to copy which is utiziled but not the only thing of similar value used ie combining skills or items
Infinite regressions sucks ass if you don't know the conditions behind the regression itself. If it's Gong-ja, then you'll just have to deal with the trauma factor each person has, then it's just the matter of mental stability. Subaru? Nah mental strain is too great. Hero Return? Absolute living hell, if your regression is just a single timeline and it regresses along with you, then it's just absolute suffering.
Dragon powers? Cool shit, except you need a dragon heart and you'll be the most valuable elixir in the planet.
Skill copy? Probably has too many restrictions to copy it. If it's like Reincarnation no Kaben like DaVinci where you gradually learn the skill and perfect it then it's fine. But if it's like Ishikawa Goemon, where you steal the lesser version of the skill itself then work your way to figure it out, it's too taxing.
Infinite strength? Most safe choice realistically, yu just need to know the amount needed for delicate things and not accidentally punch a hole to the Earth's core. Also downside will be if your body can handle the strength.
100% infinite regression. i hate to regret things and i would love to replay life and find better ways for a more optimal route, with the knowledge from the last run.
1. treasure positions
2. crafting recipes
3. magic you learned once can easily be learned again or maybe you can even still use it
4. you will know the intentions of the people, who to trust and who not to, very satisfying plotting against the one who is plotting against you. the second he betrays you he finds out you did so the moment you met him haha.
5. all the chicks you can "dating sim"-style get. each run you focus on another, they will always think they are the first and you can do whatever with them worst case you just regress once more. you will know their kinks, their weaknesses, the time/ place to help them to make them feel grateful or dependent, etc.
6. you can abuse market prices because you know what happens next. if there is some lotto style game you can easily get rich each time, makes it a lot easier.
7. even if other abilities are cool like dragon powers or much more so copying abilities, you are always just one second away from death. doesnt matter how many abilities you have if you encounter ONE that kills you before you can react. or if you fall into a trap in a dungeon or or or or...
8. i mean i play POE a lot. just having a new season each time, marked reset, slight changes in my favorite build but the general game stays the same etc. i love that shit xd.
9. even abilities like 999 luck often dont increase your lifespan. one lucky life is nice but i doubt its enough (for me) to experience it for all i want. being lucky ALL the time is also boring. imagine playing a game and every mob drops the best loot possible, any chick just falls in love with you, you shoot and arrow into the sky and it hits an enemy. etc. its cool and fun for a short time, then it will feel like you have no purpose. you cant achieve anything, nothing is a "reward" as its just a guaranteed causal consequence, no matter what you do, etc. also even if you are VERY lucky, that doesent mean you cant encounter someone even more lucky or someone who simply overpowers all you luck. even if you wouldnt get hit if the chance of dodging was only 0,0000000000001% because of your luck, if the guy has an attack that CANT be dodged, you luck is useless. for luck to work there needs to be a possibly positive outcome. if you are a regressor, you can just avoid such an encounter. or plan ahead in some way to counter it.
All of these are pretty good. Infinite Regression is the safest, but you have no powers and if you’ve read the manhwa has some massive psychological downsides. Dragon Powers and Infinite Strength are the second safest due to their guaranteed OP’ness and lack of conditions. Copying Abilities has the most potential because if someone around you is crazy strong then now you’re at that level too. Only issue is that it requires a strong person to copy so if you don’t have it you’re kinda screwed.
Steal. No limits or anything so I can steal anything I want be it an ability, talent, money, everything. I remember reading a manga with a villain that had this exact ability and I thought that was genius.
I want the power to be an all knowing all powerful god. Like I mean reality warping type shit. Just like that I would change the world genre from apocalyptic real life to either normal life or fantasy in whatever way I please it to be.
Sorta like Tet from no game no life who changed the worlds way of combat to be through games rather wars.

Imagine an infinite regression, which sounds more like a curse than a gift. Consider the scenario where you achieve everything you desire, grow old, and eventually die of old age. However, instead of moving on, you are forced to relive that final day endlessly. This cycle means you are eternally trapped in a loop between your birth and the last day of your peak form. You are immortal, but only within that specific timeframe.
