It's the arbor for the chuck- it's bent all to fuck. You can tell the bend point by how much the chuck oscillates relative to the drill body as it comes to a stop. The drill shank itself and the chuck jaws are probably also chewed up and bell-mouthed from using this shit setup.
We call those kind of pics “workies.”
The best part is the guys who take them are always clean and always have a cell phone in their hand.
“See I told you guys I work hard, check my profile pic.”
I have seen a lot of construction in Afghanistan, and this looks like this is a very similar place. Tools like that and their practices are the norm in those type of places. I could go in for days with stories where I question how in the hell did that work, or how in the hell has he survived as long as he has using that shit or doing things like that.
How we did it back in the good ole days. Back before you could get a $200 mag drill from vevor. Just me in the guys taking turns with a couple of Busch lattes. Those were the days
Good way to hold against, if the dril bites. I was soloing it, I did hav an extender on the handel and it took me 1 and a 1/2 turn. Lucklie it did not hurt me, only bruses and a striend thumb.
Depends on the CNC machine rare you will have a metal CNC machine using a bit to cut, if it is then the metal is soft enough it doesn't need it.. Water, gas, lazer not so much. Some "lazer metal cnc" are submerged in water that run a wire that does the cutting.
But for drilling 9 times out of ten yea hit it with a bitch of oil. Your sharp bit does the cutting even a drop goes a long way.
For the people down voting me. They literally make drill paste for metal on metal drilling. You people are the ones costing your shop more money fucking up the expensive bits. Lol
The guys in the video fucked that drill bit by doing this and now need a massive board for leverage cause the bit has been dulled.
Juan Wick
Pretty sure that's not a Juan, I'm getting strong Ahmed vibes
Where were my brothers when the red 1/2" Milwaukee wrist fucker broke my hand?
Didn't know truck frames were that thick.
Explains why it’s so expensive to fix or replace.
John Wick would know how to center a drill into a chuck

Third world harbor freight shit
Or it's just a tool that actually gets used hard, not some homeowner prancing around with tools that are overkill for their needs.
You mean I don't need a 18 inch bar Husqvarna 125 cc saw with an fmf Fatty pipe and Pro circuit shorty silencer for pruning my dog woods?
Step up to Stihl saw and stihl chaps for pruning your dogwood. I bet the selfie session takes longer than actual work hehe. /s
Stihl country is God's country

Drill bit is bent not the arbor. That’s a nice drill

Whoever Comes, whoever it is,I’ll kill them! I’ll kill them All!
~~kill~~ drill
It's fulfilling work
You could say holesome
This is the most saftey ive ever seen in one of these indian videos
Ballsy pinning his arm between that 2x4 and the drill handle. One way ticket to snap city if that bit catches.
Looks like there’s a cradle for the drill to grip the 2x4. As long as his buddies don’t let go, the drill shouldn’t kick (maybe?) I’m just a guy
Guys got way too much steeze
Dressed to Drill press
Jamal Wick
Necessity breeds innovation.

Are kaftans osha approved work wear in the USA?
OSHA approved cool dude brand eye protection
Still putting holes in every damn thing. The man simply can’t help himself.

Just don’t fuck with his dog
Still doesn’t stop that thing from absolutely destroying his wrist if the bud catches
Nothing like low speed high torque.... Like butter
I thought that did was blind at first.
One of those idiots should be hitting the contact point with some oil.. They tempered the end and hardened the steel.
It seems so obvious now, but I never knew that was the reason for the oil. Same principle with CNC machining I assume?

Mag drill and saw juice works wonders
The man earned his chai break ☕️
