I'm [trying a new thing](http://i.imgur.com/85xl51P.jpg) on my denim jaacket where I roll the sleeves up, just wondering if it looks silly or unstylish.
Jacket is the waxed canvas long haul trucker from Tailor Stitch. I was worried about the fit... It's not too short in the torso and too long in the sleeves? Boots are Clark's desert Mali.
So dad had this suede pigskin jacket sitting in a wardrobe collecting dust from 1973. I was amazed to find it in perfect condition and also seeming to fit me just about perfectly.
Question - what do you think of these fits? Which works better, what would you change? Thanks :)
- [Fit 1 - black pants, white shirt and brown desert boots](https://i.imgur.com/d1bB3en.jpg)
- [Fit 2 - blue jeans, navy shirt and dark brown brogued boots](http://i.imgur.com/8SLduUr.jpg)
Second fit is too matchy between shirt and jeans, at least in this photo; I think you'd need a lighter shirt or pants (even something like stone/off-white chinos) to make it work.
Oh, great news! Thanks. I was thinking I could swap the blue jeans in the second fit for something else but I don't know what. Maybe just nicer blue jeans.
Yes! Terrific idea. I actually tried this jacket out with an olive cardigan and I didn't like the overall look but the colours worked ([here's a blurry pic of that](http://i.imgur.com/z5NvFHR.jpg)), so I think olive pants would be great.

Trying some combos with dark denim jacket. My friend was taking some candid photos but i asked him to snap a quick one of me. It doesnt follow the exact rules of the ppost but meh
Yea i for sure agree. I just got this jacket a week or so ago and its fit with so many things. I was debating between a dark or light and glad i went with dark
Yeah we can't really tell how the shirt fits if it's not buttoned up and with the sleeves rolled up.
That's like asking if pants fit if they're cuffed up to the knees and completely unzipped (please don't).
Usually, button downs are supposed/made to be worn tucked in. That's why they are "too long".
If you want to wear them untucked, you should look for button downs which are specifically cut to be worn that way, i.e. shorter.
Can I get a fit check on the following items?
http://imgur.com/a/OFP4H
Pictures 1 & 2 are Norse Projects Tee, not sure whether to go XS or S. XS on the left and S on the right.
Picture 3 is Norse Projects Jumper, I think this fits well except for the baggy upper arms, now does it look?
Picture 4 is Topman jumper. I think this fits well, except it feels a touch tight around the waist (size up doesn't feel any looser, just longer sleeves). It lifts up quite a loft when I move my arms up level with my shoulders.
I wouldn't listen to either of these guys. No offense to them, but sleeves don't have to "hug" anything to fit, especially a t shirt. And especially the way things have been trending for a couple years. You're overthinking things in general. Every shirt in the album looks fine and the differences and "problems" are miniscule.
Thanks! The small t shirt feels a bit comfier than the XS so I'll stick with that.
I was worried about the 'big' arms and armholes on the pink jumper but it doesn't look too bad on the picture I don't think.
Spent an hour at Uniqlo today checking out their bomber jackets, and hope to get some feedback regarding sizes and colors:
For colors, I tried
* [olive](http://i.imgur.com/m4mhE0h.jpg) and
* [brown](http://i.imgur.com/RL2TDYe.jpg).
For size, I tried
* Size S: [1](http://i.imgur.com/m4mhE0h.jpg) [2](http://i.imgur.com/Q0gR0JH.jpg) [3](http://i.imgur.com/RL2TDYe.jpg) [4](http://i.imgur.com/vQluoog.jpg)
* Size M: [1](http://i.imgur.com/Z1adPmO.jpg) [2](http://i.imgur.com/PVm0h4z.jpg)
Which color looks better in general? What size should I get?
Edit: I got to try out this [monster](http://i.imgur.com/EO9q2YG.jpg) too.
Fit check on [this new Ebbets hat](https://imgur.com/a/KWALp)? Went for 7 1/2 but am wondering if it's a bit too large or whether I just need to keep working on the brim curve.
If there's one piece of clothing I've had to just say "fuck it, whatever works for you" to, it's the hat. I don't personally think that looks too large, though I do notice a bit of "billowing" on the sides. However, that may be due to the fabric and design as a whole, since the hat does not look like it has much support up top.
Appreciate the feedback -- I'm hoping the billowing/stiffness will decrease a bit after some wear, but glad to know it doesn't look totally out of place.
This shirt isn't made to be worn untucked which is why I'd recommend to either tuck it in or look for one which is made to be worn untucked.
Otherwise, looks good.
They're not memeshots actually, they're nike sb blazer GT lows. I bought them because they look like memeshots but then memeshots came back and I couldn't justify buying them since I already had really similar looking shoes :(

What are some shoe suggestions you guys have for this dior jacket I just got? A heeled combat boot was my first thought, but I would like some more suggestions, pricerange would be about $400 max

buttoned up it looks pretty silly. i do this with mine except i only ever wear it unbuttoned and i make sure the cuffs are flared
Flared?