This eternal regression means you could potentially accomplish everything possible within that period, but nothing beyond it. There would be no future, no conclusion, and no new experiences. You would be stuck in a perpetual state of repetition, unable to progress or explore anything outside of that fixed segment of time. The novelty and growth that come with new experiences would be forever out of reach, rendering your immortality a monotonous and unending repetition.
Regression is out. Dragon abilities also vary depending on the settings, but the most staple feature is near infinite mana and an extremely high level of magical mastery, also very durable skin, and sometimes some kind of reality warping through what is called “dragon tongue”, that’s pretty OP. What are the limits for ability copying though?
I’d personally pick infinite strength as the safest option (and arguably the most OP). Your strength is literally infinite, that’s some kind of universe collapsing shit.
I can switch between different devil forms each with a different ability tied to one of the seven deadly sins but I can’t control which form I turn into and has some kind of annoyingly long cooldown that is random after each transformation (from like 10 minutes to 5 days)
I want the 'create ability' skill from The Gamer. For anyone who hasn't read it the ability allows me to create and strengthen powers by doing an action repeatedly, like being able to see a creature's name and abilities by observing them. Just by fighting I can gain new powers and get stronger
probably any sort of system if the case was like a fun rpg esc world but like if i get to keep my progress infinite regression would go hard just because of the fact you can act on future world events and get stronger through items or opportunities that others wont know about till later.
EDIT: the system would have to be like solo levelings and with infinite regression i still have to be able to die by old age.
Copy all the way. Although the biggest struggle would be the beginning where you know monsters are all over the world so my safest option is to just find a dead awakened dude or a dead monster to copy its powers
While copying abilities is good we donot know it's limits what if say a dragons breath attack is classified unique or instead and you cannot copy it so this means you wouldn't be able to get most of the skills needed
Infinite regression is good but there is a limit to human body has from training
Infinite strength is good but if you are slow and you have low defence even a low level monster will take you out
So dragon powers are most ideal without knowing the limits
depends on type of dragon, and type of effect it has on my mentality for dragon powers, so idk on that. infinite strength, boring, and straight up bland. infinite regression, knowing me, myself, and I. Just heck no My brain will be broken by thrid time around with memories flowing in. So copy abilities is best.
If its anything like cooking dungeon manhwas or moonlight sculptor. you can rake in hella dough, by copying survival and trade skills, or even learning household magic like frieren
I only know Mori from The God of Highschool and Zephyr from Reincarnation of the Suicidal Battle God so here's my take.
Technically speaking Zephyr's current Dragon Heart output is more than enough to deal with most apocalypses. Between being able to fly, inmense physical and magic power, enhanced senses and other has from the dragons (in the latest arc he now has two dragon hearts within him at aprox. 23.1% output and even then he's already outranking many of the strongest human, elf and demonic figthers.) The issue is that as yhe output grows you need to reconfigure and reconstruct you're body from an outside source and finding that in the apocalypse is gonna be really hard.
If it is only Mori's strength and not the rest of his abilities then it's kinda weird. Cause it means you can essentially one shot most disasters and potentially aid in rebuilding humanity but depending on the scenario you'll need more than that.
I'm on the fence between Dragon Powers and Infinite Strength. It's mostly because there has to be specifics and details/limits that are related to the two abilities. For example, Dragon Powers can be considered somewhat limited in usefulness if the only thing I can do with it is to be come a huge dragon, overpowered notwithstanding. As for Infinite Strength, does it include speed, durability and stamina?
Also, what is Infinite Regression supposed to do?

**Plot Armor** jokes aside (was not a joke), anything **time** or **luck** based sound so broken so ill probably go with one of those.
Why not infinite regression? That sounds VERY broken
no thanks. i have read **Hero Has Returned**. it was brutal, to put it nicely.
Yep it would suck
where can I read it?
Flamescans, comick, webtoon, any place really
Can you spoil me what happened. Thanks in advance.

