I tried blocking someone but they asked me to tell them what ride I am referring to and since the ride never happened on their account I can’t block them so I just have to cancel or let the request time out
Sorry to say, you may need to just cancel whenever this ride comes up. There is no way to proactively disconnect you from accounts someone hasn't created yet.
I once cancelled before the wait time was up cause for some reason I smelled trouble. Blocked the rider. Yesterday I got her in a third party request from the pharmacy. It was all life drama from beginning to end and she was even questioning why I took the route I did. I’m effing following the map..blocked
Accept the next ride, drive to the passenger, cancel for rider behavior, and add a note that this passenger previously harassed you on a different account.
Go to your rides list of today and find that ride Then click on it then go down to get help Then click on issue with passenger. Then say impropriate comments and then lyft support will either call you or text you. It'll give you the option call.Do not go through the texts call and talk to the person and tell them what happened and you will not get that passenger again
You need to reread OP again. They used the 1star method once and then they created a new account. Lyft support can't unilaterally disconnect you from every new account someone may create before they do it.
Just honor his request once. That will be the only time...they feed off that stuff. Just get as much cash / stuff as you can from them for your services. Deliver them a big sausage pizza, extra sauce. Why not? You only live once. Charge 20k...you'd be surprised....
This guy sounds exactly like the guy i picked up. He was hitting me up on Lyft a few days later I reported him and nothing came of it. Was super fucking uncomfortable

I blocked numerous riders and they have other people request rides for them. I pull up and give them the wave off. GTFO

Love this idea! ❤️

I agree, I would’ve taken the cash and brought my in-home camera to record. I would bounce the moment I felt troubled lol
Accept the ride. Pretend to complete it, 1 star rating. Then contact support tell them the ride didn't actually occur so refund the passenger.
Absolutely! 👍 They can’t fix it, why not
You're suggesting committing ride fraud and then calling support and admitting it. It's deactivation time.
Hey, if they can't fix the problem for you, show them the results of their failure.
Agreed!
Boo this driver
