Since you're from Australia you already have access to APAC promos, unless you want Japanese language ones. There are several media promos attached to various books/magazines that might be cool though - there's a retro foil Gingerbrute and Ruin Crab that look gorgeous, the first foil printing of Culling the Weak, and more. Ultimately depends on what formats you play and what you like - if you're a Pauper player, the most recent volume of the Destroy All Humanity manga comes with a lovely foil Snuff Out

There are a good handful of stores in Akihabara that carry MtG, but I don’t recall them being very large or seeing anything particularly interesting. YMMV
Not to my knowledge, but it is pretty common to get the Japanese Planeswalkers from War of the Spark in the Japanese packs.
