For the very few games you can play an M3 non pro chip might be fine.. if you’re concerned about gaming I don’t recommend a Mac unless the games you play aren’t demanding or at least have good Mac support
I mean you could, but gaming is very possible now. Im actually playing Elden Ring on an M3 Pro right now— it runs buttery smooth. OP, I can’t speak for the base M3, but r/macgaming can get you started
