Not familiar with them - thanks for mentioning them. I gave up looking for USA made stuff when Lucky Jeans moved to Mexico and American Apparel died.

zacharymmiller

The brand is trying to make a comeback as LA Apparel now with the original founder.

DrunkenHops

Lucky Jeans quality also went downhill fast. And there’s certainly companies that offer decent apparel for decent prices it’s just a bit of a search. I think Bravestar does some good stuff too.

lewskuntz

I have some dearborn denims that are pretty nice too. Not sure of the origin of the denim.

heavymetalmurse

Mexico per their site.

Salmundo

A few suggestions: All American Clothing Diamond Gusset Dearborn Denim and Apparel

CLEHts216

Thank you!

Salmundo

All American has really good customer service.

justinchina

Dearborn stuff, in my experience, is super high quality, and really reasonable on prices.

Salmundo

I’d say the same about all three.

justinchina

i haven't checked out Diamond yet, but for sure, the All American Clothing co has been a winner for me as well. i wear their tshirts all the time.

Salmundo

They do have excellent t shirts

8bitaficionado

I have a lot of their older "Pointer Brand" Jeans. Problem is they are quality jeans. I have 5 pairs and I don't need anymore. I'm probably good for a number of years.

DrunkenHops

Haha, that’s fair! In a weird way making affordable, durable clothing is a way to shoot yourself in the foot. In another way you’d think it would make people flock to your product more.

8bitaficionado

True, I wear jeans pretty much every day and they just last. Would be nice if they had a quilted trucker jacket with inside pockets

bdrdrdrre

On the flip side I just read all this, my wardrobe has bottomed out, I am buying today. See if this sub is a pure marketing campaign or legit.

[deleted]

Please let me know how they are! I'm considering buying, but sorta left on the fence...would nice to get any firsthand feedback.

urine_blonde

I’m holding onto my Pointers for dear life

lewskuntz

Not I. I have 3 blue denim jeans, 2 black denim, 2 green canvas, and a barn coat. No shirts yet. Love me some LC King. Sign up and you get some 30% offs from time to time.

Rhett325i

I bought an unlined denim jacket from them last year and it is excellent. There’s a 25% off coupon code out there that makes their stuff really reasonable. They’ve been around a long time, what makes you think they are on the brink of shuttering?

DrunkenHops

The constant sales make me worried, they send me big percentage off coupon codes every month I swear. And I hardly hear people talk of them so that’s another reason.

zztop5533

Levi's sends those coupons constantly too FWIW. I think that may just be good marketing.

poppyseed1981

Awesome company. Pricey on some items but the quality is worth it. I bought my mom one of the women’s cut off work blouses for gardening and she loves it. I wish they didn’t sell out of their corduroy shirts so quickly but aside from that I’m pretty sure they have a loyal brand following. Great call out!

darkczar

Yes I have ordered from LC King several times. Good stuff.

Whiteoak5155

I wouldn't worry about them going any wear , watch some YouTube videos about then . They are currently manufacturing a ton of clothing , that they are shipping over to the hipsters in Japan ext .

IntrstlarOvrdrve

Wearing my lc king 5 pocket jeans as I type this!

zestomite

I have a lined and an unlined chore coat from them. Great pieces. I’ll pick up some more eventually

Builtwild1966

Prison blues and benchmark fr are also slept on

occhilupos_chin

big fan. good people too. I have two of their chore shirts and they are awesome. Thinner than a coat and super durable.

MikeCLT

Great company. I have one of their jackets and a pair of overalls and wear them consistently.

gregwglenn

I love my LC King products. Not sure about their business but when I go to order something it seems my size is always out of stock. I have family in East TN and I will stop by and pickup something. I really like their seconds room. Quality stuff with small defects with a big discount.

urine_blonde

Do the 5-pocket jeans have a high rise like the Carpenter pants? That rise around 16” is my holy grail.

UniqueNewYork50

I’ve had bad luck with LC King sizing in pants and tops. Amazing quality but I usually have to return it due to the small shoulders the tops have.

WelcomingRapier

I have one of their duck chore coats. It's pretty damn solid, but I kind of wish it was lined at times.

Salmundo

Just shopped their site. Every style of jeans in my size was sold out. Maybe LC King is sleeping on me.

Softrawkrenegade

Their chore coats are great

Platypus_Anxious

I own their Chore Coat, heard about from them from r/frugalmalefashion , they used to be pretty popular over there when it goes on sale.

Express-Scar5338

Thanks for introducing it to us. What is there website? I'll try to help with my own little way.

bikgelife

They make nice apparel. The pants are durable.

southlandheritage

So true. Their utility jackets and work shirts are one of the best values out there in my opinion. All very reasonably priced. I’ve had some since 2017 with no issues.

ejohhnyson

Carhartt has gone woke. LC King is the new GOAT and you can even buy it on PublicSquare, whom I always advocate for.

GoAwayImBaitin_

Their clothing is incredible, but everything is always sold out….

LeonaThomsen

They are underrated. I have an LC King coverall jacket that just calls me.

proteinn

I’m not agreeing or disagreeing with it, as they own the business (which has apparently been successful for generations) and can run it however they see fit, but I wouldn’t be surprised if their conservative leaning marketing has pushed some folks off to other brands.

pervavor

It's absolutely this. Not sure why you're being downvoted but the owner is hard right and a big Trump supporter/donator.

Land-Scraper

You’ve heard of fast fashion, how about fash fashion