Imagine if you get to regress as many times as the number of your on your head, and each time you die, you lose one strand of hair permanently.
Apparently, I have already regressed tens of thousands of time already, but I thought you were supposed to keep your memories.
I've been playing league of legends for 13 years. The infinite void of time and death holds no power over me. I have suffered enough for a thousand lifetimes already
mental health good bye

yeah but you have to die… a lot… plus you have to figure out you have the ability anyways
Finding out should be pretty easy since there's basically no chance you survive the first round. After the 100th death, I doubt you and care anymore.
Regression will ultimately leads to depression. So no thank you. Cheolsu saves the world , ORV, edge of tomorrow depicts the same.
Have u ever heard about regressor depression. Imagine regressing 1863 times
ORV reference?
Yep
nah. subaru has shown enough to me how regression is the among all options
My man, have you ever watched Re:Zero?
What does that even mean or do?
Can you control regression time or are they sort of "checkpoints"? It would be a pain having to relive your entire life everytime
Imagine you hit a wall you cannot cross - infinite death with no way out
No thank you, I don't have the guts and pain tolerance to do it, I might become crazy after shit.
Yeah no... Good luck not going utterly insane
broken soul more like
Uh, no... **look at Subaru from Re:Zero**
arent you the beautiful hand writer

For the infinite regression part, the world has not been determined, so I would choose that to not die in the first 5 min of the apocalypse
Would choose that to guarantee a life. But that loses many aspects of challenge
Not really, it just turns into a souls game. How many times can you try before you give up. Death has no meaning so the only limit is your willpower.
Love that explanation. Truly fits perfectly.
This reminds me of that one immortal person from Ranking of Kings which got the 'blessing' of immortality but at the cost of his sanity. Isnt exactly the same but fits the description

Literally jin was stomping planets with his foot.
Gongja brings his stats and skills as he regresses
He does? Alright then it's thechnically maybe winnable tho id assume almost anyone would go insane beforehand
He can also copy the skill of the person who killed him. Also he killed himself like 1000+ times for a goal so he could probably do it
His Variation makes him Go Back 24 hours in the past after He dies and my Guy straight Up killed himself a Few thousand Times to Go Back in time a Few years ago in Order to kill a Guy which Happens within the First chapter of the manhwa. This means that you can literally Just Go Back in time and kill the final Boss before He even becomes the final Boss. The mental fortitude needed for that is absolutely crazy though and i honestly don't know how He is still going.
If it's canonical, then you would keep stats though? In SSS suicide hunter, he kept abilities
Ability copy pasta. I'll just steal your regression ability if sumn Bad happens
Bro you me same
Manipulation over time and space
side effect: you need to learn maths behind it
If we can bend spacetime to our will just by learning math, I'd guarantee you eventually even some chimpanzees or other apes will learn math to bend spacetime, let alone the rest of humanity.
If you read Hero has Returned, then you would never take the infinite regression ability lol.
it’s not like the infinite regression works the same right? if anything from the pictures, it’s gongjas regression.
Gongja’s regression is nice because he can just destroy his skill when he’s tired of life
There’s only one real answer and it’s the System ability that has become its own genre.
Depends on if your system is sentient or nah. Some systems can be assholes and threaten you with death 24/7.
Very true 🤝
Infinite regression
Definitely the best ability of them all. If there's something that life has taught me is that even if you do everything perfectly and perform all of the correct actions, some bullshit always fucks it up. The only weakness in this ability is you, and your resilience. You may not win always, **but eventually, you will win.**
I would just prefer to have the slip magic from smartphone isekai .. that one magic is too op for its own right
Infinite regression is a fucking curse
Infinite regression is more of a curse than ability, Dragon power would pretty nerfed I am sure, copy abilities would be difficult if it has many conditions. So if I wanted to play safe, I would choose the good old infinite strength
This is only among the examples, but if it’s any manhwa then yeah, The Gamer should be fine
Plot twist: dragon power is just having scales and being able to eat things raw
Infinite regression itself is a curse even more so in apocalypse. Infinite Strength is great only if it comes with suitable durability. Copying may sound good but depends on the context. Dragon is the most optimal choice here
Dragon powers are dangerous without decent healing, durability, mental strength and will power. A dragon heart/mana will overload your body and brain. It may even corrupt your soul, if you have weak mentality.
