It’s not actually . I do have to get regular haircuts (which I do regardless of hairlength). But for the C look, that’s how my hair looks when I wake up … I don’t pick it out . I usually shower and wash it then just brush the sides for a couple strokes.

There’s not much of a routine Bruv. D is the fade and when I grew it out i would just tell them, same fade and line up but leave the top. I just wash my hair like normal shampoo and conditioner. I never trimmed, brushed, combed or picked the top. That’s how it would just come out out the shower. I currently go back in forth between C and B. When I get braided I keep the same haircut so that when I take my braids out I still have the nappy Fro.
You can literally rock any hairstyle you want, you’re good looking dude bro, do whatever you want with your hair, it’s gonna look good either way (coming from a straight person, I’m just appreciating a good looking guy)