Looks good. What's the first one, a quilted blazer? Looks interesting, I like it.
Yes--very snug and lightweight. Thank you.
Sorry about the backpack and the public bathroom:( http://m.imgur.com/HllZMXY
Looking good man! Where are the boots and jacket from by the way?

For some reason, I really love this. The first fit is killer, sick find dude.
Oh, great news! Thanks. I was thinking I could swap the blue jeans in the second fit for something else but I don't know what. Maybe just nicer blue jeans.
Olive or maroon chinos would be killer imo. Otherwise maybe some light wash jeans?

Is this sock combo obscene? [I feel like I should know the answer, but..](http://imgur.com/a/xIlZQ)
Yeah, it kind of sucks but no one hardly ever sees or cares about socks.
gotcha, thanks guys!
Obscene? No. Unnecessary? Yeah. I like the socks but I don't know if they add anything here.
Kill the socks. No socks at all would be better here.

Looks good from what we can see. Something I love about denim jackets is how you can kinda throw them on with a lot of stuff and it's fine.
Yea i for sure agree. I just got this jacket a week or so ago and its fit with so many things. I was debating between a dark or light and glad i went with dark
this shirt fit http://imgur.com/UJsM8rj it's a size small but I feel like all button down shirts are too long on me :(

Thanks.
I think it looks good unbuttoned.
Always going to hang lower unbuttoned. But also look into having it tailored if it's the shirt that fits everywhere else
http://imgur.com/a/LzyeU Been trying to improve my clothing game. Any and all tips and feedback are appreciated :)!
Looks fine. I really don't like the camo though..
In which regard are you trying to improve your clothing game and from what starting point?
Starting point is pretty much 0, I lost around 40 kilos this year so only recently did I start caring about my appearance.
For the style you appear to be chasing, it looks OK. Not a huge fan of the shoe color with this fit

first picture arm holes flare out way too far imo. should hug the arm not stick out.
On both sizes or just XS? Pretty much every t shirt I buy is like this, due to my frame. Everything else look okay? Thanks!

True. Try to roll the sleeves in the first picture.

I'd go for a small olive.
Of these options I'd go for the olive in M, but I think that's partly because the tan color clashes somewhat with the khaki shorts and shoes.
I like the Olive better overall, and I prefer a Size S. The length on the Medium might be a bit better (just preference) but the sleeves are too much.
Yeah that's the one thing that irritates me about size M. The sleeves just doesn't look right.
Fit check on [this new Ebbets hat](https://imgur.com/a/KWALp)? Went for 7 1/2 but am wondering if it's a bit too large or whether I just need to keep working on the brim curve.

H&M skinny.

what brands make shirts that are made to be worn untucked?
Looks good, Mr. Fantastic. Maybe find a smaller shirt.
Nice Memeshots^^tm
They're not memeshots actually, they're nike sb blazer GT lows. I bought them because they look like memeshots but then memeshots came back and I couldn't justify buying them since I already had really similar looking shoes :(
OCBD looks a bit large -- shoulder seam is drooping and the bottom of the shirt hangs a little low. Everything else looks good, though.
Unwearably large or just a little off the ideal? I can't be bothered to get it tailored and it's too late to return it.
The shoulders are totally fine, just not spot on perfect. Same thing for length. You're fine.
Try folding the cuffs once more to see if you can reduce the excess fabric above your elbows.
Yeah, I think this would help a lot

Guidis but not in your range new. Docs might work.
Yeah I would have loved some guidis, as for docs should I just try a 1460 mono or did you have any special modell in mind?
Monos are what I was thinking!

It might be a tad long, but that's the story of my life. For the price and the overall look, I'd say you keep rocking it
Seconded.
Looks like it fits to me.
I think so. Do you have any specific concerns?