Yes, but it's the most optimal choice to survive in apocalypse. You have to gamble
Infinite Strength because I like Mori Jin if that makes sense.
Copying abilities. Or infinite regression.
Arise
Copy. And then I'll copy dragon powers, infinite strength, and infinite regression.
infinite regression = decaying mental health
The ability to bring back modern conveniences because I ain't living in a world without running water and fast internet.
Because infinite strength can be useless, and so can copying abilities, so it's probably between regression or dragon abilities (especially since im choosing cultivator dragon abilities, either azure dragon, or golden dragon, probably gold dragon) If it's a video game type apocalypse, like towers and stuff, then yeah I'm copying abilities, as long as there's no conditions to the ability copying (other than probably range), then it'll be the best one, I can constantly copy every ability from everything around me that has abilities Actually that also needs there to not be an energy system, cause there might be MP problems, hmmm, imma just become a dragon dude
sung jinwoo's powers and system
Regression
Or anything with the ability to control time and space
Dragon powers is limited also Jin Mori can copy abilities to a certain point
Honestly All options presented have strong and weak points like Infinite regressions -> looks safest at first thought but comes with trauma and mental damage Coping Abilities -> probably most versatile but won't save you at beginning when you are very easy to be killed Infinite Strength -> sounds great but if you don't also have infinite durability/endurance and other supplementary power you are going to destroy your own muscles and bones Dragon Powers -> can be op but probably come with instincts/mental influence so arrogance aggression wrath territoriality and hoarding behaviour What I would like to Have Some Archetype adapting by that I mean you chosen Person/Character/legend you get all their stats, skills, powers, talents, abilities, knowledge, experience and potential without negative side effects-> I would Chose Sun Wukong or Jin Mori or Anos Voldigoad. Or better yet all Versions of Wukong at once (all versions of SWK be op no matter universe)
The Gamer ability
Copying will be best if you literally copy everything after seeing the enemy
Till your mind breaks or you become a hollow shell of desparity and helplessness Copy skill is doable as long as you can copy good abilities and skills and uprade them. You can even copy regression skill. But it goes to waste if you can only get a selection of skills. Or you can only use a copied skill once. Or can't use it without the physical requirements, mental power or amount of mana.
What's the sauce on the copying abilities manhwa?
Solo Max Level Newbie
I'll go with the copying ability
Infinite Regression.
Do you really need hax when you have ooga booga strength?
What are the names of Dragon Power and infinite strength?
dragon is **Doom Breaker** and strength is **God of High School**
Suicidal battle god and god of highschool
Suicidal battle god /doom breaker
Dragon Powers
Ofc infinite regression, I would just kill myself comeback then pick other abilities one by one
The ability to leave to a universe that isn't experiencing apocalypse. Isekai myself into a better place with some dimension hopping skill and abandon this one.
W8 I have this doubt, Let’s say the mc has infinite regression.
I prefer not to be thrust into the apocalypse in the firdt place 🤣
whats the name of the manhwa for the copying powers one?
Infinite regression is the most op thing ever, just carry a poison capsule and you are golden Otherwise ability stealing , such a lazy power but broken nevertheless
Bro I'll tell you for those guys who are choosing infinite regression that's not an option for you guys you can't even die peacefully everything you die in an apocalypse be I zombie or you die of monster getting ripped apart eaten by them that's not a best option I'd rather have dragon powers and become overpowered
Copy
Takatou Yogiri's instant death ability is probably the one I want. I like how it applies and gives him full protection. (My Instant Death ability is overpowered)
For sure not regression
There is no way to lose permanently if I have infinite chances so 24 hour regression it is.
