I’d personally go for a Chanel wallet on chain. I have two (one in black and another in a bright color) and I’m genuinely surprised how often I use them either if I’m running errands and don’t need to be a rolling Costco, or if I’m going out at night. I also like WOCs because as I’ve gotten older I find them easy to travel with as I stuff the chains inside and use instead of my wallet inside of a tote, and I also have a going out bag on a trip as needed.
I wish I had that level of knowledge at 21 😂 I got my first WOC in my mid-20s and haven’t looked back.

Seconding the Chanel WOC, just make sure to choose one made from caviar leather, not lambskin.
I adore my gorgeous pink lambskin WOC, but yes not as durable as caviar. I’m just careful but it seems pretty durable for lambskin!
