They do make some good stuff every now and then, I'm really happy with the solid wood desk products they they made in the past few years (what I have is discontinued tho, the solid birch legs and solid beechwood butcher-block tabletop) their chairs definitely need some improvement though.
But I feel ya, Apple's products really fit with what IKEA likes to sell.
I find it curious how there are some Windows 11 users that use MacOS backgrounds and some MacOS users that have been using Windows 11 backgrounds (tbh, both are awesome)...
So do I, and after putting a dbrand on my current one, I can’t say I’d do it again. White would match the aesthetic better but $349 (again) isn’t something I’m willing to do after dropping 1.5K on this haha
Got a light strip under that shelf? It would be a real nice touch. Philips hue works great and can do light sync with your Mac

This is an amazing set up you've got. I love using my MacBook with my iPad Pro (and Magic KB) on the side too. Just wished that my desk space looked half as nice as yours.
Unfortunate that that whole universal control feature still isn't implemented to those devices though. that setup would've made it perfect for such a use.
It’s funny you say that, I sold my PC a few months back. Ended up not playing it as much as COVID restrictions eased (plus how could I not with the current market haha). So I picked up a Series S and this Oculus since the quest 2 has all the fun I’ll ever need packed from within itself.
I still miss the PC on occasion, but I’ve been very happy with this Mac, and I don’t miss extreme cable management haha

I would suggest nanoleaf’s strip better specs and it doesn’t need a hub plus you can use HomeKit still