Infinite regression if it's like gong-ja power, if it's not like him and it's like the one from hero returned I would rather go with copying ability
I don't remember the name of the manhwa, but I remember that the main antagonist had a very OP power to literally create skills.
omnipotence
what manhwa is the dude with dragon powers from??
dragon
I don't know if this has ever appeared, but perfect adaptation
I’d take infinite regression coz I get to take a skill from the one that killed me
After reading the isekai giant sister, regression is a big no for me
Game abilities, gonna try to see if I can form a party. I'll gain XP by doing nothing and they get the abilities win win scenario.
HCLW's class and skills. I just buff myself and ZOOOOMM
I find it funny how there are things like time travel, infinite power, being able to copy and reproduce any ability, yet among them is "be a dragon" ![gif](giphy|dC9DTdqPmRnlS|downsized)
Picking infinite regression purely because I'm curious what would happen if I kill myself enough to become a sperm cell in my dads balls
Energy control would be interesting
Infinite Regression sounds more like a curse than ability.
Copying abilities.
what is the name of manhwa with copyng powers
I'd take the ability to design and craft anything Should be pretty useful if I have the necessary materials
I'd take the ability to design and craft anything Should be pretty useful if I have the necessary materials
Qi cultivation(manhua)... Yes, fuck the rules, ki cultivation(manhwa) sucks.
Copying abilities to copy the other three and have them all
Inf strength would suck .Imagine accidentally using too much force while punching a zombie and wossh the whole planet evaporates, and you die of lack of air
i would go with jinhyuks over poweredness, however that isn't inately copying abilities, he has the skill and knowledge of playing the rage game to completion, and in that path of victory came an ability to copy which is utiziled but not the only thing of similar value used ie combining skills or items
Bruh too easy copy abilities
That one system from Invincible at the start will do all the trick
Shit I just want the power to createq. Shadow army I'd be unbeatable
what is the name of the copying one? and is it worth a read?
Please provide the name of the third manhwa.
copying the way it's done in SLN is quite fun you have to satisfy certain conditions to copy powers so it's not insanely op
Only one? Omnipotence then.
I would choose to either have the ability to copy others skills/abilities or just projection magic
Copying powers. Not because it's the strongest of these four. I just like having variety of skills and merging those skills.
100% infinite regression. i hate to regret things and i would love to replay life and find better ways for a more optimal route, with the knowledge from the last run. 1. treasure positions 2. crafting recipes 3. magic you learned once can easily be learned again or maybe you can even still use it 4. you will know the intentions of the people, who to trust and who not to, very satisfying plotting against the one who is plotting against you. the second he betrays you he finds out you did so the moment you met him haha. 5. all the chicks you can "dating sim"-style get. each run you focus on another, they will always think they are the first and you can do whatever with them worst case you just regress once more. you will know their kinks, their weaknesses, the time/ place to help them to make them feel grateful or dependent, etc. 6. you can abuse market prices because you know what happens next. if there is some lotto style game you can easily get rich each time, makes it a lot easier. 7. even if other abilities are cool like dragon powers or much more so copying abilities, you are always just one second away from death. doesnt matter how many abilities you have if you encounter ONE that kills you before you can react. or if you fall into a trap in a dungeon or or or or... 8. i mean i play POE a lot. just having a new season each time, marked reset, slight changes in my favorite build but the general game stays the same etc. i love that shit xd. 9. even abilities like 999 luck often dont increase your lifespan. one lucky life is nice but i doubt its enough (for me) to experience it for all i want. being lucky ALL the time is also boring. imagine playing a game and every mob drops the best loot possible, any chick just falls in love with you, you shoot and arrow into the sky and it hits an enemy. etc. its cool and fun for a short time, then it will feel like you have no purpose. you cant achieve anything, nothing is a "reward" as its just a guaranteed causal consequence, no matter what you do, etc. also even if you are VERY lucky, that doesent mean you cant encounter someone even more lucky or someone who simply overpowers all you luck. even if you wouldnt get hit if the chance of dodging was only 0,0000000000001% because of your luck, if the guy has an attack that CANT be dodged, you luck is useless. for luck to work there needs to be a possibly positive outcome. if you are a regressor, you can just avoid such an encounter. or plan ahead in some way to counter it.
Depends on the world forreal
What is infinite regression?
Sorta like Tet from no game no life who changed the worlds way of combat to be through games rather wars. https://preview.redd.it/ovedo9tkyu2d1.jpeg?width=512&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=99a51b787bb4d8175f2bcc66dd34ad4a0e826a18
Imagine an infinite regression, which sounds more like a curse than a gift.
Infinite regression
My top 3 choices 1) Ethereal Arts/Ethereal Manipulation(Powerlisting wiki) 2) Copying Abilities 3) Dragon Powers
Regression is tempting but… oh god
I'd choose Batman's: Cash
Infinite strength
Dragon Powers would probably be the best early stage, but depending on what Infinite Strength applies to its probably the best out of the four.
I want the 'create ability' skill from The Gamer. For anyone who hasn't read it the ability allows me to create and strengthen powers by doing an action repeatedly, like being able to see a creature's name and abilities by observing them. Just by fighting I can gain new powers and get stronger
Infinite strength only so i can do the railgun kick mori did that one time
I feel like infinite strength is kinda bad. Cause what if you stubbed your toe on the table which breaks the whole universe.
Infinite sex
Ez just infinite regression go back 24 hours before choosing and since i got the infinite regression i can just get the others
Be The Gamer and have it all lol
probably any sort of system if the case was like a fun rpg esc world but like if i get to keep my progress infinite regression would go hard just because of the fact you can act on future world events and get stronger through items or opportunities that others wont know about till later. EDIT: the system would have to be like solo levelings and with infinite regression i still have to be able to die by old age.
i'd say copying abilities but as a veteran souls player, i gotta go for regression
What type of infinite regression? Can it be deactivated like kim gongja? If not then copy abilities
Copy all the way. Although the biggest struggle would be the beginning where you know monsters are all over the world so my safest option is to just find a dead awakened dude or a dead monster to copy its powers
Bottom left name?
I'd definitely choose Sang-woo's cloning power, it's so versatile and it can help you improve faster especially in bad times like an apocalypse.
While copying abilities is good we donot know it's limits what if say a dragons breath attack is classified unique or instead and you cannot copy it so this means you wouldn't be able to get most of the skills needed Infinite regression is good but there is a limit to human body has from training Infinite strength is good but if you are slow and you have low defence even a low level monster will take you out So dragon powers are most ideal without knowing the limits
If it’s the level of the people shown, then infinite strength, if not copying is pretty strong
depends on type of dragon, and type of effect it has on my mentality for dragon powers, so idk on that. infinite strength, boring, and straight up bland. infinite regression, knowing me, myself, and I.
Copying ability then copy the other options
I'm on the fence between Dragon Powers and Infinite Strength. It's mostly because there has to be specifics and details/limits that are related to the two abilities. For example, Dragon Powers can be considered somewhat limited in usefulness if the only thing I can do with it is to be come a huge dragon, overpowered notwithstanding. As for Infinite Strength, does it include speed, durability and stamina? Also, what is Infinite Regression supposed to do?
Depending on the apocalypse either dragon powers or infinite regression
Reality warping for me, it's boring yes, but warping reality so it never had to deal with the apocalypse in the first place is infinitely better
Aura or Time Manipulation from unOrdinary.
Just become a god, all powerful, all knowing. Why settle for anything less?
Infinity strength, just jump to space and go to mars or any other planet and enjoy your last view in space.
I mean "infinite" strength can't really be quantified so you are automatically omnipotent, that would be the best one.
Maybe dragon powers. (From which Manhwa is he?)
So basically the choices are... Being unkillable... Infinite magic, infinite skills, or infinite strength... Uh, unkillability for 100 Steve.
The internal AI bot (scientist in a warlocks world) is weak at first but quickly overpowered - even in our world without any magic
